Yayayay! I finished the paintings!

Jed's skin tone definitely came out darker than I'd like (especially since most of his outfit is already brown), but I'm still really happy with how they both turned out!

These cards are about the size of my hand, so I'm pretty impressed I managed to get such small details on there :D

So some of my friends and I raided Home Depot for the free paint samples this weekend.

So, naturally, I'm painting Jedediah and Octavius on them!

Octavius' card is "100 MPH" and Jedediah's is "azure lake"

Jokes on you, Jed and Oct's voices are higher pitched. Their normal voices are just freakishly deep

This thought is suddenly very entertaining to me for some reason...

i have to say i’m glad NATM didn’t pitch up the voices for the miniatures

in other movies and tv shows small people have squeaky little voices, à la Alvin and the Chipmunks. but in NATM they keep the voices at their normal pitch and i guess that’s part of what makes the characters charming to me

just real people who happen to be small

NATM is still one of my strongest hyperfixations currently, and these two are (to nobody's surprise) my FAVORITES (I'm unoriginal as hell and like smol lil guys)

Anyways, don't mind the hands, I worked on them for like two hours gay straight and gave up

It's official. I've had everything I've written about Angel copied, pasted and posted.

It's upsetting me so much and this person doesn't even care! The only reason I haven't named names is because I know if I do, they'll just shut their account down and make a new one.

So, once again, I would just like to remind everyone that Angel Bingham is MY Octonauts OC! And even though I have never seen the show, they've crossed it over with Wild Kratts, so I kind of want the Wild Kratts fandom to be aware of this too.

I'm really sorry to have to bring this up again. I'm really not looking for drama (I tried to keep quiet about it at first), but I'm not looking for someone who's stealing my OC and plagiarising my writing to get away with it.

Once again, if anybody has any advice on what I can do to stop it, I would love to hear it. Blocking and reporting hasn't worked and neither does telling them to stop.

The reason that zoos are bad is because they are attracted to FERAL animals that CAN NOT give consent! That's the whole point. The animals can't consent to any romantic or further relation

HOWEVER, when you apply this to an anthropomorphic, talking, and SENTIENT creature

Because then they CAN consent

LIKE CAPTAIN BARNACLES, IF HE WAS REAL, COULD LITERALLY SAY NO TO ANY ADVANCES MOOSHIE MADE (not that I think he would, but just to make a point)

Now, some people are still uncomfortable or weirded out by self-shippers

I don't personally understand, as it's not hurting anyone and is basically the same as having fictional crushes, which, again, normal.

If you were really so uncomfortable, you would just block the blog and move on. That's what most people do

Just burnt my thumb with a hot glue gun and now in hurts really bad-

I've had it in my head to create wings that spread when you pull a string. All the ones I found use like wooden rods of PVC pipes, though, so I found a base reference on pintrest and created it with cardboard instead.

Not the sturdiest option, but whatever

Anyway, I have all the pieces, now I just need to connect them all, make a whole other one, and a backing for it... fun!

I've been trying to record the sounds it makes for a while, and I finally got it
