The problem with movies is that since the talkies the film industry has historically been conservative and word-oriented. The three-act play has been the model. It’s time to abandon the conventional view of the movie as an extension of the three-act play. Too many people over thirty are still word-oriented rather than picture-oriented.

Would you read a book with no chapters, spaces, or dialogue structure? Neither would I. The same goes for screen writing. Formatting is key. Without it, you are telling anyone who critiques your work that you're an amateur. Here's a good example of correct formatting. Don't give someone a reason to overlook your project. Compliment your great script with a proper layout.

This is a good tip for actors.. It’s better to make up what you feel the character went through than try to use your own experiences to try to make understanding… Because you're acting… You are not the character and, if you become too attached to the character, you may lose yourself… Then who will understand you?

How do you understand perception? Whatever message you are trying to showcase, sometimes you have to consider the different perceptions? Or maybe not… Maybe you shouldn’t try… Maybe if anything you should listen more and then do what comes naturally…#loveyourgift

How can you take someone's pain as an actor and illuminate it on film without losing control? Possible tip: learn about yourself seek whatever you may feel is right for yourself and sometimes no noises or interaction will accomplish this in a healthy way. If u listen and try understand others you could learn more about yourself and it may be easier to get in and out of character with out losing your comfort ability or convictions!

How deep are you willing to go? If you jumped into this water which is reflecting the sky, although it looks like an unknown part of a globe…. Will you go down where there is no air or pressure ? Will you be able to come back up. AND if you do… Are you still going to be able to realize you re only looking at a picture and I simply made a statement… Sometimes even consider the commercial breaks. GM

Sometimes confidence when acting is a mask... Expect attention and utilize that energy towards the character. Good thing about energy is that it doesn't need eyes or thought or words. So if you're really into character, you won't fall out!
