Golden hues gazed over the other trainer to inspect her troublemaker, only to see the bird Pokemon staring intently at the little pastries they passed by. Kage didn’t even look as though he was aware that he had just bumped into someone just now. Perhaps his stomach was more important than anything at this moment. But knowing neither her Pokemon nor the trainer was injured in any way, gave Mao some peace of mind.
“I think he wants one of those pastries we passed by..” She explained as she went up to Kage, feeling a little guilty that she didn’t have the money on her to treat her Pokemon. But she was still concerned about the trainer in front of her as it was her fault that she didn’t keep a closer watch on her Swablu.
It was her policy to repay anyone she had troubled, no matter how small it may be. She looked towards where her Swablu was floating and gained an idea. “Can I treat to one of those?” Mao asked, pointing towards the little treats behind the glass window. Even though she was didn’t have much on her, she couldn’t just leave the matter.
“Ah, I see. Well..if anything, those pastries must be really amazing if he’s so eager to get them.” Fay smiled at the notion of a Pokemon who was excited just to get their favorite food. It wasn’t uncommon but it still warmed his heart whenever he saw such a scenario occur. He soon felt something shaking in the back of his hood when he remembered who was in there, gently picking Min up from there so as not to frighten her any more than the Eevee already was.
“There there, Min. It’s okay...Nothing’s gonna hurt you alright?” His words fell on deaf ears as Min continued to shake in fear until Fay gently patted her on the head which comforted her slightly as she found herself nuzzling into his touch until she noticed the stranger in front of them, she then quickly escaped back into his hood.
Guess some things never change.
“Hmm? Oh no it’s fine, really! Don’t worry about it. Well, maybe it would be better to treat your Swablu? I mean he seems more hungry than I do at the moment!”

“This isn’t the best place to be spacing out.”
Once his slender fingers had reached out towards her, the poison-type specialist quickly threaded her own with his and allowed herself to be lifted off of the ground. The momentary annoyance that had blossomed as a result of both of their oblivious natures fading into the breeze as a result of her courteous act to assist her. She untangled herself from him once situated and quickly went to brushed off the dust and debris that clung to her from the aftermath of the collision.
“The ghosts will get you and suck out your soul if you aren’t on alert,” she warned him, though the statement was laced with a good-natured attitude and she giggled shortly after to confirm that she was only joking.
While the other was quick to apologize for the mishap, the former idol allowed her cyclamen eyes to look him over before turning towards the map that was positioned at their feet. In one graceful movement, she collected it from the ground below and gently brushed off some gravel that’d gotten on it. Her eyes followed the crinkles in the paper when she assumed he’d been trailing the path with his finger, her head tilting to the side as she couldn’t read the smudged destination clearly.
“What are you looking for around here?” she inquired as she handed the map back to him, her lips curving up in a sweet smile. She knew Lavender Town almost as well as Fuchsia City from being in the area for so long and was sure she’d be able to hep if he allowed her.
“H-Haha..sorry about that..I-It’s sort of a bad habit of mine...B-But I am trying to fix it, honest!”
He laughed nervously as he rubbed the back of his arm subconsciously, she was right on that comment. Spacing out in an unknown place wasn’t really a good decision if he had to be truthful with himself but he was trying to figure out his way around so maybe that cancelled that mistake? Realizing he was doing it once again, he quickly pushed those thoughts aside and listened to her next words.
“E-Eh...?R-Really?!” He shuddered at the thought of a ghost capturing and sucking his soul if he wasn’t paying attention, shuddering at it as he began looking around for any sight of said ghosts until she began giggling and it was then he realize that she had been joking. He sighed as he felt his cheeks flushing lightly in embarrassment for being so gullible enough to believe that as if it were real.
He watched her as she picked up his map and began studying it, from what he could only infer for the time being. She seemed to know her way around judging from the way she was reading the map so hopefully she could help him find his destination.
“H-Huh? O-Oh! Well, I was in Vermillion City prior to this and one of the elders in that town told me to visit the famous Lavender Town Pokemon Tower, I don’t suppose you would know where that is, would you?”

“Not an insult at all,” she replied. “Take it as a compliment if you want, I won’t think bad of you for it.”
How odd it felt to be ridding herself of emotional baggage, let alone take the time to acknowledge it. Dee had never really gotten used to the idea of talking to her parents about something that bothered her. She was expected to stick it out and press on, because they thought she was strong enough for it. The feeling amplified with the fact that she’d talked about all of this to someone she’d ran into a short time ago, but shrugged it off. It’d been said and done, so there was little point in trying to take back what she told him. Besides, from her judgement Fay didn’t appear to have the demeanour of a person who’d pass her thoughts onto another. He seemed far too genuine to do such a thing.
“Guess it was kinda like a therapy session, huh?” she watched Fay as he joked around, an arm outstretched to take the imaginary sheet of paper from him. “It helped me out, though. Really, I don’t have much time to even take notice of what’s bothering me. Thanks a lot!”
Dee found his cheery attitude, quite similar to hers, to be infectious. The class clown act he had going was amusing. With a small start she realised something else. “Hey, you’ve finally calmed down around me!” her smile widened. “Here you were a little while ago scared of the big bad Elite Four. Nice to see you’ve settled, Fay.”
“Compliment it is. Not every day I get one after all.”
Smiling lazily, Fay stretched his arms to help his body refrain from obtaining numbness for not moving from their spot for quite some time. “Well hey, you deserve some credit too. I mean it’s not like I talk about my own past with random people I meet on the street. How strange that you would be the first one I do so with.”
He paused for a few moments as he let the realization of what she said hit him before he chuckled nervously. Rubbing the back of his neck, he offered a weak smile to her. “Maybe it’s because I’m not thinking of you right now as Elite Four Member Dee but rather as my friend Dee, don’t know about you but I much prefer the latter to the former. It makes me more comfortable that way, if that make sense.”
“I’m still pretty scared of the Elite Four, that hasn’t changed. But..I’m glad to have met the one with a sense of humor at least.”

Oh, man. Riddled with guilt, Quinn jumped in panic at the stranger’s question. His hands fumbled anxiously in his pockets, making the search for a cloth or tissue, something to help, all the more difficult. “Ah!” In a triumphant cry he felt the folds of a soft material and yanked it out to hold up and display proudly. His expression dropped. It wasn’t going to remove the mud clinging from his hair. In fact, it could hardly remove fingerprints and smudges off his glasses half the time. A measly lens cloth wouldn’t save him this time.
“Well,” he laughed nervously. “That didn’t go to plan. Oh, but! It is the Marshland area, so we could look for some water to wash the mud out of your hair?” A bit ridiculous, very messy, but it’ll have to do. Maybe this idea made the stranger more annoyed than he already appeared to be. Anyone would, after having a blob of gunk hit you.
He tilted his head in thought. “I’m not quite sure what else to do, um… what’s your name? I’m Quinn. I suppose it’s the least I can do after throwing mud at you. H-honest, I thought you were a Pokemon. Sorry. Again.”
Was his eyesight failing him already? No, it couldn’t be. But to be fair, he didn’t see anything other than something moving in the grass. Hopefully his new acquaintance understood that much and forgave him.
Fay merely watched in confusion as the other began searching for what he could only assume was a napkin of sorts to help him wipe off the mud and yet he wasn’t sure why the other was such in a state of panic, it wasn’t like he was threatening him or any of the sort to begin with. Upon seeing the lens cloth that the male had took awhile to find, Fay merely offered a weak smile of encouragement. Well, at the very least he tried so it was the thought that counts.
“Well....I don’t really think there’s much of a choice now, is there?” He didn’t mean to show it but the disappointment was obvious in his voice before he began looking around for a pond or river to wash his face in. Like the stranger had said, it was the Marshland part after all so a water source couldn't be that far away.
“Quinn?” He stifle a chuckle at the name before composing himself lest the other thought he was making fun of their name. “Sorry, I’m just more familiar with another Quinn of sorts so I wasn’t expecting to meet someone with the same name. Oh right, I’m Fay and like I said, don’t worry about it. If anything, I was getting bored so maybe this was a good sign? Would have appreciated if the mud bit didn’t happen though..”
The awkwardness made Fay uncomfortable if anything, so he decided to try and lighten the mood with a joke. “Well, in a way.. I guess this sort of counts as a free mud mask, sort of like in a spa? Don’t you think so?”

Blue orbs glanced around, hoping to get a good glimpse of the area he was in. Fay had heard about it from one of the elder residents in Vermillion about the main attraction of Lavender Town was what people referred to as the ‘Pokemon Tower’. If the stories were right, ghosts of the dead Pokemon roamed the floors as trainers paid their respects daily.
Though spooked out by it all, the curiosity in him was slightly stronger than the fear that resided. Interested by it all, he had pressed for more details before the elder simply pushed a map to his hands, told him to just visit it and shooed him away. All of that led him to where he was now but as the male looked around, he only saw what seemed to be a radio tower which confused him.
Maybe I’m in the wrong place?
Head tilted ever so slightly, he pulled out the map in hopes of having a clearer idea on which part of the town he was in. Unfortunately, whilst he was too engrossed in reading it, he had failed to notice the pedestrian coming towards his direction from the back and as such, the two bumped into each other causing Fay to fumble with the map, dropping it on the ground.
“Whoa!”
Turning around to investigate the source, he was surprised by the sight of a young woman laying on the floor before flinching at her tone as he quickly bowed his head in fear of angering her more.
“S-Sorry! I was kinda looking for something...”
He held out a hand towards her in apology as he gave off a nervous laugh before pulling her up slowly.

The small town that was covered in a magnificent hue of purple had always been one of the most popular areas for both travelers and trainers alike who visited the starting region. It’d grown less disturbing over the years due to the influx of visitors, but it still held a certain chilling air that coursed through you no matter where you were. And while most of it’s publicity came from the haunted tower, there will still several other attractions to be seen there.
One of the larger appeals had been the newly built radio tower – a grand marbled establishment that really stood out among the more traditional looking town. It’d been the heart of several new broadcasts and interesting radio channels across the nation that everyone seemed to be listening to and was steadily gaining more and more popularity with neighboring regions.
It was even said that it could rival the favored stations of the Johto region.. though she was sure that that wasn’t true just yet.
“Aaah~ When are they going to stop asking me to co-host all of these things?”
The question came with feigned annoyance as the poison-type leader brushed a lock of hair over her shoulder. As both a worthy contender in the battling world and one of the more popular figures in Kanto, it was no surprise that she had been asked to do commercial ads or guest appearances around the region. She’d been retired as an idol, but yet she still found herself doing all the same things – though this time she had much more freedom.
“Maybe they’ll even give me a spot on the – ow!”
So wrapped up in her conceited fantasying, the Fuchsia City Gym Leader hadn’t been paying attention to where she was going and mistakenly bumped into an innocent pedestrian. She stumbled back a few steps before she twisted and unceremoniously fell on her bottom… very graceful.
“Oh my, Arceus! Like, please totally watch where you’re going!”
The fact that she was the one who initially caused the collision with her carelessness wasn’t important. What was important was that she was now sitting on the ground and this guy had yet to extend a hand out to her and properly apologize for so rudely bumping into her.

Blue eyes glanced around for the location he was heading to before spotting a sign telling him that the Canalave Library was just a few more meters away. Holding up the books he had borrowed, he made one final check to count if he had the exact number that he took from them the first time.
Satisfied with the amount, Fay placed them into his messenger bag before continuing in the direction to the Library. Sighing to himself, he cursed his short term memory on situations such as this where he had forgotten that he had borrowed books from the Library a few weeks back only for him to find them again the day that they were due.
This in turn had caused the male to panic and he had proceeded to arrive to Canalave immediately on Juno as quick as he could before they were closed for the day. He didn't want a repeated incident where he had forgotten them and had racked up an overdue fee.
I should really make a list on things to remember- !!>
Feeling the force of something crashing into him, Fay fell backwards as the contents of his bag spilled, leaving books and papers sprawled all over the floor."Urgh...I'm gonna feel that in the morning.." Looking up to find out the cause of the collision, he was greeted with the sight of a female and her holding out a hand.
“A-Ah I’m fine, thank you.” Accepting the gesture, Fay took her hand and stood up, dusting himself off. Realizing that his stuff was all over the floor, he quickly packed them all in fear that anyone might step over them before he released a sigh of relief.
“Sorry about that, guess I should pay more attention to where I’m going..”
Return Visit l Fay and Aria
Finally she was coming back to Sinnoh. It had been years since she was here, for her journey after leaving the International Police. Sinnoh had always been a place of mystery and intrigue to her, even during her time just coming through for missions.
Besides, if she never came, she wouldn’t have gotten two of her teammates. Kurow and Cheri were caught during her time here, and they had proven themselves well. She just wished there was more dark type Pokemon she could find (that weren’t legendary of course; that would look suspicious to anyone)
That didn’t stop her from trying to learn more about them of course. The legend of Darkrai had caught her eye, consider it was a dark type. Hoenn didn’t have as many legendaries and myths as Sinnoh, and at times she wish she was here as a Elite Four. She loved Hoenn for all that it was of course, so she wouldn’t trade it.
She was just about to head to the Canalave Library but Kurow suddenly flew off, leaving her and Cheri alone. She sighed and ran off in pursuit. Really Kurow? Did something shiny catch your eye again? I thought you were over this… She was so caught up in trying to catch up to him and accidentally ran into someone, falling back from the impact.
“Ah, sorry! You’re not hurt are you? I really didn’t mean for that to happen. Can you stand?” she asked, pushing herself up and extending a hand out to the person she ran into.

It seemed that the two of them had been so wrapped up in the conversation that neither of them noticed the large sign quickly closing in on the male. And when he smacked his head against it mercilessly, the more petite of the two couldn’t help but let out a small yelp.
“A– Are you alright, Fay-san?!”·
Ai abandoned her space a few feet away from him and was in his side in a few seconds flat. She worriedly glanced over where he’d connected with the hanging sign, but it seemed that Fay was lighthearted about it and was starting up another one of his jokes. She would of laughed at that one too had she not been so concerned he was going to get a concussion.·
“L– Let’s go sit down, okay?” she wasn’t about to let him walk to wherever he had been originally attending with how accident-prone he seemed to be. Maybe she really was a bit of bad luck.
Hands reaching out to rub the spot that he had bumped his head against, he could only hope that it wasn’t bruised as badly as he thought it was.“Y-Yeah...I’m fine! I’m fine! Guess this is what I get for not paying attention to whatever’s in front of me. Ow..” Getting up from his prone position, Fay did his best to reassure her with a smile that everything was alright.
“I’m alright, really! It was just a small bump is all!” He pretended to knock the back of his head as if making a point that it wasn’t as bad as it seems. However, he winced from the action once his hand made contact with his head.
Guess it hurt more than I thought..
“W-Well...at least it was the back of my head and not the front right? That would have hurt way more!” He paused before realizing the way he had said that sentence was wrong. “N-Not that it hurts I mean!” Laughing nervously, he nodded along with her idea as he pulled her along gently to one of the cafe’s tables nearby.
Pulling out the seat for her, he went and took the seat that was directly facing her before sighing softly. He wondered how often he had these sorts of accidents, maybe it was the karma of not getting hit by the car earlier before he scoffed at the idea. It was supposed to be for something bad one had done, not something bad that was going to happen to one. Another idea thought it to be the one where he had thought of tricking her to accepting his treat, that was still up in the air for the moment.
He was pulled out of his thoughts to a waiter that had arrived to their table, asking for their order. Realizing that he had probably been there waiting for a fair bit for them, Fay rubbed the back of his neck in slight embarrassment. Perhaps he should save the daydreaming for later when he wasn’t in the company for others.
“Um...I’ll have an Iced Coffee for me. What about you, Ai? Anything catch your fancy here?”

sinnohprincen:
“Ah, so soft!!” Rem cried with delight. Though they knew you weren’t supposed to be touchy with strange pokemon, Rem couldn’t help but wrap their arms around Juno and press their face into her soft plumage.
At the mention of Hikaru, they lifted their head to smile at Fay. “Yeah!! Luxray are really cool, huh?” Rem watched as Vale bumped his head against Hikaru. The torterra’s head easily dwarfed all of Hikaru, so he was sent staggering for a few moments but quickly righted himself. The little shinx began to purr, rubbing his cheek against Vale’s.
Juno beamed with pride at the affection that was given to her by Rem as she cooed further before as she nuzzled against them, content with the amount of affection that she had gotten.
Vale merely allowed the young Shinx to continue as it snorted before laying down on the ground with the intention to take a nap from everything that was happening.
Fay chuckled at the sights before he mused about letting one of the remaining pokemon he had in his hand out, still unsure if it was safe enough for Rem to meet her. After a debate inside his head, he sighed before pressing against the switch and releasing the pokemon.
Out came Renee, the Garchomp. Immediately, she growled as she looked around the area for any potential dangers that could have harmed them until Fay patted her on the back, assuring her that they were not in any sort of harm. She relaxed for a moment until her eyes picked up on Rem, instantly growling at them.
“Renee, calm. Rem is a friend, so be nice alright?” The Mach Pokemon spent a few more moments glaring at them before obeying the request as she slowly moved towards them. “Rem, meet Renee. She’s sorta my version of Hikaru, if you will.”

The expression donned upon Fay’s features depicted a mixture of surprise and disbelief, which was very much expected seeing that he was unaware of her title from their initial meeting. Thankfully enough, it seemed that he was not one of those that would fled, or rejoice at her mere presence; perhaps a side-effect of sorts from being a childhood friend?
❝ I’d appreciate it if you didn’t, actually. Though I would be able to carry you, I’d think that the media would find it quite strange for the Kanto Champion to be carrying a boy in her arms. ❞ How she managed to maintain a straight face whilst she said such a statement would be a mystery to most, but it seemed like a blatantly obvious factor that ought to be taking into account. It was not so much a jokingly made statement, rather a straightforward fact. ❝ Publicity would be anything but appreciated, so I ask of you not to. ❞
Upon the mention of guards, did Maia subtly stifle a soft laugh, rather amused that he would think that the League would be allowed to provide guards by her side. It was not as though she was a frail celebrity of sorts– her team would be perfectly capable of rendering any harmful intent of sorts utterly futile. ❝ You’re funny, Fay. I would think that you ought to know that I’m not the type of person that would need guards? Frankly, I find it surprising that you would not have heard of me if you had asked Gym Leaders or members of the Elite Four. ❞
Knowing Eon, it would be safe to assume that she would soon return to Maia as soon as she found there was only few things of amusement in this place without her trainer. But Fay did not seem to be wary of that very fact, hence did she play along with his sentiment for ease of conversing. ❝ Oh, of course. ❞
❝ Ah, are you allergic to seafood? There’s a stall that sells some takoyaki that’s quite appetizing. ❞ With a swift movement, Maia retrieved her wallet and searched through said item, before coming up with the conclusion that she had more than enough to treat Fay to such. ❝ I get a discount, seeing that I’m the Unova Champion’s guest. ❞
A nervous laugh and sigh was all he could offer to his response as he realized that the joke of him fainting to her pretty much had just flown over her head on that one. “Yeah...no, I’m fine really. I’m not gonna really faint, that was uh...meant to be a joke and it- You know what, never mind..”
Oh great, so that comment was funny to her.
Fay could feel himself threatening to dig a hole and just hide himself deeper and deeper to avoid any further embarrassment that he could possibly bring unto himself at that point. “Hahahahahaha...yeah..funny..” He didn’t know whether he should have been in shock from the joke not being funny but the after comment or happy that he had at least managed to amuse her.
He raised any eyebrow at her response to his question, slightly confused as to why she wasn’t concerned too much about the Espeon. Fay just went with the assumption that Maia probably trusted her enough to wander about on her own and come back to her once she was done. “Well, which stall or place do you think she would go first for?”
“Seafood? Hmm...I don’t think I am? I should be able to handle seafood pretty okay, at least I think I can.” Upon seeing her retrieve her wallet and searching for what he could only guess was money, Fay shook his head at the notion, he didn’t like the idea of people treating him to stuff.
“No no, please. I can pay for myself! I don’t want to trouble you in any way so I should be able to buy food for myself at least. Besides you’re a guest yourself here like you said, if anything you should be keeping that money to yourself to buy any thing you like.”

Discussing her thoughts on battling was something Dee rarely did. It only happened once or twice a year, should she run into family or return home for a special occasion. It was the only thing her family would eagerly converse about it. Discussing it with someone she’d met only today was even rarer. She couldn’t recall doing this frequently in public interviews either. While she found it strange to be so honest with Fay, his opinions seemed to draw out her own.
It’d always been a challenge to make eye contact whenever Dee talked about this subject. It wasn’t shame or embarrassment, nor was it entirely out of shyness. “Me, too. I always got told the opposite, had to learn it all on my own.” She looked up to offer a lopsided grin. “Guess it saves you the extra work of having to know yourself.”
As Fay continued she shuffled her feet, uncomfortable from putting weight on one. It started to tingle with familiar pins and needles. The wall pressing against her back wasn’t much better. “Hah, well… most battle for the fun of it. I do as well, but it’s a bit different. Some of us do it because we have to. It’s more of a status thing? Family traditions.” she paused to cough. “But yeah, it’d be boring to be Champion. That’s why I never pressed for the position. God, I only got through two of the Elites when I tried.”
“Even though you’re stuck waiting in the top, letting everyone else do battles for you, casual stuff isn’t out of the question. Of course, you have to train. And you’re right, people have goals to meet. Some are still going but I’ve met mine. I’m happy with where I am now.”
Like her acquaintance did, Dee snapped out of her melancholy attitude and straightened, folding her arms. This time she was able to give him a genuine smile. As he stuttered her hands waved in reassurance. What did he have to feel bad about? It was nice to know how “ordinary” trainers felt.
“Nah, it’s perfectly fine! Honestly, I haven’t really had a chance to chat with trainers about battling, and how they feel about it, unless they ask me about strategies or the something broadcasted on TV. It’s a good change.”
A smile formed upon his lips at her words, he was glad that their conversation had ended on a light note. It was good to go back to conversations like these, it wasn’t as tense to him so he felt more comfortable than guarded whenever he had to speak on his end.
“Hmmm, that so? Should I take what you said as a compliment that I’m different or was that an subtle insult?” Fay teased before letting his body relax from the stiffness he was feeling from the conversation earlier.
He mused on why had he said so much on the subject when he just barely met Dee. Perhaps it was because the situation called for it, maybe it was him just poking his nose into other’s business when he shouldn’t have or he was reflecting another’s person ideals. Even he himself didn’t know why it happened but he had said what he felt and it had honestly made his chest lighter.
As if a weight had been dropped.
He decided not to question it further, instead turning his attention back to the other with a smirk plastered onto his face. “That was sorta like a therapy session, no? I’ll send you my bill for the services I have provided today.” Jokingly, he pretended to write on a piece of paper in the air before ‘passing’ it over to her.

He didn’t really know what compelled him to try out the Safari Zone. Perhaps it was the surprise of possibly finding a new Pokemon that he had yet to seen or maybe it was the fact that he had never really tried the Safari Zone once before in his life.
These were the thoughts surrounding the individual’s mind as he sat down below the tree in said place, looking out for any Pokemon that would have interested him but to no avail. Sighing to himself, he briefly wondered why he wasn’t allowed to bring in his team to this area.
“Hmm, knowing Juno.. I’ll probably lose her faster here than anywhere else we have gone.” Taking out one of the ’Safari Balls’ as the attendants had been so adamant on explaining to him, he rolled it’s small form back and forth between his finger tips as he laid against the bark of a tree nearby. He closed his eyes in the hopes of taking a quick nap to pass the time.
It didn’t last.
Soon, he felt something hit him in the face which prompted the male to cry out in surprise and disgust as he wiped off the mud. A thought came to his mind on who could have decided to throw mud at another person as he stood up to find the source.
His eyes picked up the sight of someone in a state of panic as he sighed once more, there goes his plan of taking a short nap now. “Umm...It’s okay, really. Just uh...do you have anything that I can wipe this mud off with? It would really be appreciated.”
not a pokemon!; quinn & fay
@oblitusxunum
When the Frontier Brain had a day off, he planned excitedly. Quinn was glad to leave Olivine City. Calculating travel costs like there was no tomorrow, sights were set on the Johto Safari Zone. It was ideal; not far from Cianwood, a city over (how close it was!), inexpensive to participate, what wasn’t there to like? Early in the morning did he set off, arriving at the Safari Zone several hours later.
Entry fees paid and Safari Balls given, Quinn picked his way to the Marshland area. Hunched down in the grass, his shoes made squelching noises in the thick mud. Tall grass had unfortunately blocked his vision and thus caused him to rely on sound alone. His hopes were to catch a Banette. He’d done diligent homework weeks beforehand, excited at the prospect of nabbing the ghost-type.
Upon hearing a rustle not too far from him Quinn’s head poked out of the grass. In a bid to draw out whatever hid there he threw a handful of mud, which landed squarely on the target. Instead of a Pokemon’s cry it was a human’s and in surprise, he stood up.
“Did… did I get a Pokemon?” Neck craned, Quinn’s eyes followed the person who slowly rose. Mud adorned one side of his head and shoulder. “I didn’t! Uh – uh, um, I was hoping to catch a Banette! F-from here it looked like a hiding Pokemon! I didn’t mean to!”
