The nice thing about these winter days is that you can light some cozy fire.

Rusontsubo – Imported Southern Chinese strange jar 14-15c (Dealer: misakadou) – Imported Southern Chinese strange jar via Luzon island in Philippines to Japan called generally ‘Rusontsubo’ (Jar from Luzon). Muromachi period, 14-15th century. Since treasured particularly by the wabi master ‘SEN no Rokyu’ and valued more than any other precious things at that time, imported in large numbers and still remained as the handed-down tea art pieces in Japan. However, a very scarce piece like this jar from 14-15th century as existed today. Besides, such exceptionally beautiful form with refined blackness in fine antique condition as seen. approx. H 35cm (13.77in), D 34cm (13.38in)
