gull skull that I got from a mystery box! out of all the skulls I own I think this is my favourite!

finally got around to putting some of my insects in lil jars!

from top to bottom, left to right: bumblebee, caterpillar (probably from a cabbage white), two drone flies, a moth (unsure of the species), another smaller moth (same as the other one) and a wall mason wasp.

alligator teeth! two inch-long ones and a 4cm one. they're all very snazzy and I kinda wanna make a necklace or something with them!

there is a PERFECTLY GOOD PHEASANT by the side of the road and my mum is REFUSING to let me cycle up to go get it. this is an outrage and I am very angy >:(

another of my Christmas presents: an opossum skull! she's a little greasy but it's nothing a quick bath can't fix. she's so adorable and I love her

Turtle skull that I got for Christmas! Not quite sure of the species though.

Also I made a lil background thing for smaller skulls so now you don't have to look at my windowsill anymore

so uhhhh... hey. long time no see.

i’m not really sure why i stopped posting here, probably bc i forgot one week then that turned into two and next thing i know it’s been literal months.

i’m not dead i swear!!!

i’ve also decided to post purely on here instead of instagram bc i hate instagram’s formatting... too much work and i am Lazy

anyway i have a ton of new stuff from christmas that i can show!!! plus some stuff that didn’t arrive in time. it’s my birthday soon so i’ll stuff to show from then as well.

basically i now have Content to post so... look forward to that i guess

my roe deer skulls!

this one has some thicc antlers. chunky boi

still need to remove the paint from two of them, then I'm going to repaint them for an art project!

also it took quite a bit of work to get them all into that bucket in the last picture ;-;

the bone jar is now empty and its contents are clean! from top to bottom, left to right: 3 keelbones, 3 bird humeruses (humeri?), bird synsacrum, a (slightly broken) vertebra, two more vertebrae and some sort of knucklebone thing.

the two vertebrae in more detail (I don't think it shows up well in the picture but they are slightly green in some places, which I think is a sign of lead poisoning?)

and here's the crow and duck skulls! the duck is slightly wonky but I love them anyway

my sheep skull is finally done! I'm pretty sure she's a lamb from last year, since not all the teeth have come through yet. I'm also pretty sure she's a female, given the fact that I found the skull near a farmer's field and the ewes around here don't have horns.

I'll post about my roe deer skulls next, and maybe an update on the bone jar as well ^^

owl pellets! the bones in the second picture all came from one pellet - there's five whole skulls in there, which I'm pretty pleased with ^^

aaaaaaa it's here! a fox skull that I bought!

it's slightly wonky too, which is super cool (you can see it best in pictures 1 and 4)

I also got some roe deer skulls, which are being cleaned atm. two of them are covered in paint :/

also, I won some of the skulls I was bidding on! hopefully they'll arrive soon ^^

got some owl pellets on the way, and i’m bidding on a couple skulls atm 👀

a bumblebee I'm pinning, which will probably be the next thing I draw as well!

gosh it was so difficult to get the legs right - I went for a more natural pose with this one instead of just leaving the legs scrunched underneath. once again, sorry if the quality isn't the best.
