Happy Birthday Choi Minho!

Today you turn 21 years old… there are so many things I’d like to say but I don’t think I could ever find the right words. I always think of what I would say if you were standing right in front of me, and most of the times I find myself unable to express my own feelings, that’s just how meaningful your existence is to me. I know you’ll never be able to read this but I can’t help but at least try to express just how much I care for you. It’s been a little more than a year since I found you, it took so little and it felt so effortless I barely had time to realize I had already fallen for you.. You came into my life like a dazzling light, took me out of the darkness and filled the suffocating emptiness in my heart, like an angel… beautiful and unreal. I don’t know where I would be right now without you, I owe you too much and I’m thankful because somehow I was meant to find you. There’s nothing I love the most than your smile, your beautiful brown eyes and how they’re capable of showing so much kindness, your gentle and humble soul, your concern for others… You’ve worked so hard for everything you have and value it so much you’d restlessly fight for it every single day. I wish there were more people like you, honest, generous, hardworking, genuine… I wish you could see just how precious you are, and I wish you find someone who’s able to remind you every day and in return you’d show that person what true love is. You deserve all the happiness in the world, and I can only hope you reach all your goals and dreams, and find what you’re looking for. I’m pretty sure one day when you’re older and you look back at everything you’ve been through you’ll be satisfied with the person you’ve become and all the things you were able to experience. And even when I might never be able to meet you, or even see you, you’re truly an inspiration, the person I look up to the most, someone who has changed my life forever, who has taught me more than any other person I’ve ever come across with, even about myself. Every word hurts my heart, simply because nothing I say could even remotely represent what you really are… there’s just no way I could make you justice. So I can only say a million times “thank you”… and still, it will never be enough.
