I really like Baird, Steward of Argive, Elesh Norn, and Darien, King of Kjeldor. But I also agree with @commandertheory that card draw definitely helps MonoW our a lot even even if it’s conditional

I can't understand why after so many times you keep printing bad mono white commanders. I don't get it, why not let people enjoy the things the like? there are a lot of fans of white, yet we get little to no support. At this point when I see cards like Linden or Syr Alin, while other color get plenty of value commanders, I can only think that your team hasn't found a creative way of doing it or worse, don't care to. Because set after set its the same illusion and disappointment.

popped the FUCK off playing commander Magic cards tonight lads. i still lost but it didn’t even feel bad

(this is gonna be a nonsensical post for 95% of my followers and i’m sorry)

i wish i had gotten a pic of the board state because it was bonkers. my girl(s) Trostani did every single thing she was supposed to do. we got Divine Visitation, Parallel Lives, Anointed Procession and Elemental Bond out. I guess my opponents just didn’t have any enchantment removal bc idk why they let me have all that otherwise?? i was making 16 angel tokens every turn with my two Elspeth’s. i got even more angels with every creature thanks to Oketra. I had to use Acidic Slime to blow up my own Elemental Bond so I didn’t mill myself out. at the end I had something like 800 life and 200 angel tokens on the battlefield. BONKERS!!

my one opponent was playing Feather though, and kept recurring Intimidation Bolt every turn so i couldn’t unleash the angel army. then he killed us all with a Paradox engine infinite combo. it didn’t even feel bad though because making 200 angels felt So Good it totally made up for it. also someone gave me the actual emblem cards for Elspeth! being the only not-a-man in the store is Scarey but thankfully everyone has been pretty nice so far and didn’t get mad when i took like a 15 minute turn making a bazillion angels and deciding which of the 35 cards in my hand i was gonna discard.

You can tell me about any source material (cultural or genre) you’d like to see serve as an inspiration for a set or any existing mechanical components or themes you’d like to see a set built around. Does the new Teysa Karlov cause Reveillark's leave-the-battlefield trigger to occur an additional time if it dies?

Yes, if it’s dying.

An ability that triggers when something “leaves the battlefield” doesn’t care about what zone that object is moving to, whereas an ability that triggers when something dies only cares about it moving from the battlefield to the graveyard.

Luckily, dying is a subset of leaving the battlefield so any “leaves the battlefield” abilities that trigger from a creature dying will trigger Teysa Karlov if she’s around.
