this is such an unbelievable scene because there's two realizations happening simultaneously:

eddie is having the realization that he was never really alone through this whole ordeal and there has always been a we with him and buck.

while on the other hand, buck is having the realization that in the end he truly always just ends up back where he started. alone.

youre telling me that eddie being shot was supposed to be a point of realisation for buck .

and buck pushing paramedics out of the way to hold him in the ambulance was romantic .

and the will scene was supposed to be a confession .

and 'higher forces ' are the reason for this being shut down + im assuming the significant distance between buck and eddie past s4 .

No bc what wrecks me it’s how sweet and respectful Tommy was. He guided Buck’s lips into his own but he didn’t pressure him, he gave him time and space to pull back if he wanted to. He didn’t grab him, nor did he deepen the kiss. Then they pulled back, and this man, with his entire heart in his hand, asked two times if it was okay, if that’s what Buck wanted, because picking up on signs can only go so far. And smiled when he explicitly told him yes. Only after did he straighten his shirt and ask him out.
