while i was away a 300 dollar autopay bill overdrafted my account and my bank just charged me overdraft fees for a week straight without telling me. then my rent payment bounced. and i got this eviction notice today. i'm 1700 in the hole so i would say i'm not having a good time right now

this is just where i'm at as of writing. my bank is going to charge even more overdraft fees soon & theres also going to be late fees on my other bills this month

my next paycheck is later this week but it's going to be ~400. idk the horrors are neverending. i am doing my best but anything at all helps

ngl im really uncomfortable the way Some Indie Game Creators respond to fandoms. like again, its great when stuff is supported and im glad we arent like, idk, anne rice lawsuit over fanfiction situation these days.

but like when i post fancontent on tumblr dot com that stuff is for me and other fans. the creator is not meant to see it. especially true with the horny content, and ESPECIALLY true when companies make tongue in cheek deroogatory comments towards these type of fans

but honestly there's a viscerally uncomfortable feeling seeing Companies comment on fandom trends and trying to integrate themselves in them. Its offputting when a company jumps on a fan content piece to link an advertisment. and its especially disconcerting to see creators engage in Vague Posting Tumblr Drama Energy

There's a great conversation about the boundaries with indie creation, and what it means for something to take off, and where the line is crossed where you're no longer just Another Creator Online and Someone Who Is Official. But at a bare minimum.... some stuff just shouldnt be done on a Company's Official Media Account. for propriety and just for like.... the unintentional power dynamic at play tbqh!
