With my own personal experiences from my last 2 months interacting with this community, I can confirm the twisted wonderland fandom is lying through their asses about caring about minorities, you dont.

It's the way you immediately start hassling and dragging some of us oppressed groups, especially when it comes to Black and Brown people, and issues of orientalism and transmisogyny. You don't actually wanna listen to minorities when we call something out, you care more about blindly praising a bigot just because they're talented than understanding why people are rightfully disgusted and mad.

This fandom did not at all made me as a dark skinned Chinese Sri Lankan fan comfortable or safe, I was forced to make my own space cause everywhere else as far as I could see where plain horrible people who think calling out issues counts as ""harassment"" when its far from the truth, I don't feel safe because I could easily get doxx because someone saw me posting about being frustrated or uncomfortable with any bigotry or xenophobia as "being toxic"

The behavior of most these fans makes me sick, you don't actually care about minorities. You never did.

hmm i don't like the gatekeeping vibes going on in the fandom right now

anyway people can interpret sonic characters however they want because sonic characters are furry aliens and that means every interpretation is true and one interpretation doesn't subtract from another's validity

i'm glad y'all are having fun and i genuinely love learning about different interpretations but please remember that it isn't fair to judge and vague other people for having a different interpretation to you
