Hey hey!

As many of you know, I had the pleasure of being a guest writer for @shadamyzine this year! You can check out my piece, "A Starry Interlude," by accessing the zine here. I will not be cross-posting to ao3 this time – I want to make sure you guys go see what everyone worked hard so hard to achieve!

I would also love to extend a huge thank you to the zine mods for all the time and effort hey put into this passion project. And the beautiful illustrations the talented pair of @nvrfearthefall and @ochako999 did definitely add so much more to my writing than I could ever hope to achieve on my own. You can enjoy their art both in the zine and at the end of this post!

As well, I owe a big and special thanks to @killingthecringe for helping me review my work and for always being one of the biggest voices of encouragement I receive when it comes to my writing.

We are beyond happy to announce that the wait is over. The Shadamy zine 'Under the Light of the Moon' is finally here! Given we've had the privilege to collaborate with so many talented artists and writers, we have no doubt you will enjoy the zine.

Hi! So I was doing some thinking and I thought it would be a lot of fun doing Shadamytober this year but I didn’t want to plan it out if I didn’t think people would be interested.

Shadamy Week 2023: Day 1 Immortality

She under goes physical changes.

It is because of her, that he is changed for the better.

A light shines on his cheek

Where his tears ducts will one day leak.

Man...I was kinda hesitant to post this ngl

"old" is in quotations because she'll never grow old to him! :)

I saw the immortality prompt and decided to not be normal about it felt like that was way too grand of a topic to cover in just one illustration or even a freaking comic. With time constraints looming over my head, I thought "You know what. Why don't I show you their entire lives together through a series of illustrations from their special place?" :)

Plus I get to practice foliage and painting different times of day!

The A is in light, while the S is more in shadow. Light/Shadow symbolism! :D

Oddly enough this was the simplest one I've done in terms of workflow.

Idk if I'll do the other two days but for now I shall rest. Not to mention help out with a zine! Woo!
