BMW S1000RR is a race oriented sport bike initially made by BMW Motorrad to compete in the 2009 Superbike World Championship, that is now in commercial production. It was introduced in Munich in April 2008, and is powered by a 999 cc (61.0 cu in) four-cylinder engine redlined at 14,200 rpm. Quick Facts Manufacturer, Production ... BMW made 1,000 S1000RRs in 2009 to satisfy World Superbike homologation requirements, but expanded production for commercial sale of the bike in 2010. It has a standard anti-lock braking system, with an optional electronic traction control. As of 2016, it has a wet weight of 204 kg (450 lb), and produces 148.4 kW (199.0 hp; 201.8 PS) at 13,500 rpm. With 133.6 kW (179.2 hp; 181.6 PS) to the rear wheel, it was the most powerful motorcycle in the class on the dyno. The S1000RR was released in 2009 and was considered the best-equipped sport bike in the 1000 cc category, and with a bore and stroke of 80.0 mm × 49.7 mm (3.1 in × 2.0 in), it also had the biggest bore in its class. The bike came factory fitted with ABS and dynamic traction control, a first for road-going superbike at the time. On top of this, it came standard with three riding modes (Wet, Sport and Race) with an additional riding mode (Slick) available only after connecting a dongle, that you received with the bike, to a special jack under the seat. It was also the first production motorcycle to offer an optional quick shifter. This is a clutchless shifter that allowed you to upshift with no clutch actuation even at full throttle. After the initial delivery of motorcycles the factory started shipping them with a software governor that limited RPM to 9000 for a short break in period that was later removed by the dealers. The 2011 bike remained unchanged, keeping the same livery options, engine, chassis and suspension. 2012 In 2012, the bike received slightly more significant changes. It was given a new face of the tachometer as well as new throttle maps for each of the four riding modes, to combat throttle response issues that customers were facing with the bike. To further aid this issue, BMW updated the throttle tube to be lighter and have a shorter pull.... https://www.instagram.com/p/CWF4IztJ4wewFrVGvvgUCW2BZVM5Um318XGffk0/?utm_medium=tumblr

Overview The XE hit the market for 2017 with a lot of promise: Its good looks and athletic moves had it vying to be our favorite in the small-luxury-sedan segment. However, it's an ultra-competitive segment, and since the XE's debut there have been two very strong new entrants—Alfa Romeo's sweet-driving Giulia and the all-around-excellent Genesis G70—along with a much-improved BMW 3-series. It's still a looker, and it drives well, although we miss the XE's strong 380-hp V-6 that's no longer available for 2020. What's left are two turbo four-cylinders—an entry-level P250 model with 247 horsepower or a P300 with 296 horsepower —that aren't class leading in either performance or efficiency, and its small back seat and trunk hinder the XE on the practicality front. A substantial update for 2020 adds upgraded interior materials and additional features, but still leaves the XE vying for mid-pack status. What's New for 2020? Included in the XE's significant update for 2020 are front and rear styling tweaks, including a larger front grille and redesigned rear diffuser. The base price jumps by about $3000 but comes with a host of additional content, including standard leather seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility (both of which were options before), as well as standard LED headlights, and upgraded interior materials. Also newly optional this year is Jaguar's latest InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system; it adds a second touchscreen that handles the climate-control system and other vehicle controls, as well as a digital gauge cluster, digital rearview mirror, and a wireless-charging pad for phones. The V-6 and diesel engine options are dropped for 2020. Jaguar has announced that the XE will not return to North America for the 2021 model year. Engine, Transmission, and Performance With the 380-hp supercharged V-6 and the diesel four-cylinder gone for 2020, the XE can no longer sprint to 60 mph in less than five seconds or achieve more than 40 mpg on the highway like it used to. What's left is a turbo four-cylinder in two power levels, 247 or 296 horsepower... https://www.instagram.com/p/CWCAT1_h_gzz68X2uZWhBQvXszueLKjGlPQ-FQ0/?utm_medium=tumblr

Overview The 2020 Mini Cooper is the quintessential Mini, with quirky styling and zippy handling. Available as a hardtop three- or five-door hatchback or a two-door convertible, every model features an upscale, comfy cabin if you're willing to pay for it. There are two trim levels for each variation of the Mini Cooper, with the more expensive of the two equipped with a more powerful and more desirable engine. The 2020 Mini Cooper comes standard with a 6.5-inch infotainment screen and Bluetooth connectivity. Although the base Mini starts at a reasonable $24,250, optional upgrades aren't cheap, and any hint of luxury will cost you. What's New for 2020? The Signature trim, available on the Hardtop model, adds extra features such as a seven-speed automatic transmission, LED headlights and fog lamps, and Mini's Active Driving Assistant, which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam headlights, and automated emergency braking. A cloth and faux-leather upholstery package in a two-tone black and gray theme joins the options list, as do new 18-inch two-tone wheels with run-flat tires. Engine, Transmission, and Performance The standard engine is a turbocharged 134-hp 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, which provides plenty of pep in this small, lightweight vehicle. All of the Minis in this line come with front-wheel drive and the brand's signature go-kart-inspired handling. These Minis are responsive and quick regardless of the engine, but S models come with a turbocharged 189-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder. With the larger engine, the S proved to be a little more than a second faster than the 1.5-liter engine in our zero-to-60-mph test, clocking in at 6.2 seconds. We found the automatic transmission shifts well, but the manual transmission is still our favorite. The firm suspension lends itself to enthusiast-oriented driving, which can make the Mini Cooper exciting, but it can be unforgiving on rough roads.. https://www.instagram.com/p/CWAXhRmJwj7KamVCWyH0yyihnz871kKLHvtEJY0/?utm_medium=tumblr

Overview For the most well-heeled among us, the average run-of-the-mill supercar may fall short of fulfilling our needs. If transportation with a six-figure price isn't exclusive enough for your tastes, there's the 2020 Bugatti Chiron. The Chiron costs almost $3 million, and it's about as exotic as hypercars get. With fluid curves and angrily squinting headlights, this coupe's exterior design communicates power and performance, and its standard 1500-hp engine endows it with acceleration capabilities worthy of a bullet train. The Chiron's cabin is deluxe, but storage space is minimal, and amenities such as driver-assistance technology and an infotainment screen are missing. While this Bugatti may not be the most accommodating choice for something as mundane as a daily commute, it excels as a head-turning lust object and all-around performance machine. What's New for 2020? Bugatti adds a couple new variants to the Chiron lineup for the 2020 model year. The Chiron Sport 110 Ans Edition is based on the Chiron Sport, and it was created to pay homage to the brand's 110-year anniversary. It features a two-tone exterior color scheme and accents that employ the tricolor French flag. Only 20 of these very special models will be built. Bugatti also welcomes the Super Sport 300+ to the Chiron's roster, and only 30 of them will be offered to the public. The 2020 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ has nearly the same specs as the car that set a world record by reaching a speed of 304.773 mph at the Ehra-Lessien test track in Germany, and it's motivated by a 1578-hp engine. A handling-focused model called Pur Sport will join the lineup in the second half of 2020. Engine, Transmission, and Performance The Chiron, Chiron Sport, and Chiron Super Sport 300+ are motivated by an 8.0-liter 16-cylinder powerplant. This beast of an engine employs four turbochargers to generate a mighty 1500 horsepower and 1180 lb-ft of torque. Bugatti claims that the Chiron makes the dash from zero to 60 mph in a mere 2.3 seconds, and it has a top speed of 261 mph. If the Chiron's standard engine doesn't quench your thirst for speed, step up to the Chiron Super Sport 300+. https://www.instagram.com/p/CWACAroJ4nFnMnAw3Ge_YwcOThgljIii7kozGg0/?utm_medium=tumblr

Overview There's nothing quite like hearing the thrilling timbre of a throbbing exhaust note or feeling the gratifying feedback from a superbly tuned steering system while flying down a twisty road. Few affordable cars offer both these satisfying sensations, but the Chevy Camaro is one of them. It's not focused solely on being loud and going fast, however—even though it does both of those tasks very well. Chevy's two-door pony car comes as a coupe or convertible, and it offers copious features and countless personalization options. While the 650-hp Camaro ZL1 is the most raucous version—and reviewed separately—every model from the base four-cylinder to the V-6 to the V-8 can be enhanced for track duty with the transformational 1LE package. Sure, the interior can feel claustrophobic and has several other quirks, but the 2021 Chevy Camaro is primarily geared towards those who love to drive. Like us. What's New for 2021? Chevy improves the 2021 Camaro with some different color options, new features, and wider transmission availability. While Rally Green metallic and Garnet Red Tintcoat have been removed from the paint palette, Wild Cherry Tincoat is now offered—for extra coin. All models now come with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which means the app can be streamed to the car's infotainment system without needing to be plugged in. The track-oriented 1LE package is now available with the 10-speed automatic transmission on V-8-powered SS models. Previously, all 1LEs (except for the ZL1 1LE) were offered only with a six-speed manual. Engine, Transmission, and Performance The base 275-hp four-cylinder isn't slow—we tested a manual model that proved surprisingly quick. But uneven throttle responses and unpleasant, unsporting sounds accompanied its dull demeanor. On the other hand, upgrading to the 335-hp V-6 completely changes the car's character. The gutsy six has its own distinctly searing soundtrack. The Camaro LT1 and SS feature Chevy's iconic small-block V-8, with 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. Its tremendous low-end torque, linear power delivery, and chest-compressing.... https://www.instagram.com/p/CWABGXgpPFiFMpHJOnWwWRlDIen6LbZguf6IdY0/?utm_medium=tumblr

Overview With a fire-breathing 650-hp supercharged V-8 and ferocious track capabilities, the 2021 Chevy Camaro ZL1 is the king of monster muscle cars. Sure, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 have horsepower ratings that start with seven, but the bow-tie beast delivers similar thrills for fewer green bills. In fact, if the mid-engine Corvette didn't exist, the ZL1 could perhaps be called the world's greatest performance value, which is why it's an Editors' Choice winner. Regardless, the Camaro perfects the front-engine, rear-drive formula inherent to muscle cars. While both the coupe and convertible have a remarkable chassis that's more clairvoyant than Miss Cleo, unleashing the ultimate Camaro requires the transformative 1LE track package, but beware that it makes the suspension very stiff. If you can overlook the Chevy's flawed interior, the 2021 Camaro ZL1 can be more exciting than a roller coaster, and it'll regularly reward thrill-seekers and track rats alike. ADVERTISEMENT - CONTINUE READING BELOW What's New for 2021? There are only a couple changes to the Camaro ZL1 lineup for 2021. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration are now on its roster of features, and Chevy offers a new extra-cost paint color: Wild Cherry. Still, it makes the ZL1 hard to live with every day because the upgraded suspension is very stiff. Instead, we'd simply add the performance data and video recorder for capturing the days we're brave enough to bring this 650-hp hellion to the racetrack. Engine, Transmission, and Performance The Camaro's supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 is a well-behaved and tractable beast that makes power all over the rev range and leaves black streaks all over the road. 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe |    Hyundai's best-selling SUV is getting an all-new design in 2019. The former Hyundai Santa Fe Sport now takes up the mantle of the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, making the five-passenger SUV the new baseline for the Santa Fe family. The three-row, seven-passenger Santa Fe will now be the Santa Fe XL, and a new three-row, eight-passenger Santa Fe is currently in development. While there's so much new to consider with the Hyundai Santa Fe, let's take a look at some of its many highlights.  The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is available at seven trim levels: SE, SEL, SEL Plus, Limited, Limited 2.0T, Ultimate, and Ultimate 2.0T.  INTERIOR As is to be expected from the Hyundai Santa Fe line, the 2019 Santa Fe is full of luxurious and intuitive interior features. A 7-inch display audio system comes standard with the Santa Fe, but can be swapped out for an Infinity® Premium Audio system with 12 speakers. The Santa Fe SEL trim ads heating to the front seats, while the Ultimate edition of the Santa Fe brings that heating function to the rear seats. Performance The latest Hyundai Santa Fe model only has one standard powertrain. However, that performance engine manages to deliver quite a bit of power. The 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine the Hyundai Santa Fe comes equipped with delivers 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. Couple that with the standard eight-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® technology, and there are few terrains that the Hyundai Santa Fe can't master.  Safety The latest Hyundai Santa Fe model only has one standard powertrain. Overview Among the more affordable options in the electric-vehicle marketplace, the 2021 Tesla Model 3 is, without doubt, the one with the most name recognition. It also earns a spot on our Editors' Choice list. It borrows some styling cues from the company's Model S sedan and Model X SUV, but goes its own way with a unique interior design and an all-glass roof. Acceleration is quick, and the Model 3's chassis is playful as well—especially the Performance model's, which receives a sportier suspension and a track driving mode. But EV buyers are more likely interested in driving range than speediness or handling, and the Model 3 delivers there too. The base model offers up to 263 miles of driving range according to the EPA, and the more expensive Long Range model can go up to 353 per charge. https://www.instagram.com/p/CVz4L74hzvNvb392vMTYfq5rQXtkSi2STiLgWk0/?utm_medium=tumblr
