Applying Korean visa from Taiwan

I just went back from my 5 days trip to Korea, but i will not talk about the trip here instead I will talk how i applied for the visa from Taiwan. Where to go for applying Korean visa in Taiwan is Korean mission office in Taipei ( Suite 1506, 15F, No. 333, Sec.1, Keelung Rd., Taipei 11012 )

At first me and my friend were trying to find the visa document requirement through online but we couldn’t find clear answer. My friend then decided to email the office ( taipei@mofa.go.kr ). And here is the answer she got:

What you have to take note, it requires the applicant had been stayed in Taiwan for at least 1 year. Tbh im curious what’s the reason behind this requirement 😁Since im a student for the document which proves my status shown on ARC I submitted statement letter from my school. Luckily to get that statement letter is so convenient in my school haha i just need to print it from the vending machine in the registrar office of my school.

After prepared all the required documents, you have to come by yourself to the office to submit the document. Don’t forget to fill the form correctly and completely, also make sure all the required documents are complete. After make sure everything is OK, then submit it to the visa section. The frontline officer will re-check the completeness of your documents, then you have to pay the fee and you will get receipt as the ticket to pick up your visa later. The process takes 5 working days (let’s say 1 week include Saturday and Sunday). While waiting to pick up the result, you can monitor your visa application status through Korea Visa Portal (https://www.visa.go.kr/openPage.do?MENU_ID=10301).

I applied for the visa on January, 2019. The requirement might be updated, so the best way is directly contact them before applying for your visa.

I had so much fun during my trip in Korea. I love the food, it is also so convenient moving from one place to another. Good luck if you’re going to apply for your Korean visa  😄

2018 Water Summer Camp - Taiwan

July, 16-18 2018

One day, on a hot summer day, I got an email that I got accepted to join a summer camp in Taipei. Im so excited of course bcs I’ll have an additional activity during my boring summer holiday while waiting for my summer course begin.

This activity is 2018 Water Summer Camp, held by Taiwan International Institute for Water Education and National Taiwan University. This activity is sponsored by Water Resources Planning Institute of Taiwan.

The participants are foreigner students from all over taiwan with related major such as hydrology, civil engineering, environmental engineering etc. In this camp, we do discussion about water environment condition, challenges, and opportunity between taiwan and participants's country. We do also visit some water related infrasructures, here those are

This is a multipurpose dam that act as reservoir, power supply, flood prevention and as well as recretional area. I can't give detail technical story but Wikipedia does you can  learn more detail from there hehe. This place is very beautiful, you can note this place as one of your option of tourism destination if you’re around Taoyuan. There is an office building near the monument where you can get information about the dam and they also provide film about the hostory of the dam. The participants got a chnace to have a ferry trip around the reservoir with solar based power ship.

This place is very interesting for me, yea bcs this is my first time knowing this kind of infrastucture, a new intetersting knowledge. Long short story, this infrastructure help prevent Nothern Taiwan area from flooding caused by typhoon by throwing the excess water through a tunnel.

So, this place is where the domestic wastewater from wanna one's lai guan lin house goes and being treated here before it discharge to the water body haha (ok don’t believe this bcs i don’t know where’s excactly guanlin’s house hehe). 

The history is in the past time banks of Dahan creek turned into garbage dump bcs of the growing population. In 1992, the new Taipei city goverment relocate this area and in 2003 the wetland was constructed. It was finished in 2009. This is interesting, because instead of using wastewater treatment plant, they use constructed wetland that also can become a recreational&educational area in the river bank. Also I marked unique thing here is they put a barcode on the tree in this area, so ppl can just scan it, and snap here u get the info about the tree. Wow ok we're living in high tech era now.

There is also wetland house near this area where u can study about the wetland and also have fun at the same time bcs they provide many interesting activity, and the good news is it's free to come there. I think this place is suitable for kids to learn about river ecology

10th River Basin Management Bureau office 

This office is the command center on operation of all flood control devices, include Shihmen and Fetsui reservoirs, gate of levee and pumping stations. They offer public service about river regulation and flood plain management. Their mission is of course to make sure people in Taipei area will live without fear of flood. What's cool here is people in this office do not working alone, there are citizen volunteers whos actively repot the water condition around the area.

What I like is this is my first time joining an event here where the organizer considering so much about what the participants eat. They provide halal food for moslem participant, im so happy for this they even provide "rengginang" and "peyek" like omg where they found this haha.

We also got a very cozy accomodation. We were nomaden actually but my fav one is when we stayed at Chientan Youth Activity Center bcs I got a room with beautiful view of Shilin District hehe.

It was nice I can meet many insprirational friends, experts and professors in this event. Thank u for the organizers for helding this activity so i can have "berfaedah" thingy during my summer holiday ^^

Hiiiiiii!!!!! I am back!

More than 1 year had passed sice my last post, im living in Hsinchu right now. I started moving here since September 2017.

That photo that include a beautiful rainbow was taken in the end of September last year from the 5th floor of my departement building.

I bought #NCT127 Cherry Bom album and got Winwin photocard. Actually my favorite members are Taeil and Doyoung and I wished to get one of their photocard at first. But tbh I LOVE ALL OF THEM I CANT REALLY DECIDE WHO'S MY BIAS AND I BELIEVE MOST OF NCTZENS JUST FEEL THE SAME, so it's okay whoever photocard I got 😊 The message behind winwin's photocard is: 여러분 우리 127새로윤 앨범 나오는데. 너무 열심히준비했으니. 여러분 많이 응윈해주면 좋겠어요. translation: Everyone, our 127 new album has been out. We've worked so hard. I wish you have lots of fun. I really love this cherry bom album concept, it's sweet and manly at the same time. All the members look so handsome in this album. My favorite songs are cherry bom (of course), 0 mile and summer 127. When you hear cherry bom for the first time, you might feel this song is weird and your ears couldn't accept the melody easily. But trust me it will get stuck in your head after you hear it for severals time. The song is unique and for me it can cheer up my day, so when I got bored/sad I will hear this song again and again. So far here the list of my fav NCT127's songs: 1. Paradise 2. Once again 3. Switch (feat SRB15) 3. Limitless 4. Angel 5. Cherry bom 6. 0 mile 7. Summer 127 All their songs are actually so nice and I like it ❤ There's rumor that nct 127 will have comeback on November, but it's still a rumor and it might not nct 127 but another new unit (?)

Bandung's Vibes I visited Bandung yesterday but it was for only 17 hours. I had a test in the morning, then I visited my friend who was doing her graduate thesis hoho like OMG I still prepare for my graduate school entrace meanwhile she has almost finished her graduate school 😂😂😂. In the evening, before I went back to Surabaya, I just wandered alone at cihampelas terrace and cihampelas walk, those places are very cozy to spend your weekend 🖒🖒

Rumah Jamoer

What do you think when you hear about rumah jamoer (eng: mushroom house)? Do you expect about a mushroom cultivation center or maybe mushroom farmer association? Congratulation! You’re not alone 😁 because a lot of people just taught the same at first when they heard “rumah jamoer”. But here, I wanna introduce to you what is “rumah jamoer” 😊

Rumah jamoer is a community enganged in the field of children protection movement based on Sampang, Madura. It was founded in 2013 by 2 amazing girls, Fatima and Nafizah. Nafizah is a children protection activist. She was intrigued about children protection issues since when she was a high school student.

In summer holiday 2013, Nafizah and Fatima met and was discussing about their interest in children protection based on their own experiences and the condition around them like the difficulities of the children to access book and the exposure of malicious contents from the internet. They then decided to developed a mini-library at Fatima’s house in Pangongseyan village. They collected the books by helding a book charity from their friends. The aim of this mini-library is to provide a fun and save place for the children around that area where they can study and play there. After that, Nafizah and Fatima planned an event to celebrate the national children day at 23rd July in Nafizah’s neighborhood and they invited their high school friends to create this event together. The event contains of some competitions like drawing competition  and traditional game competition; talent show and writing letter for parents. From this event, Nafizah and Fatima then dicided to make a community for the sustainability of this program where they and their other friends can regularly making programs for the children protection. Rumah Jamoer (mushroom house) was decided to be the community name, with the meaning of this name is just like a mushroom cap (pileus) which can protect something below it, Rumah Jamoer’s member hope this community can protect the children for a better future.

Until now, Rumah Jamoer has carried out many activities, and they did it at least once a month. They update their activities in their social media. If you migh interest of it you can check it here.

I write this post about the history of Rumah Jamoer based on my experiences with this community, the plot might be not accurate and I am sorry if it happen. And tbh I am so sad and feel so sorry bcs I couldn’t join this community actively nowadays. But I am always rooting for you all guys ^^

Me as a fangirl, haha

Actually this is late, but I am writing this post to celebrate #5yearswithexo and for bonus #1yearwithnctu. Hehe lol

I am an EXO-L, but tbh I did not like EXO from their debut time. Like we know EXO debuted at 8th april 2012. At that time, I was like “what is this???” and everything just went away without I noticed more about this group. But when their comeback in 2014 with “으르렁” song, I was like “omg omg WHAT IS THIS? THIS IS SO DAMN GOOD. WHERE I HAVE BEEN?”. I can help, but fall in love with them haha.

Some dramas followed exo’s journey but how then I fall deeper into this fandom haha. It is unexpected but also fun to be able have some friends from around the world bcs of this fandom haha. For me they all are so entertaining. During I was working for my final project at the college, exo is one of my main sources of happiness haha. It was happened a lot, when I got something bad then I would cry a lot and then I re-watched exo showtime, I was laughing as much as I want and then after that I felt much better. It is weird but it was happened to me 😂

And now it has been 3 years since I become EXO’s fangirl. Hope you guys will keep shining. It must be not easy to be an idol, I know you guys migh suffered a lots but your fans will always support you huhu 😄😄

Pengalaman Menggunakan EMS Pos Indonesia

Mau sharing pengalaman ngirim dokumen ke luar negeri pake EMS nih. Jadi kan ceritanya aku lagi mau ngirim dokumen ke Korea. Korea Selatan ya maksudnya, tanah air oppa. Awalnya aku nanya-nanya dulu ke orang-orang kantor make apa yang recommended. Mereka terus nyaranin kalo ga pake F***x aja atau **L, kalo di kantor sendiri sih langganan make F***x. Dibilangin juga kalo mau bisa pake EMS Pos Indonesia, harganya lebih murah cuman kantor pernah ada pengalaman gaenak sama EMS ini. Jadi dulu pernah ngirim dokumen ke Eropa tapi nyampenya lama ga sesuai janji huhu.

Akhirnya Sabtu pagi udah siap nih mau ngirim dokumennya, udah dibungkus rapi siap kirim. Niatnya sih mau ngirim make F***x, eh tapi pas nyampe kantor F***x Mulyosari Surabaya ternyata tutup. Galau kan. Yauda akhirnya mampir minimarket dulu, mikir2 sama sambil googling soal EMS. Banyak yang ngasih review ga bagus sih, tapi ada juga yang ngasih review bagus. Tapi akhirnya yauda dengan mencoba berhusnudzon ke pos aja deh pake EMS hehehe. Berangkatlah ke Kantor Pos Cabang yang ada di FKG UNAIR.

Alhamdulillah pas regis lancar2 aja. Disuruh ngisi data pengirim, data alamat yang dituju sama deskripsi barang yang dikirim. Ngisinya make bahasa Inggris. Biaya kirim dokumennya ke korea (berat dokumen yang aku kirim 227 gram) 14,3$ = IDR 197k. EMS express estimasi nyampenya 4-7 hari kata mbak petugasnya.

Yauda terus pulang kan, tinggal nunggu gimana kedepannya, haha.

Jadi aku ngirim dokumennya ke Pos 04/03/2017 Aku cek 06/03/2017 ternyata udah di JKT Selasa cek tetap aja, Rabu tetep aja.. Tapi alhamdulillah 09/03/2017 pagi ternyata udah sampe ke TKP huhu. Kalo diitung-itung emang bener 4 hari nyampe (kepotong minggu kan libur).

Jadi kalo menurutku pake EMS recommended kok. Asal ga buru2 amat pake EMS jadinya enak lebih murah. hehe. Mudah dijangkau juga soalnya kantor pos kan lumayan banyak cabangnya. Tapi saran aja mending ke kantor posnya yang agak gede. Yauda sekian ceritanya, aku bukan agen pos indonesia atau ada hubungan keluarga sama orang pos lho ya wqwqwq, cuman mau sharing aja, semoga memberikan info yang bermanfaat ^^

I am not a BTS fan actually. I used to listen to their music but I do not put much attention on the members. But this oppa catch my attention lately. He is an idol with that kind of busy schedule but he still can finish his undergarduate degree and now he is continuing his master degree in Hanyang. Yeah even it is in the cyber university. But I just feel so proud of him 😂 *wkwkwkwk And me... Still struggling to get a scholarship for my master degree~~ I just can keep trying, put my best effort and pray for this, hoping the best result will come in the right time soon 😊😊

Travelling alone I visited Jakarta last month for a business trip for 4 days and that was actually my first time travelling alone, wqwqwq. I felt so excited tbh. I had a half day free at that time and I spent it by traveling alone around the national monumen bcs it was near my hotel. Wqwq. I wanted to visit GI at first, but I didn't want to burn my money there haha. In the national monumen I just took a lot of selfie, walking here and there, and finally I decided to buy "Soto Betawi". And I found the epic thing that the Soto Betawi seller is actually from Madura, and most of the food seller there are from Madura 😁😁 Travelling alone is so fun actually. Can't wait for another chance 😊

170208 Just got my first experience flying with Garuda Indonesia. The price is reasonable bcs the flight is so comfort. And I did stupid thing like standing in the business class line (of course I'am on economy class) but lucklily I reliazed it before someone noticed. But thanks to the God for this good chance.
