the problem with the heart system on SFS is that if i'm downloading a lot of stuff to see if i like it in my game, then i am not going to be asked to go back to every single link *after* i've closed it out. so instead i just like on tumblr, but usually that's it because i don't trust y'all's weird asses to not say something odd when i make a comment on anything at all, praise or criticism. and this patreon situation didn't help at all 😭

i can't stand early access, truthfully, but there's people who did early access, and immediately changed it when it was thought it was banned, and then there's everyone else. still fuck FOMO though <3

fun fact, if you're an active community member who isn't a faceless asshole, people will give you money <3 people have paid for less they will definitely pay for a quality experience & content

i don’t want to be controversial but the problem is that early access should be a “paying patreons are beta testers” kind of thing and not a “i’ll keep things in early access for months, here you have your pride month themed cc released in august”

the community needs to start holding creators accountable and maybe be more supportive of creators that never paywall their content at all. that’s my hot take, idk.

hey! so i’m not by any means a big sims blog or anything lol but i’m still sort of hoping this will be spread around to help others!

basically, i’ve compiled a list below of a bunch of cc creators that i personally think are really helpful for creating weird/cryptic/monster/horror sims or general occult stuff, as i rlly love making my silly little monster sims and i’m sure there are many others who do too and are on the lookout for some related cc!

feel free to add on to this post with your own recommendations!!!

@gerbithats - this creator makes very unique supernatural/occult cc, mainly presets such as some of my personal favourites, their bat noses and ears! they also make general accessories and poses for your supernatural needs, so i highly recommend! my vampires have never looked better thanks to them <3

@zaneida-and-sims4 - okay. this creator has some of the most insane and slightly bizarre things you will ever see, and so many of their creations honestly seemed too good to be true before i tried them out in-game, but WOW. they have easily become one of my go to creators for making some creepy baddies. they make a variety of presets, accessories, hair, etc for basically every single occult in the game, but their plantsim and alien cc seems to be the most popular (and are personally my favourite!) here are some more general suggestions because i have way too much to recommend: antennae, horns, antlers, web mermaid tail, web ears, tentacles mermaid tail, flower head, snail eyes, head branches

@ssspringroll - another creator that makes some super bizarre (but amazing) presets like elongated limbs, freaky hands, triple boobies , cyclops eyes and so much more! i also really recommend their simblreen collab pack with @grimguide! it comes with 62 occult/monster related items and presets!!!

which brings me to the next creator lol..

@grimguide - as their bio says, the cc they focus on creating is “occult, cartoon, and just over all strange!” which is completely true! they make hair usually from anime, games, etc and lots of very funky cc including but not limited to; ears, skin, and random but super fun presets! they have the most creative mind ever when it comes to making creatures B))

@valentinakarlova - aka “gengar used lick”

if you are bored of making regular mermaids and wanna spice things up a little, this creator is perfect for you. they make SO many incredible tails and accessories for turning your “mermaids” into different sea creatures, such as sea slugs, sea dragons, nixies, crabs, etc!!! they also make other items for non mermaids (general occults, furries, etc!) such as my personal favourites on this post , this post aaand this post

@saruin - this creator makes a lot of very cute creations but also some unique body horror accessories and (honestly adorable) monster presets like this set. my personal favourites of their creations are their demon teeth, shoulder teeth, rotten flesh skin and anti-scurvy horns !

@pyxiidis - i feel like this is a pretty obvious one for absolutely anything occult related, but they’re just too important to leave out. i don’t think i have EVER made a sim without using at least one of their creations. their intergalactic and interstellar collections are a must have, as well as their plantsim overlays. also, mermaid stuff, furry skin, spider stuff, fairy/bug stuff

@shandir - some must have ear presets for vampires, some horns, etc. this creator makes a lot of different awesome occult cc that you just have to check out! i think some of their stuff is still a wip but so far their creations have been awesome!

@moonchildlovesthenight - this creator has some of the coolest and unique sims ever imo, and they are a genius when it comes to making terrifying creatures. i honestly mainly look at their posts for inspiration, but their cc is amazing and very realistic, even their occult stuff. these contacts are gorgeous and have so many options for different occult sims. this collection is perfect for making zombies, this one for fairies/nymphs, this one for vampires and this one for wolves. more random collections i recommend: 1, 2

@sewersims - do you want just straight up terrifying, gory shit for your sims? same. this is why i LOVE and highly recommend this creator. they make some horrifying but beautiful creations like these tendrils, these head and arm spikes, this skin overlay, these claws, etc. they honestly make the sims look like a horror game.

@nv-games - another creator that just knows exactly what they’re doing when it comes to horror. i personally love these face scars and these, these glowing eyemasks and this monster nose overlay which i use on all my werewolves to give them a more scary look!

@mosneakers - this beautiful cottage trinkets jewelry set is perfect for spellcasters, fairies, elves, etc! check it out! (thank you for your comment <3)

@feralpoodles - this creator doesn’t focus on making occult stuff usually, but they have made quite a few things in the past that i find extremely useful! like this medusa hair, dryad set, arachne hair, nature witch hat, raven companion, bat wings, nature horns, etc!

@nsves - i get so much inspiration just looking through these creators posts honestly, their sims are unique and always adorable, but the great thing is, they make cc too! they mainly make facepaint which is SUPER useful for aliens (or anything else that you can think of!) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

@crowsmodhell - okay so i only recently found out about this creator but i’m already in shock at how creative they are! if you like furries or just want some more furry cc for your game, then PLEASE check them out. you can find a post with their sfs links here! they’ve also made some fandom related stuff like this amazing gardevoir (pokémon) set, pikachu set, enderman set, my little pony set, etc!

@astya96cc - there is a huge variety of content that you can get from this creator, but my personal favourites and the reason i’m putting them on this is are their simblreen collections. if you’re a fan of mortal kombat like me, then trust when i say that you will ADORE their cc. you can find some of these sets here, here and here. they also make lingerie and clothes that are perfect for occult sims!

@mimoto-sims - from cyberpunk to dead by daylight, you can count on this creator for making accurate and beautiful outfits, accessories, and more from all your favourite horror franchises. they also make lots of terrifying build/buy collections which are extremely useful for creating spooky builds!

@dansimsfantasy - literally so much of their cc is a must have in my game, especially when it comes to making elves, fairies, mermaids or just general fantasy sims. here are some random collections that i use in my game and highly suggest you check out: elven outfit1, elven outfit2, cyborg accessory, aquarius set, steampunk set, orca mermaids, more mermaid stuff, nymph set, betta fish tails

@divadoom - another fantastic creator that makes incredibly unique cc for occults/fantasy sims/etc! i ADORE all of their items, but these are some i use in-game for making aliens, fairies, elves, etc: droopy ears, moth antennae, dangly antennae, long loopy ears, teles ears
