Mindful eating ritual practice to welcome more pleasure in life
How to truly savour good food. It’s a simple but powerful ritual where you can pause and focus fully on the food—the colours, textures, smells, and even the emotions each bite stirs.
Pause and really look at what’s on my plate.
Take a moment to feel grateful for everything and everyone that made this meal possible
Smell the food and notice any associations or memories it sparks.
Savor each bite slowly, tuning into the flavors, textures, and feelings.

Peace begins within the Mind of the individual. cultivating Inner Peace is the first step toward creating Outer Peace. Just as a calm lake reflects the sky clearly, a calm Mind reflects a peaceful heart, and that heart can influence those around.
World Peace is about steady, personal change and Individual Transformation. Each one of us has the power to contribute to a more peaceful world through Self-awareness, Compassion, and inner transformation.

"It occurs to me as I fight so hard with myself that these cruel and persistent voices are the echoes of trauma from the times when people treated me like I am now treating myself. And that, perhaps, it is possible to close an inner door and shut out voices that are not mine. In the last light of a long day, I sit on a chair on my porch and watch the sky drain colors down and out and I realize I want to hear my voice and only mine. Not the voice of my voice within a cacophony of old pains. Just mine, now." - Jenny Slate, Little Weirds Art by Fumihiro Kato aka 加藤文博 aka Kato Fumihiro (Japanese, b. 1958, Kyoto, Japan, based Yao-city, Japan) - Original Art 2, Paintings- Oil on Canvas

Modern festival culture
Tumblr media
The growing festival culture nowadays is a direct representation of the lack of tribe consciousness, that has been lost for thousands of years. There is a primordial need to belong to a tribe or group in all us humans. This is a survival, basic instinct need that we all must be aware of. If this is not brought into our conscious minds, we can face the terrible fact that our will and power will be deeply conditioned by our unconscious. Most of our choices will be deeply impacted by this primordial survival longing.
There is also a deeper and darker correlation that most of us do not associate with this festival culture. Which is the colonization aspect. Most of us know that almost all the festivals that are organized today, have nothing to do with human connection at all. Almost all of them use this “human longing to belong to a group” to make money or capitalize on this toxic economic culture of human disconnection. But if we even dig deeper, most of these so-called festivals are just capitalizing on slave labor with full agreement of the humans involved. Most of these organizations grow on volunteer work from humans. It’s impossible to use the word volunteer when you are a for-profit organization. This subverts the most fundamental principle of volunteering work. The organizations get your time and energy and does not give you anything in exchange (except maybe for the fact that you can attend their event for free as they advertise). Or if they do, it’s always a very deep disproportional energetic exchange. So we have a big organization, which is making millions in profit and not sharing almost anything with the local community. Basically, this can be seen as a modern aspect of colonization. The big difference here is that it’s really not about the land or territory like in ancient times when the west forced their way and culture onto indigenous cultures. But it’s now about the inner spiritual aspect. These organizations are coming in and colonizing us through our ego minds, and our sense of belonging. This is also directly proportional to this external validation society that we live in today. Also, the lack of self worthiness in most of us today, makes us give away our most precious gift which is time and energy to these economic extraction entities, that have no face or moral values whatsoever.
There is another aspect of this festival culture that is not talked about. Which is the energetic bubble that it creates for a few days. And gives you the illusion of tribe and connection. This is all amazing, but it’s really not real at all. Just creates and feeds you a bit on that deep hunger for tribe which is ingrained really deep in your subconscious mind. Basically, this feeds you breadcrumbs of illusionary connection. And when the festival ends, you just go back to your mundane life of individualism and consumerism. This is done so that the hunger for more is always there. And next month or next year you go back to that bubble. This just creates an endless loop of perpetual scarcity and inner depletion on all of us. Never leaving any space in the collective consciousness to create something real and sustainable in terms of human connection. We just stay on the surface and never actually have enough energy and will to go any deeper.
I sincerely hope we can do better in the coming years. Humans need to become aware of this deep loss of tribe in the past and somehow recover it again, with a different level of awareness. We are unique beings in this vast universe, and we have immense potential to manifest our true amazing and loving nature in this beautiful planet. Let’s become aware of our basic instincts and not let ourselves be ruled by them. Let us manifest local communities where we can create local events, that promote inclusion, connection, creativity and tribe consciousness.

I praise the beloved! She is everywhere Everything comes from her Everything will go back to her There is no escape even if you don´t want to see and feel her Even if your asleep In your own numbness One day you will fall You will go back to her darkness She will comfort you in her womb I see her in your face everyday.

Pain is a call for relief, it is a call to release the heaviness, to release the burdens we carry, to free the energy, to get into the flow, to let go of what isn't ours to carry. We carry pain that is our own & pain that isn't ours & both call us to release it, to let it be transformed through us.

"Trauma that has not been processed, through feeling, doesn’t go away. ("You have to feel it to heal it.") It carries on rolling through the generations and intensifies with each generation, until someone eventually makes it conscious, takes responsibility by feeling the feelings and together with the unconscious re-writes the narrative. This is deep, effective healing rather than just putting a bandage on the wounds."

From Siglio Press’s Tantra Song, one of the only books to survey the elusive tradition of abstract Tantric painting from Rajasthan, India.
Rendered by hand on found pieces of paper and used primarily for meditation, the works depict deities as geometric, vividly hued shapes and mark a clear departure from Tantric art’s better-known figurative styles. They also resonate uncannily with lineages of twentieth-century art—from the Bauhaus and Russian Constructivism to Minimalism—as well as with much painting today. Rarely have the ancient and the modern come together so fluidly. -Paris review
