SO I'd like to start this by saying that this will be a long ramble as I think this is a good conversation to have, so if you're only interested in being dismissive feel free to just comment a snarky "mucho texto" and leave.

If this truly isn't a call to harassment why are you publicly making a post exposing this person's alt private account followed by "We do NOT allow disgusting people in the fandom, get out"? Your intentions are crystal clear and honestly they disgust me, specially when seeing that pride flag on your username, and no it's not for transphobic reasons.

First, who does this content harm? It's locked away behind a private account, one where minors are not allowed, plus there is no study (that I could find) that talks about content of this nature being harmful to society in any way shape or form outside of personal discomfort. So why then expose this art to the public where minors can see it? "I and others find it icky" is not a valid response, there's a ton of sexual content I can find on the internet that I find icky and uncomfortable, a lot of it being stuff that is not only common but also widely accepted yet would it be fair for me to make a callout post on someone for- say- having a private account where they post vore art? Of course not. SO why would that be ridiculous but this isn't?

Art depicting social taboos has existed since the dawn of time, many of it containing incest and far more explicit depictions of it and yet the world continues to go round. As a personal example, a friend happened to gift me a copy of "Henshin Emergence" a hentai manga that contains a chapter where the teenage protagonist gets sa'd by her father, I've read it and yeah it was uncomfortable but my day still went on after that, I still did my daily chores and activities with no interferance or "desire" for something like that to happen to me, and this should be everyone else's reaction

"so why would they draw it if not for endorsement?" a myriad of reasons really. A coping mechanism from trauma related to the subject, a fascination with the topic and social taboo, the fact these characters have more developed interactions than any other and thusly have more of a proper dynamic than let's say something like Mario x Peach, a desire to have someone love them so much they'd break social norms and dip into taboos just for the sake of being with this individual, they just felt like it... I could keep going and none of it is "because they support incest irl".

this is "An allegory with Venus and Cupid" by Angolo Bronzino. It doesn't take an art Historian to surmize that this painting depicts a rather explicit act of incest between mother and son, and yet it's accepted. Why is that?

There are many readings one could take from this piece, from the worried figures in the background to the man covering up the two lovers with a blue cloth from the euphoric little cherub waltzing into the scene a common interpretation many have of this artwork is that the main act is clearly something forbidden something to be concealed and yet there are many positive markers as there are negative ones. The man's cloth is blue a color often used to indicate calmness, peace and tranqulity, there's a white dove close to Cupid's foot a well accepted symbol of peace and purity, the theathre masks often used in paintings to symbolise an act or play. One could very well come to the conclusion this painting depicts an incestuous act in a positive and even desireable light, and yet it's allowed to be displayed and admired by many who choose to do so at a prestige art gallery and much like an art gallery goer moves on from peices that disinterest them, you should block and scroll away as opposed to making a public fuss.

To argue the value of certain artwork as more "worthy" or "pure" is to fall under the book burning fascist rethoric that has plagued our society and is now making a comeback thanks to many real word events I'm sure you, op would consider to be terrible.

Op, you are a queer individual and yet pedel the same pro censorship idelogy the people that want you and other queer people (myself included) gone and their media banned.

"but we just want that bad art to be gone not queer art" Censorship does NOT stop at your personal sensibilities. In the eyes of fascists incest Mario fanart and a vanilla non-sexual coming of age queer story are one in the same.

Notice how the work of someone that shared the nazi ideology of the time was STILL displayed at this exhbition dedicated to mocking art that was "against the German spirit". What you are doing op is more or less the same, you are appealing to an audience that does not care about you, and never will.

I don't want ot hear cries about how "this isn't that serious" which 1) if that's the case why publish the callout in the first place and 2) this is the exact ideology you are (albeit unintentionally) supporting.

I also don't want to hear about how this isn't targeted, it is, if it wasn't you'd be talking about the topic of shipping incest as a whole within this fandom as opposed to of targetting some random popular artist you feel owes you their art, because this is what it is, a gross, parasocial relantionship with artists that produce art you enjoy and if that is the case you should revalue this mindset of yours because it is awfully solipsistic and it is incredibly unhealthy specially when you engage with media that makes you uncomfortable I could go on, but instead I'll link 2 videos I feel compliment this post rather well and I would kindly ask anyone reading this to also watch these videos
