One of the only in character Errors I've ever seen bro

OMG!! Love your nightwatcher au!! I love it when people make a different take on the multiverse mechanics, so the characters change with them. I’m SO looking forward to the comic!! Also, I have a question; what kind of parent is Error? I saw that he’s the one that raised Pj and Gradient, instead of Ink. I found that really interesting, and I honestly have no idea how that would work lol. Thank you guys for the art!! Don’t forget to rest!!

Ah Nightwatch Error

when the creators divine punished him and ink with two kids, Error immediately nabbed them. Ink was paralyzed from the divine intervention because it took out all his active magic, Dream found him and gave him his vials- so they eventually caught up with Error and the kids. This created an issue,

1) Error liked them because they were cute and looked like him

2) Ink did not want them but also didt think Error destroying the multiverse and raising kids would be healthy for their development

Ink argued that if error was too busy with his “hobby” of destruction, he won’t be able to be present, error was surprisingly understanding of it.

So they came to a truce: As long as the children are alive Error will be “temporarily retired” from destruction and instead focus on parenting, in exchange for keeping them Ink will continuously supply error with all necessities. (Little does Error know the children are immortal, this was tactical for Ink to keep him out of his way forever)

Error goes onto raise these kids for 12 years at the beginning of night watch, his idea of parenting comes from whatever he watches on tv (grand gestures, he dresses like a stereotypical father, he takes his kids on fishing trips, is grilling 24/7) he even got a job because all fathers he saw on the tv have a job. It was hard to get one since he’s a corrupted and a level 0 citizen- only one establishment would allow hiring him and it is a shitty pizza establishment (Friday Freshtastic Pizza) ran by his least favourite person ever (Fresh). It’s clowned themed.

At work he’s has to dress as his child entertainer clownsona “don’t touch me I don’t like you” and at home in the void he tries his best as a dad. He’s not perfect- he’s possessive and helicoptery but he does try his best. He’s definitely not a main character but a reoccurring side character. His two stupid kids love him.
