Baby Winchester
Summary: Dean and Cas moved away from the bunker and have add a member to the family.
Sam rushed into the house searching around quickly with Eileen trailing behind him. “Dean! Cas! Where are-” Castiel ran into the room his tie loose no jackets and shirt a mess, “Shh, Samuel!” He said and Sam reared back, “Samuel?”
Castiel sighed and sat at the counter dropping his head on his arms. “I thought you were coming later.” He said muffled. Sam shrugged barely containing his excitement and Elieen put her hand on his arm. “Sorry, he rushed over as soon as he got the text.” She said and Castiel nodded.
“Well, Dean’s upstairs right now. He should be down in a minute.” Castiel said. He, Eileen, and Sam walked into the living room and sat down talking about random things while Castiel tried not to fall asleep. “I thought you guys were coming later.” They heard and turned to the stiarcase where Dean stood holding a sleeping baby in a fluffy pink blanket.
Sam jumped up and Eileen pulled his hand to keep him in place. Dean smiled at his younger brother and walked over to him shifting the blanket out of the way. “This is Avery Samantha Winchester.” Sam smiled big and looked down at his niece. “Aw, she’s beautiful man.”
Eileen looked at her and smiled kissing her hand. Everyone sat down and Dean made his way to Cas so that they were right next to each other. Everyone was talking for around half an hour before Avery began to cry and fuss around on Dean’s chest. After a while of trying to sooth her and not being able to, he moved the baby to Castiel who she quickly began to quiet down with.
Avery gripped his shirt and fell back asleep. “Cas has got the magic touch or somethig.” Dean said about his boyfriend. Castiel smiled and kissed Avery’s head, “Not a very good one apparently. She was up all night, she just wouldn’t go to sleep unless she was being constantly moved.” Castiel said explaining his tired nature.
When she had woken up Avery started looking around at everyone in the room and Sam smiled at her, “Hi princess. I’m uncle Sam.” He said quietly. Castiel moved the baby into Sam’s arms and she looked even smaller due to his large frame. Eileen smiled and took a picture of Sam looking down at Avery as he held her, making silly faces. After a while, Sam begrudgingly passed Avery over to Eileen. Eileen looked down at her and held her hand, “Hello pretty girl.” She whispered. Sam looked at Dean, “You call anyone else yet?” he asked. Dean shook his head, “Nah, we’re going to wait to get settled in. Barely anyone knew we were even getting her.” Castiel’s eyes widened slightly, “Dean, about that.”
Before he could continue the front door flew open and a blonde teenager ran through the front. “Where is she!” Claire asked quickly. She looked at Eileen and smiled bubbily, this being the first time any of them had seen her like this. Castiel smiled at Dean who gave him a playful glare. “You were saying?” Dean asked him. Castiel sighed, “We were on the phone and it slipped out. She said she wouldn’t tell Jody or Donna, but she really wanted to meet the baby.” Castiel admitted.
“What’s her name?” Claire asked not looking away. “Avery Samantha Winchester.” Claire smiled and repeated the name in a whisper. “You’re naming the next one after me right?” She teased and Dean rolled his eyes. “Yeah yeah, just let us work with this one first okay?” He said. “Can I stay tonight?” She asked her head snapping up. Dean looked at Castiel and shrugged, “As long as it’s okay with Jody.” Castiel said to the girl.
Claire nodded happily and went into the other room so that she could call Jody in the other room, asking if she could stay with the two, tired from a hunt near them. After Jody made her promise to eat and get sleep before heading out Claire hung up and went back to the living room. Claire sat on the couch criss cross excitedly as Eileen placed the baby in her arms. Claire let out a silent scream and smiled big down at her. “She’s so tiny.” After 20 minutes, in which Claire had not taken her eyes of Avery making sure she was holding her right, she passed the baby over to Cas.
Avery’s eyes were now open and she was looking at Dean who was kissing her hand repeatedly. She giggled and buried her head in Castiel’s chest. “See, she reacts to Dean the same way Cas does.” Sam joked and Castiel rolled his eyes. “Hardly.” He said and Avery begain patting his chest and babbling, “She agrees you’re being ridiculous Sam.” Miracled ran up to them (the dog Dean found in season 15) and began licking at Avery’s feet and stomping his paws.
Castiel turned Avery so she could see the dog in front of her and she stared at Miracle as he continued licking her and tried jumping up on the couch. Before he could, however, Dean pulled his collar back, “Easy buddy.” He said and pulled the hyper dog to sit in front of him. “He’s been following us around with her since we got home yesterday.” Dean said.
Avery gripped Castiel’s collar and began chewing on his tie, “No, angel, papa’s tie is not food.” He said softly and pulled the tie away taking if off all together. She then looked up at him with a grumpy expression, “Now you look like your daddy.” He said refrencing Dean. Sam laughed agreeing with the statement. “Only if you slept like him.” He whispered to his daughter.
The rest of the day was spent talking and watching the baby as she shifted between being asleep, awake, and transferred to different people.
By the time Sam and Eileen had left and Claire was asleep it was just Dean and Castiel lying on their bed with Avery between them staring up at the ceiling fan. “She’s so perfect.” Dean whispered and stroked her cheek gently. Avery turned to him and held his finger. “I can’t wait to see her grow up.” Castiel said then let out a yawn. “Cas baby, go to sleep, I’ll put her in her room.” Dean said. The tiredness took over and Cas didn’t try to protest, just pulled off his shoes and climbed under the covers.
Dean carried Avery to the nursery and placed her in the crib. She moved around for a while before settling in and gripping a small bee toy. “Goodnight princess, angels are watching over you.” Dean whispered, remembering what his mother used to say to him, then stepped out of the room when he saw her eyes flutter shut.
A few hours later Dean rolled over in bed and felt cold sheets then sat up noticing his husband gone. He got up slowly and walked to the nursery where he saw Castiel leaning on the crib smiling at Avery making sure she was okay. "Cas, buddy, what're you doing?" Dean asked rubbing his eyes. Castiel looked over then back at the baby and said with a smile, "Watching over her."

Endverse Destille
summary: re-written version of “The End” episode where Dean travels to the future.
Future Dean
Future Dean had just left the main cabin where he left past Dean, frustrated and annoyed quickly making his way to Castiel’s. He walked inside the cabin and looked around before seeing him still asleep in the large bed. Dean walked over and climbed onto the bed lying next to Cas and started drawing circles on his hand.
Cas slowly woke up and turned to face Dean smiling tiredly, “Aren’t you supposed to be on your mission?” He asked. Dean nodded, “Yeah, I’m heading out in a few minutes, I just wanted to come see you before I left.”
“What’s wrong?” Castiel asked leaning on his side. Dean rolled his eyes, “Why do you think something’s wrong everytime I come to see you?” He asked rolling onto his back. Castiel chuckled at the stubborn man next to him. “Well last time it was because you were dealing with arguing community members all day, and the time before that it was because you had just gotten back from a 3 day intense mission.” Castiel said starting to list the different occassions Dean made his way to the cabin. “Okay, yes maybe I was frustrated and annoyed, but you ever thing I just wanted to see you?” he asked growing upset that Castiel thinks that he doesn’t want just him.
Cas simply shrugged, “Look, we’ve talked about this, I help you when you’re upset, you don’t say anything about me and what I do in my free time.” Dean turned quickly sitting on Cas’s waist and covernig his mouth. “You’re such an idiot. I come see you when I’m upset because you calm me down. You make me forget all the shit outside. Yeah the…other part…is awesome, but I wanna see you buddy.” He admitted. “So there’s really nothing upsetting you. You promise you’re just here to see me.” Cas asked wanting a straight forward answer. Dean nodded hoping his past self wouldn’t mess things up, “I promise, there’s nothing happening right now.”
Castiel smiled and removed Dean’s hand, “Wow, did Dean Winchester just share his thoughts and feelings, that is a mir-” Dean cut him off with a kiss and Castiel chuckled. “Look, I gott head out, I should be back soon. Tonight I wanna talk. Just talk…well, we’ll see.” Cas nodded and watched as Dean grabbed his things and made his way outside.
Past Dean
Dean walked around the camp looking for Castiel’s cabin then finally saw a glimpse of the angel he knew in some beads. He walked up the steps and quietly made his way in. “So, in this way. We’re each a fragment of total perception—just, uh, one compartment in that dragonfly eye of group mind. Now, the key to this total, shared perception—it’s, um, it’s surprisingly physical.” He heard Castiel say and quietly knocked on the wall.
Castiel looked over and smiled giving him a subtle wink, “Excuse me, ladies. I think I need to confer with our fearless leader for a minute. Why not go get washed up for the orgy?” He said the women surrounding him, Dean paused and looked at him completely shocked. Cas watched as they walked out smiling softly, “You’re all so beatiful.”
Dean watched them leave as Castiel stood up stretching. “What are you, a hippie?” Dean asked stepping closer. Castiel rolled his eyes, “I thought you’d gotten over trying to label me. Why are you back so soon?” He asked and turned ready to reach out but swayed back as Dean spoke, “Cas, we got to talk.”
“Woah. Strange.” Cas said leaning on a table, “You…are not you. Not now you, anyway.” Dean nodded quickly. “No! Yeah. yes, exactly.” He said. “What year are you from?” Castiel asked him. “2009.” Dean answered. “Who did this to you? Is it Zachariah?” Cas stepped forward. “Yes!” Dean confimed.
Cas nodded and tapped his lip, “Interesting.” He muttered currently upset at his Dean for lying. Dean’s eyebrows furrowed and he threw his hands up, “Oh, yeah, it’s friggin’ fascinating. Now. Why don’t you strap on your angel wins and fly me back to my page on the calendar?” He asked frustraged. Castiel began laughing and turned away from Dean. “I wish I could just, uh, strap on my wings, but I’m sorry, no dice.” He said seeming unsteady. “What, are you stoned?” Dean asked taken aback. “ Cas hummed and nodded turning back to the man, “Uh, generally, yeah.” He said.
“What happened to you?” Castiel shrugged at Dean’s question. “Life.” They heard cars pulling up outside and walked out in time to see 2014 Dean pulling a gun on one of the men he was with. ‘09 Dean stepped forward quickly, “Hey. Hey! Watch out!” The man turned just before ‘14 Dean shot him, then turned seeing Castiel and ‘09. Castiel’s face told him what he needed to know about what he was thinking and ‘14 Dean cursed silently. “I’m not gonna lie to you.” ‘14 Dean started, turning to the men he was with, “Me and him—it’s a pretty messed-up situatoin we got going. But believe me, when you need to know something, you will know it. until then, we all have work to do.”
The men nodded and walked away then ‘14 Dean turned to ‘09 Dean, “You! Get in the cabin. I’ll deal with you in a bit.” He said frustrated. ‘09 Dean rolled his eyes and made his way to the building came to when he first arrived.
Future Dean
“Cas-” Dean tried to say but Castiel walked back into his cabin. “Damn-it Cas!” Dean said marching in behind him, “Let me explain.” Castiel threw his shirt off onto the bed looking through his drawer, “There’s nothing to explain Dean. You should go, you don’t want past you wandering around.” Castiel said changing into something else knowing they’d be heading out soon. Dean walked up behind him and grabbed his arm, “Look I wasn’t lying, I wanted to see you.” He said softer now but Castiel just shook his head and turned. “I don’t care about that, I care that you lied about nothing being wrong. I don’t care that you come to me when something’s wrong Dean, I don’t. What I do care about is you keeping things from me that are important and just expecting me to fuck the worries out of you-”
Dean cut him off, “It’s not like that, and you know it.” He said with finality. “Yeah. You said that you were in a counsel meeting all night, right? Because that morning you came by raging that your mission was a bust, screwed me and left saying you had something the rest of the night.” Dean tried to stop him before he could even start. “But I could have sworn I heard Risa talking to you about staying at her’s. Look I don’t care Dean. Just go, I’ll be there in a bit.”
Dean reluctantly walked out of the cabin making his way to where his past self was cursing this entire situation.

When everyone was gathered in the headquarters Dean pulled out the colt and placed it on the table. “So, that’s it? That’s the Colt?” Risa asked leaning against a staircase. ‘14 Dean nodded, “I anything can kill LUcifer, this is it.” He said. She nodded and responded with some bite, “Great. Have we got anything that can find Lucifer?” Dean looked at her understanding her frustration.
The night before he had gone to her cabin to tell her that nothing else could happen betwen them because he was sure about someone else. When he had told her she tried asking who it was but Dean wouldn’t say anything. He left shortly after and made his way to Jane’s cabin because she had some final information about the location that the colt would be the next morning. They went over the details for hours, and when Dean finally left, he saw somebody messing around with his old car. And that’s where he finds himself tortured now.
“Are you okay?” He asked a clearly not okay Risa. She rolled her eyes and ‘09 Dean sat up, “Oh, we were i, uh, Jane’s cabin last night. And, apparently, we and…Risa have a connection.” He said. Castiel heard this and chuckled to himself thinking that the situation couldn’t get any worse.
Tumblr media
Dean saw the look on Castiel’s face and felt his chest tighten, mostly with upset for ‘09 Dean. “You want to shut up?” He said to which his past self raised his hands in surrender.
Future Dean rolled his eyes and turned to look around the group again, “We don’t have to find Lucifer. We know where he is. The demon that we caught last week, he was one of the big guy’s entourage. He knew.” Dean explained.
“So, a demon tells you where Satan’s gonna be, and you just believe it?” Risa asked unsure. Dean smirked, “OH, trust me, he wasn’t lying.” He said. “And you know this how?” Risa asked. “Our fearless leader, I’m afraid, is all too well schooled in the art of getting to the truth.” Castiel said looking down.
‘09 Dean stood up walking towards the table, “Torture? Oh, so, we’re—we’re torturing again. No, that’s—that’s good. Classy.” Dean said to his future self disappointed and pissed. Castiel looked up at him and smiled remembering when Dean wasn’t crushed by everything. He turned his head and saw his Dean glaring at him. “What? I like past you.” Castiel said with a wide smile.
Dean simply looked down at his map and set it on the table, “Lucifer is here. Now. I know the block and I know the building.” Castiel sat forward and sighed looking at it. “Oh, good—it’s right in the middle of a hot zone.” He said and Dean tilted his head up at him, “Crawling with Croats, yea. You saying my plan is reckless?” He asked. “Are you saying, we, uh, walk in straight up the druveway, past all the demons and the Croats, and we shoot the devil?” Castiel asked now eyes locked onto Deans.
“Yes.” He responded not dropping contact either, “Okay, if you don’t like, uh, ‘reckless’, I could use ‘insouciant’, maybe.” Castiel offered sarcastically. Dean ignored this and asked, “Are you coming?” Castiel sighed and leaned back, “Of course.” Then guestered to past Dean, “But why is he? Imean, he’s you five years ago. If something happens to him, you’re gone, right?”
Dean stood up packing the map, “He’s coming.” Castiel nodded and stood, “Okay. Well, uh. I’ll get the grunts moving.” Dean called out to him as he and Risa began to leave “We’re loaded and on the road by midnight.” Castiel hummed and pushed open the door, “All righty.”
‘09 Dean looked at his future self who was clearly on edge and upset. “You guys sure fight like a married couple.” Dean said gesturing to Castiel who had just exited. ‘14 Dean just stayed quiet and fiddled with his gun, something he did whenever he was nervous but didn’t want to show it. “Wait…” ‘09 Dean started, “Are you guys-are we with-” His future self threw the gun on the table, “Look you’re leaving soon so I’m going to tell you one thing. Cas is important. More than you’ll ever know, don’t let him think he isn’t.” And with that he walked out also.
Past Dean
Sitting inside the car with Castiel Dean looked over and saw him taking some pills. “Let me see those.” Dean said and Cas handed them over. “You want some?” He asked. Dean read the lable and put the pills in his pocket out of Castiel’s reach. “Amphetamines?” Castiel nodded, “It’s the perfect antidote to that absinthe.” He said referring to earlier.
“Mmm. Don’t get me wrong, Cas. I, uh, I’m happy that the stick is out of youer ass, but—what’s going on—w-with the drugs and the orgies and the love-guru crap?” Dean asked and Castiel begain to laugh dropping his head back for a second. “What’s so funny?” Dean asked turning to him.
“Dean, I’m not an angel anymore.” Castiel said. “What?” “Yeah, I went mortal.” Cas said taking a turn. “What do you mean? How?” Dean asked. “I think it had something to do with the other angels leaving. But when they bailed, my mojo just kind of—psshhew!—drained away. And now, you know, I’m practically human. I mean, Dean, I’m all but useless. Last year, broke my food, laid up for two months.” Castiel explained. “Wow.”
“So you’re human. Well, welcome to the club.” Dean said to castiel, “Thanks. Except I used to belong to a much better club. And now I’m powerless. I’m hapless, I’m hopeless. I mean, why the hell not bury myself in women and decadent, right? It’s the end, baby. that’s what decadence is for. Why not bang a few gongs before the lights go out? But then that’s, that’s just how I roll.” Cas said in acceptance of what has happened. Dean raised an eyebrow looking at him. “And future me? How do I fit into all of this?” Castiel’s smile dropped, “We’re almost there.” Dean shook his head, “No, no Cas. Talk to me. Cmon I know somethings up. What, did-did we stop being friends after Sam died? Or when everything turned to crap? What happened Cas? Cause when I left you were right there.” Dean said frustrated. Castiel shook his head, “I’m still there Dean. Always have been, so drop it. Don’t ask stupid questions.”
“He told me not to let you think you’re not imporant. There must be a reason. Cmon, if everything goes right today then I’m on the first magic blink back home, and if not…well we’re dead anyways.” He said growing desperate to know what happened to his friend. Castiel pulled off the road during a stop point with everybody else but they stayed in the car. “Sam was gone, everything was going wrong, I tried to help you as much as I could, but I could barely help myself with losing all the other angels and my powers. We both just ended up drawing together, we thought as friends at first but…now everything’s different but it doesn’t matter because it’s just something that happens once in a while.” Castiel said reluctantly beginning the drive again.
Dean’s eyes widened, “So you’re saying we’re-” Castiel cut him off, “Sure, yeah. Whatever you want to call it. Cmon, we’re here.” He said parking the vehicle and walking out. After a few more moments of shock Dean stepped out as well heading to the group, and they all began down the road to the location where Lucifer was.
Future Dean
Everybody was sitting outside the gates of Jackson County Sanitarium as Dean looked through some binoculars. He handed them to Cas and pointed to the building, “There. Second-floor window. One group goes in there, one through the side.” Risa nodded but looked hesitant, “You sure about this?” She asked and Dean nodded. “They’ll never see us coming. Trust me. Now, weapons check. We’re on the move in five. Cas, corner.” Dean said and stood up walking over to an area they couldn’t be seen.
Castiel followed and they were now standing a foot apart not looking at each other directly. “Look, I need you to stay here, make sure no Croats come in after us. Just to keep alert.” Dean said looking at the ground. Castiel shook his head, “No. I know what’s happening today Dean. I know this is the end, it’s okay.” Cas said and Dean finally looked up at him, “No, that’s not what-” He tried to argue. “Dean.” Castiel said, holding the sides of his face, “I’m not staying here while the others get killed. That’s now how this works. I’m here because this is what we’ve all been looking for, a way to end this. I may be the only other one here that knows how that’s happening.” Dean looked at him and his throat tightened. “Please just stay here Cas.” He pleaded to the angel.
“Go. Go stop this, make sure that Lucifer doesn’t create more chaos. I’ll help lead the others through the front.” He said with finality. Dean dropped his head and Castiel pulled him into a hug. “Goodbye Dean.” He whispered, “Don’t do this Cas please, please just stay here.” Dean mumbled trying one more time. Castiel just lifted his face and kissed him to which Dean responded quickly. After Cas walked away without another word back to the group and finished weapons check.
‘09 Dean walked up to his future self and grabbed his arm, “Tell me what’s going on. I know you’re lying to these people and to me.” He said and ‘14 Dean glared at him, “Is that so.” ‘09 Dean nodded, “Yeah. See, I know youre lying expressions. I’ve seen them in the mirror. Now, there’s something. you’re not telling us…”
Dean began to walk his past self through what was going to happen next, how the others would be decoys and that they would be going through the back. Dean tried to stop him but there was no chance. “You’re just gonna let Cas die!?” He called out as his future self was walking away. “These people count on you. They trust you.”
‘14 Dean walked back to him standing inches away. “They trust me to kill the devil and to save the world and that’s exactly what I’m gonna do.” He said. ‘09 Dean shook his head, “No. Not like this, you’re not. I’m not gonna let you.” He said. “Oh, really?”
Dean nodded at his future self, “Yeah.” Before he could do anything else a fist came across his face knocking him out.

Past Dean
(i apologize in advance.)
Oh no, future Dean’s dead, friends are dead, WHAAAAT, Sam is Lucifer?! Mind blown! Ahhh oh no, I’m gonna stop you Lucifer. Haha, no you’re not Dean, you’re going bye-bye now. Sikeeeee I’m going back to my time where I’m gonna tell Zachariah to screw off. Oh no Zach is maaaad, he’s gonna—oh yay! Cas saved me…
cont…
Dean turned around and saw Castiel standing at the corner of the sidewalk smiling softly. “That’s pretty nice timing, Cas.” He said with a tired chuckle. Cas smiled at him, “We had an appointment.” Dean placed his hand on Castiel’s shoulder and looked at him, “Don’t ever change.” He said. “How did Zachariah find you?” Castiel asked and Dean sighed, “Long story. Let’s just stay away from Jehova’s Witnesses from now on, okay?” He said taking out his phone and dialing Sam’s number. “What are you doing?” Castiel asked and Dean raised the phone to his ear. “Something I should have done in the first place.”
After finishing his call he turned to Cas and remembered what he had seen in the future world. “Cas…” Dean couldn’t begin to figure out what to say, if he should even say anything at all. He finally just trusted the one thing his future self had done right and pulled Castiel into a kiss. The angel froze, eyes wide and blinked a few times confused. Dean pulled away, “I-I’m sorry Cas I didn’t-” Castiel pulled Dean into another kiss this time more confident then pulled back after a moment and whispered, “Is this the human way of saying you find me pleasant?” Dean chuckled at this and nodded. “Yes, Cas. Yes it is.”

2 Times Mary Defended Cas & 1 Time He Got To Defended Her
summary: Castiel gets into situations a lot, and Mary is there to help out, and he looks to return the favor.
“Okay, so we have our plan?” Dean asked throwing his menu down on the table, and resting his arm around Castiel on the booth chair behind them. Sam and Mary nodded while Castiel was busy reading through the menu ingredients, fascinated by everything they put into the items.
“We’ll leave tomorrow morning. I’ll drive seperate in case we need to hit different locations.” Mary said. The waitress came up to the table picking up the three menus then looked at Cas flirtily, “Do you need some more time handsome?” She asked.
Castiel froze uncomfortable and awkward, and before Dean could say anything Mary glared at the waitress. “My son-in-law is fine thanks.” She said. The waitress’s smile dropped and she quickly toook the orders walkig away.
Sam smiled knowingly as Mary looked at her phone for updates from other hunters casually. Dean looked at her still in shock. “Mom, um…what?” He stuttered out, “I was handling it.” Mary rolled her eyes and set her phone down. “Well I handled it for you.”
By the time their food was ready, they had received a new waitress, and Mary smiled, pleased with herself, causing Sam to hold back a laugh. Dean and Cas let out a deep breath and went on as normal.
####
Mary and Castiel were on a hunt while Sam and Dean were across the country on their own. As Mary was looking around the bar, Castiel sat at the bar talking to some of the staff. Once he had finished with his questions, ACDC came on the speakers and Castiel, without noticing, started singing along quietly. A man at the bar next to him looked over, “You know ACDC? You a fan?” He asked.
Cas looked at him and smiled, “My-um, boyfriend, he loves their songs. I listen to it all the time.” The guy leaned back and gave him a look. “Boyfriend? As in a guy?” He asked annyoing Castiel. Cas was ready to ignore the man and walk away when he heard a voice.
“Yeah, you got a problem with that? I think you should leave my son-in-law and ” Mary asked from behind the man her jacket pushed back to reveal her gun. The man stuttered before simply shaking his head and stumbling off the chair and rushing across the bar.
“Thank you Mary, but I’m used to it.” Castiel said taking a seat. “You shouldn’t have to be Castiel. Look, you don’t have to worry when you’re with me. You make my son happier then ever, and that’s all that matters.” She said with a smile.
####
While on a case at yet another bar, Castiel had been talking to the manager while Mary asked one of the waitresses about the person who was missing. “Look, are you sure that’s it. I just want to help find your friend, nothings going to happen.” She told the young woman who seemed sad and frightened. “I-I really don’t know anything. I don’t want any trouble.” She said and Mary sighed, “I-if you’re looking for somewhere to stay theres a motel by the factory on 5th.” She said giving Mary a look and location. Mary smiled softly at the girl, “Thank you.”
After she left a man grabbed Mary’s arm and turned her, “You looking for something sweetheart?” He asked, clearly intoxicated. Mary rolled her eyes and pulled her arm back, “Nothing you can help with.” He laughed and moved infront of her again. “Cmon don’t be a bitch-” Mary was about to tell him off when the man was spun around and disappeared.
Mary looked up and saw Castiel’s hand out where he had touched the man’s head. “Cas, what happened? Where’d he go?” She asked looking around. “He’s just in an old corn-maze a several miles from town, I figured it was going to be extra hard with the state he’s in. Don’t worry, he should find his way out…eventually.”
Mary laughed slightly, “Thank you but you didn’t need to do that. I was about to walk away.” Castiel smiled at her and placed a hand on her shoulder, “You always rush to defend me, let me defend you for once.” he said, to which Mary returned the smile and squeezed his hand. “Thanks. I got a location of where we should look, you get what you needed?” She asked and Castiel nodded, “Yes, I roughly know what we should be looking for.” Mary nodded and they walked out to the car.
“By the way Cas, if he doesn’t find his way back to town by the time we leave, maybe zap him back.” She said getting in the drivers side. Castiel sighed, “I’ll think about it.”

Wayward Son
Summary: Part 2 to "Carry On" Alternate Ending. Dinner with John and Mary.
Part 1
Sam had just arrived in heaven and was now questioning Dean and Castiel in the impala, for the first time, his position in the front had been changed to Cas’s spot. “So wait, you’re together now?” Sam asked leaning forward excitedly. Dean nodded frustrated with the half hour of questions. “For the 30th time, yes.” Dean said and Cas smiled amused taking his hand.
“Why now, not that I’m confused, I’ve been waiting for this to happen for years.” Sam said practically half-way over the front seat. Dean groaned and pushed his face back into his seats. Sam laughed and held his hands up, “Alright alright fine. So, how far are we from mom and dads?” He asked moving onto another subject.
“Just a few more minutes. All the houses here in heaven are connected close. You have your peaceful space but still have your family. Jack was proud of this.” Castiel explained. They had arrived at the house and pulled into the driveway. The three walked inside and Dean called for his parents.
“Mom? Dad? You guys here?” Dean asked, to which they called them into the kitchen. The three entered and saw John and Mary getting food all together. “Hi boys.” Mary said with a big smile hugging all three. John smiled also hugging Dean and Sam. “Who’s this?” Sam smiled, “This is-” Dean elbowed his side and Sam groaned.
“This is Castiel, he’s an angel, and…my boyfriend.” Everyone paused then Mary smiled laughing, “Yes! Bobby owes me $50. It’s about time.” She said hugging them and Dean’s eyes widened. “You bet on us?!” He asked shocked. Mary smiled, and nodded, “That’s not important.” John was still processing, “You’re dating a…”
Dean sighed prepared for the worst. “An angel?” John finished and Dean’s head snapped up. “That’s it? Just that I’m dating an angel?” John laughed and nodded, “Look, are you happy?” He asked placing his knife down. “Yeah. Yeah I am.” John nodded, “Alright then. You three set the table we’re almost done.”
Dean, Cas, and Sam nodded and made their way to the dining room. As the food was brought out they all sat except for Mary who was on the phone bragging to Bobby. “Alright, Mom can maybe we can stop by Bobby’s tomorrow, for now, this is our first dinner as a family since, well, I don’t even know when.” Mary sighed and nodded in agreement hanging up.
Everyone started eating, including Castiel and Dean looked at him, “You’re eating?” Cas nodded, “I no longer have the angel ability to survive off nothing.” Sam nodded and passed him the bacon mac-and-cheese casserole that Mary used to make Dean as a kid. Castiel without realizing held it out to Dean who automatically put some on his plate. Mary and John watched this interaction and smiled. Throughout dinner they did similar things, moving together as the most normal thing.
“So Castiel, no more trench coat?” Mary asked looking over the angel. Cas shrugged, “I didn’t see much of a need for it here. I left it in the impala’s trunk.” John looked at Dean, “Speaking of coats, Dean what’s with the handprint.” Dean looked down at his jacket sleeve then at Castiel who smiled softly, “Sorry.” He said and looked down shy.
“About 10 years ago, Cas pulled me out of hell-don’t ask-and left a handmark on my arm. When he sacrificed himself in the end, he did the same to my jacket. Guess it carried over.” Dean said. Mary smiled, “It’s about time. I saw it from the beginning.” She said.
“Oh really? Why didn’t you ever say anything?” Dean asked. Sam laughed, “Dean, everyone saw it. We were just waiting for you to notice.” He said laughing harder. “Was it pretty obvious?” John asked to which Sam and Mary nodded laughing. “Just, the way that they always stared at eachother. Also the cuddling.” Dean held his hand out stopping Sam, “What? there was no cuddling.”
Mary laughed, “I’ve turned around on many movie nights to see you two right next to eachother.” Castiel looked down blushing slightly and Dean subly placed a hand on his leg without the other noiticing. “Okay, well, that’s nothing. There was no cuddling.” Sam raised his hands in surrender, “Find if you say so.”
As they continued eating Dean would take some off Castiel’s plate until he got to the spicy chicken which happened to be Castiel’s favorite. He continued talkig to Mary and grabbed Dean’s hand as Dean tried to sneak some of his chicken away. Dean tried to do it with his other hand and Castiel grabbed it folding Dean’s hands so he could hold both of them in one of his. Sam laughed quietly at this.
“Cas, cmon.” Dean said sadly, but Castiel just smiled, “You don’t want your own?” Cas asked and Dean just tilted his head to his plate, “I’m out.” Cas rolled his eyes playfully and continue holding Dean’s hands in his left one as he ate the rest of the chicken on his plate. “See, now I’m all out.” Dean’s jaw dropped and Cas smiled innocently. “Can I have my hands back now?” Dean asked tugging on his interlocked hands. “Mmm, no.” Cas said then turned back to Sam continuing their converstaion. Dean sighed and sat back in his seat talking to John.
“Anyway, we moved into the bunker a few years back and it’s great. Definately better than moving around every week. It’s just a place to get back to ya’ know.” He said leaning back. “I get it. I wish I had someplace for you guys to call home. I’m sorry about the way I went about things, it was awful. Neither of you deserved that.” John said his head dropping. Dean and Sam looked at each other.
“Dad, we’ve gone through a lot, and part of the reason we’ve made it through is because of what you’ve taught us. If you hadn’t taught us what you did, the world would be in a messed up place.” Sam said looking at his dad. “Yeah, it sucked, but in the end we owe you a lot.” Dean added. John smiled at his two sons.
“Castiel, thank you for watching over them. Making sure they didn’t die. I’m sure that was difficult.” John said to the man who was still holding Dean’s hands firm. “No, it wasn’t. But it was worth it. You raised incredible men John Winchester.” Castiel said and John smiled at him, thankful. Mary stood up and looked at Dean, “Wanna help me with the pie?” Dean immediately nodded and tugged on his hands.
“I’m gonna need my hands now baby.” Dean said. Castiel nodded and let go as Dean stood up and kissed his cheek walking with Mary to the kitchen. John and Sam looked at each other. “What?” Cas asked. “He’s only ever called his car baby.” Sam said shocked. Castiel shrugged, “It’s something new. I’m honestly just as shocked as you are.” Cas admitted. “Shocked about what?” They heard as Dean and Mary walked back into the room holding two pies.
“The fact that you haven’t eaten both the pies by now.” Sam said quickly. Dean rolled his eyes taking his seat back. “I know that’s a lie, but I don’t even care right now. It’s pie time.” Dean responded with a smile and he pulled his place close.
After eating and getting everything cleaned up they decided to end the night with a movie, and the outcome ended up being Tombstone, Dean’s choice. He had walked into the room to see his parents on one couch and on the other Sam sitting next to Cas. Dean walked over and stood infront of Sam, “You’re in my seat.” he said gesturing towards him. Sam rolled his eyes, “Just sit over there.”
Dean looked at him like he was crazy, “No, I wanna sit by my boyfriend.” Sam scoffed, “I always sit by Cas during movie night. You sat in your Dean-cave chair, so go sit somewhere else.” Dean glared at him. “That was before we were together. Move.” Sam just scoffed with a smirk and turned towards the TV, Castiel deciding to stay out of the argument.
Dean had finally had enough and grabbed Sam’s arm trying to pull him out of the seat. Sam however decided he wasn’t going to let that happen and pulled back Dean falling onto the couch. John and Mary watched in amusement and content, never able to see this when the boys were growing up. After a few minutes of this Castiel groaned and stood up. He pushed the two boys to either side of the couch and sat between them. “I can’t even get peace in heaven with you two.”
Dean smiled triumphantly even if Cas was the one who solved the problem. He started the movie and wrapped his arms around Castiel’s shoulders turning him so they were basically connected. It had become a once a week movie thing and Castiel had quickly become part of the family.

"Carry On" Alternate Ending
Summary: Dean just got to heaven, and finds out Castiel is there.
Part 2
Bobby opened a cooler between their chairs and takes out a couple of beers for him and Dean while Dean looks around at everything. “So, Jack did all that?” He asked Bobby with a smile, “Well…Cas helped.” Bobby responded with a knowing look. Dean’s head shot over to him and froze.
“Cas…Cas is here?” Dean asked quietly. Bobby nodded and tilted his head to some trees. “He’s just behind there. Giant field and a lake, he sits there and just watches the water.” Bobby says. Dean smiles softly, “Yeah that sounds like Cas.”
“It’s a big, new world out there.” Bobby said looking out, “You’ll see.” Dean takes a sip of his bear and smiles, “Oh, wow. This tastes like the first drink I ever shared with my dad.” Bobby looked at him, “Quality stuff?”
“No, it’s crap. But it was fantastic.” Dean said. After talking to Bobby for a while longer he decided to take a drive and made his way to the impala. When he got in he smiled and ran his hands over the wheel. “Hey, baby.”
As he pulled onto a path in the woods he drove for a while till he came to a split. One road leading further into the woods, and the other to an open field. Dean sat for a moment, then thought about the final moments he had with Cas, how he would do things different if it were to happen again.
He thought about everything, what Cas meant to him and how he really felt. Those last few days without him, thinking that there was no coming back this time, that he was really gone, felt like the worst of his life, and now, he knew what he needed…what he wanted.
Dean took a turn to the left and drove through the field until he found the lake that Bobby was talking about, but there was no angel. He parked baby and got out walking to the edge. Where was Cas? He stood there for a few more minutes until he felt a hand on his arm and smiled.
“Hey Cas.” Dean said turning slowly. Castiel stood before him smiling, trench coat and suit jacket taken off and placed on the side, sleeves rolled up looking more calm and comfortable then he ever had on Earth. “Hello Dean.”
They turned and walked to the impala leaning against it watching the water. “I didn’t expect you to be here so soon, Jack brought me back a few days ago, and I was ready to wait a few more decades to see you. Well, with the way you throw yourself into danger, a few years.” Cas said smiling to which Dean laughed.
“Yeah, well, you know me, never one to be patient.” Dean said looking at Cas focused. “Look, Cas about what you said before you were taken-” Castiel cut him off, “Dean you don’t have to say anything, I know it’s hard for you to talk about this. You don’t have to.” He said gently.
Dean for the first time just let his feelings take over and abandoned logic. He turned Cas’s face and kissed him resting his hand on his cheek. Castiel froze shortly due to shock, then began to respond to the kiss gripping Dean’s jacket.
Dean for the first time in a while felt calm. He felt like things had finally been right. when he pulles away he saw the smile Castiel had and copied it. “That was…” Dean started, “Awesome.” Castiel laughed and nodded. “That is one word for it.”
Dean stood between Castiel’s legs and rested his hands on his sides. “Look Cas, I’m done being away from you, I’m done trying to hide everything, even from myself. I need you with me man.” Dean said softly. Cas nodded holding Dean’s arms. “Then I’m not going anywhere.”
Dean smiled and pulled him into another kiss then they moved into the impala and continued their drive, hands now laced together.

"Who's Pizza Man?"
summary: Claire is staying with Castiel and Dean for the weekend, and grabs the wrong phone on accident.
“Claire can you set the table?” Dean called out from the kitchen. “Yeah.” She said and placed her phone on the couch jumping up and walking over to the table. She began setting everything up and listened as Castiel explained to Dean why bacon wasn’t a dinner food.
“Cas baby, we’ve talked about this, bacon is an everything food.” Dean said wrapping his arms around the angel to stop his rant. Claire smiled to herself as she continued placing forks on the table. She had never seen either of them so happy and calm, and she’d grown fond ofthe protective father figures.
“Just because it tastes good doesn’t mean you should have it four times a day.” Cas mumbled bringing food over the the table. “Also, Sam said he found out some things about the case, I’ll text them to you later.”
Dean nodded and brought the rest of the items to the table and all three of them took a seat. They began eating talking about all different things, laughing, and joking. “Wait, you actually punched cupid?” Claire asked, jaw dropped. Dean laughed and nodded, “Not my best moment.”
Castiel got out of his seat and walked into the kitchen to refill his drink, and paused to send the information to Dean’s phone. “Alright, help me move the dishes and then you can do whatever teenagers do now. Sleep, stay up, watch crappy movies, your pick.” Dean said standing up.
Claire brought the cups and plates to Cas and Dean at the sink then walked to the couch grabbing her phone. Well, what she thought was her phone. She saw a text on the front then saw the background which was Castiel, Dean, and Sam talking around the Impala, Dean’s arm around Castiel’s shoulders as Sam sat on the hood. It had been taken by Jack when he was just learning how to use a phone and descovered the camera.
“Hey Dean, you have a text. Did you order food?” She asked walking into the kitchen. Dean furrowed his eyebrows and gave her a confused look, “Why would I order food? We just ate.” He said reaching his hand out. “Well to be fair you could eat all day, and second, you got a text from the Pizza Man.” Castiel coughed nearly spitting out his water, “Dean! Why is that my name in your phone?” Dean laughed slightly and tucked his phone away into his jeans pocket.
“Wait that’s Cas? Why. is it pizza man?” She asked sitting at the counter. Dean and Castiel looked at each other. “It-um, it’s a nickname, sorta.” Castiel said and quickly turned back to the sink. Claire continued to question the two until they finished cleaning the kitchen. “Look, Claire, it’s not something to be talking about, okay? It’s getting late, I’m gonna head up.” Castiel said and went upstairs.
She looked at Dean guiltily. “Sorry, I pushed.” Dean shook his head and leaned on the counter, “Look it’s not a big deal, just something from our past. You should get to bed, Cas’s right, it’s getting pretty late.” Claire nodded and grabbed herphone and went up to the room she claimed from all the times spent over.
Unable to sleep she texted Sam asking about the question that drove her crazy. ‘Why is this such a big deal to you?’ Sam texted back and she sighed responding. ‘They just seem like they’re trying to hide it, and I’m a pushy teenager. Cmon Sam pleaseeeee.’ A few minutes later Sam reluctantly gave in and texted Claire back, causing her to laugh and hope she didn’t wake up anybody.
The next morning she sat at the dining table with Dean eating, of course, bacon and eggs. She watched as Castiel walked downstairs, giving Dean a kiss on the head and hugging Claire. He walked over to his phone and opened it then threw it down covering his face.
Claire began giggling and Dean gave each of them a strange look. “Cas, what’s wrong?” Castiel looked at Claire sheepishly. “How did you find out?” He asked. She shrugged and smirked, “I have my ways. I am a skilled hunter after all.” Dean and Castiel gave her a look and she sighed, “Okay, it was Sam.”Castiel groaned and layed his head on the counter covering his head regreting everything he’s ever said.
Dean walked over and checked on his boyfriend not knowing what was upsetting him then picked up Castiel’s phone. He swiped it open and began laughing. “You’re the worst.” He said with a smile to Claire who laughed as well. “This is not a laughing matter!” Castiel said mortified. “It totally is baby.” Dean said looking at the top of his and Castiel’s messages.
More specifically at the change of contact name thanks to Claire, My Human had now been changed to: babysitter.
“I’m gonna kill Sam.”

John Winchester Meets Castiel
Set in Season 14 when John comes back…
3rd P.O.V:
“Dean…Dean get up.” Castiel whispered to his boyfriend that was lying on top of him. “Dean, you can’t stop me from going like this.” Dean groaned and moved his head into Castiel’s neck. “Why do you have to leave? We finally have no cases and now you want to go out.”
Castiel smiled softly kissing his forehead, “It’ll be quick, I just need to go check up on one of the hunters. I’ll be back before you know it.” Dean finally rolled off of him and looked up at Cas, “I already know it. You better make it up to me.”
Castiel nods and gives dean a quick kiss. When he pulled away Dean groaned again and rolled back over going to sleep mumbling a “Bye baby.” as Cas left.
……………………………………….
After solving a case earlier in the day, which resulted in some teenagers stealing the impala and realeasing some ghosts upon a party, Sam and Dean were now back at the bunker with a pearl that they’re hoping will fix their Micheal problems.
Sam was standing holding the Baozhu in his hands while Dean sat at the table, with a beer. “John Wayne Gacy’s ghost. Well, that’s one of the record books.” Dean said. “Dean, I think this is it.” Sam told him going over to him.
“The pearl?” Dean asked skeptically. Sam confirmed it so Dean trusted him, “Let’s do it.” Sam stopped Dean as reaching out, “Are you—are you sure you don’t want to call Mom or - or wait for Cas?”
Dean shook his head pearl, “No. No, ‘ceause, you know, if this mojo works like you say, great. If not…why get their hopes up? Besides Cas will be back in a few anyway.” He answered standing next to Sam.
“Yeah.” Sam agreed handing the pearl to his brother. Dean looked at it, “So, what do I…” Sam shrugeed, “I don’t know I-I guess you - you hold the pearl and - and concentrate on what your heart desires.”
“Micheal outta my head. Got it.” Dean picked up the pearl and held it in his hand. He looked at Sam before closing his fist around it, closing his eyes. The lights in the bunker start to flicker, the red emergency lights coming on. Dean opened his eyes as he and Sam look around the room.
A man appeared from behind them and swung at Sam, making Sam move, but the man hits him with his gun, pushing Sam to the floor. Dean swings at the man, but the man hits him several times, sending Dean to the ground, near Sam and they hear a gun cock.
“Don’t you move.” A deep voice said as the emergency light turned off and the regular lights come back on. Dean and Sam looked up at the man in shock, “Dad?”
John looked at the boys in shock, “Dean? Sam? What in the hell?” He asked looking around the room as he boys stood up from the floor. Sam and Dean keped their eyes on him shocked.
“Sammy. Aren’t you supposed to be in Palo Alto?” John asked confused, “Palo Alto?” Dean looked at his father breating heavily. “What happened to you?” John asked.
“What year is it?” Dean said, more like whispered out. “It’s 2003.” John said and Sam’s eyes widened. “It’s 2019.” Sam told him.
“No. How?” Sam looked to Dean but he stayed silent still proccessing, “We, uh…I - I think we summoned you.” He told his father.
“You buys better tell me what the hell is giong on right now.”
……………………………………….
After moving to the kitchen and pouring out a few drinks they explained what their father had missed. “So, you saved the world?” John asked making Dean respond with, “More than once.” as John followed along.
“Then it’s all true. God, the devil, you boys smack in the middle. Now you live in a secret bunker with an angel and Lucifer’s kid.” The boys nodded confirming his understandings. Sam looked at their dad, “Well actually Castiel’s not only an angel he’s D-”
Dean cut him off, “A hunter. He-uh, he’s been hunting for a while helping us out.” Sam gave him a confused look and Dean avoided his eyes. “And you’ve done this whole time-travel thing before?”
Dean nodded, “A few times. Actually, uh, our grandfather, your dad - he’s the one who helped us find this place. I think he’d be really happy to know you’re finally here.” John looked around, “Right. Man of Letters.”
“Yeah. W-We’re legacies…because of you.” Sam said. John smiled at Sam, then chuckled to himself, “So, you’ve um - you’ve been busy.” Sam said, “A little bit.”
John smiled sadly, “I-I don’t…I-I just…I just wish that I had been there to see it.” Dean looked at his dad, “Dad, none of this would have happened without you.” But John shook his head, “It’s good. It’s fine. I-I went out takin’ out Yellow Eyes. I mean, that was the point, right? I mean, get the thing that killed mom.”
Sam and Dean looked at eachtother, “Yeah, yeah, uh, DAd. About Mom…” Sam started until they hear Mary’s voice from the hallway. “Sam? Dean?”
John turned around shocked, “Mary?” Mary walked into the kitchen, and John turned around smiling at her. She walked over to him in shock, as he stood up from the table. Mary smiled at him as John leaned down to kiss her. They embraced eachother as Sam and Dean looked up. Sam gestured for Dean to leave the kitchen, and they boys stood up from the table to leave.
Dean smiled as they walked down the hallway, “It’s Dad. This is amazing, man. I’m - I’m - I’m freaking out.” He said then jumped as Sam hit his head, “Ow! What the h-”
“Why did you lie about Cas?!” Sam asked and Dean paused sighing, “Look, we haven’t seen dad in what, 14 years?! How do you think he’s going to respond to me dating, well, Cas.” Dean leaned against the wall and his eyes closed. “Look just, give me some time. He just got back give it a minute.”
Sam sighed and nodded, “Okay, but you gotta figure it out before Cas comes back. But, how did this even happen?” Dean and Sam continued walking and Dean answered, “I-I-I don’t know . You said that the - pearl gives you what your heart desires, right? So, my heart desired - I - I’ve wanted this, man. I’ve - I’va wanted this since I was 4 years old.”
“Okay, I know, and I-I love this, too, Dean. I do, honestly, but - but messing with time-” Dean cut Sam off, “No, no, no Sam.” Sam sighed, “You know how this ends. Things change.” Dean nodded, “Yeah, great - we got our family back together. I’ll take that change.”
“That’s not waht I mean.” Sam said. Dean groaned and turned towards him, “Stop. Just stop, okay? Look, can - can we just have one family dinner? Just one? Us - all of us together. That’s all I want. Can you just give me that?” Dean asked rhetorically and walked away.
……………………………………….
After finding out that John being there changed the timeline…a little too much, Sam being a talk show hippie, Dean basially a serial killer on the run…and much, much more-they decided to have a last family dinner before they sent John back.
Sam and Dean sat across from John and Mary, everyone quiet, as they ate in silence. John looked up at every one, “Alright. Near as I can tell, we have two choices. Alright, we can think about what’s coming, or we can be grateful for this time that we have together. Now, me…” He laced his hand with Marys and kissed it. “I choose grateful. So, to whatever brought us together, we owe you one. Amen.” The rest of them said Amen as well and started laughing and talking throughout the dinner.
The door to the bunker opened a little later and Castiel walked in Dean’s eyes widening, fogetting to talk to his dad. “Dean, Sam? I saw Mary’s car here is everything alri-” He paused seeing John and looked around. Mary smiled loving Castiel, especially since he makes Dean happy.
“John Winchester…” Castiel said confused. Mary looked at John, “John this is Castiel he’s Dean’s-” Dean cut her off, “He’s the angel. The one we told you about.” Mary looked at him half confused half disappointed. Castiel on the other hand…
“Is that right Dean?” Dean cursed to himself, “He’s right I am the angel I just came to let Sam and Dean know that Katy and Shawn’s hunt is going well. I should get going-” Mary stood up, “Castiel sit.”
Castiel sat in the chair next to Dean’s but moved it further still slightly upset with his boyfriend. Although he could understand why he didn’t say anything yet, it still hurt the angel. “Cmon Cas don’t do that.” Dean said quietly, “So how did you meet the boys Castiel?” John asked curious.
Sam laughed, “He’s the one who gripped Dean tight and raised him from perdition.” Dean glared at his brother, but nodded. “I uh, went to hell for something a while back, and Castiel pulled me out, said my time on Earth wasn’t done.” Dean said smiling at him.
“You were in hell?” John asked and Dean nodded, “Yeah. Met Cas in a shed with Bobby when I got back.” Castiel looked over at John, “He stabbed me.” Mary and Sam laughed, then looked at each other and John looked around, “I feel like I’m missing something.”
Mary looked at Dean, “Dean.” Dean slid up in his seat, “I - Cas is - when -” Castiel looked at Dean and shook his head. “You don’t have to.” He said softly so only they could hear and Dean looked at him and without breaking eye contact said, “Castiel’s my boyfriend.”
He didn’t want to look at John but forced himself to and when John proccessed he nodded and said, “Okay.” Everybody looked straight to him and Dean looked at him as though his head was on fire. “Okay? Okay?!” John laughed.
“Dean, he raised you from hell. He raised you from Damn Hell- and I’m sure he has made sure you haven’t died a hundred times since then-” Castiel said quickly “246 times.” Mary laughed and looked back at John.
“Dean, I see this life you have now and I see in this only 5 minutes that Castiel makes you happy.” Dean smiled and nodded, “Yeah, he does.” Everyone continued eating and talking as Dean grabbed the leg of Castiel’s stool and pulled him closer to his. “Dean I know how hard that was-”
Dean shook his head, “No, I-I’m glad I told him. He’s right, you do make me happy.” Castiel smiled and they went back to the conversation holding hands under the table. “So Castiel 245 times seems like a lot.” John said. “Yes he often disregaurds his safety. Like when he charged in to kill Ruby-” Sam choked on his drink and John looked over.
“Who’s Ruby?” Dean smiled smugly and looked at Sam who shook his head as to say ‘nobody’ but Dean answered, “Ruby is the demon that Sam was…dating?” Sam glared at him, “We were not-it wasn’t-” Mary’s eyes widened, “You dated a demon?!” Sam shook his head, and before he could answer Castiel stepped in, “No, they were simply sleeping together while she used him to resurect Lucifer from a cage in hell.”
Dean, Mary, and John laughed while Sam tried to defend himself to no luck. “Okay, well Dean technically had a daughter.” Dean’s eyes went wide, “No-okay, she was not my-you’re the one who killed her and-”
The rest of the night went on like this until they had to destroy the pearl and send John back, and in doing so put everything back.
Dean and Cas were back in Dean’s bed that night, both in a t-shirt and one of Dean’s sweatpants, this outfit chioce taking a while for Castiel to get used to over the past few years of them dating.
“I have to leave again tomorrow, Rowena said she might have a trail on-” Dean kissed him successfully quieting the angel. “No. You are staying here tomorrow and we are not going to leave this room…okay maybe for breakfast, and lunch…but that is it.”
Castiel smiled and nodded kissing Dean again before Dean lied his head on Cas’s chest falling asleep.

“Dean, No.” - Destiel
set in season 12
summary: Sam, Dean, and Castiel meet up with one of Castiel’s old Angel friends, but Dean get’s a bit jealous and annoyed of him.
Castiel and Dean had been in an official relationship for 3 months. They told Sam about it 1 month ago and were the happiest they had ever been. Even their mom had grown fond of their relationship-seeing Dean this happy for as long as she had been back.
Sam, Dean, and Castiel were waiting in the back corner of a diner close to midnight waiting for one of Casitel’s old Angel contacts from his time up in Heaven. Dean sat next to Castiel their hands locked beneath the table. “Dean, I already know how you’re going to be tonight, but please, please be nice. Just don’t say anything…Dean-ish.”
Dean pulled his head back, “And what is Dean-ish supposed to mean.” Sam laughed and answered for Cas, “You know when you get all grumpy and start saying the thoughts in your head out loud.” Dean just sat back and glared at him.
“So Cas, how do you know this guy-Daiel?” Sam asked leaning forward on the table. “We fought together in Heaven, I’ve known him the longest out of anyone there or here.” “Well that’s not all.” A voice said from behind them.
Team Free Will turned around and stood up when the saw a man standing to the side of the booth. “Hey Cassy.” He said as he hugged Castiel tight. Dean’s eyebrows drew together at this. Who was this guy that thought it was okay to touch Dean’s boyfriend.
“Look at you,” Daiel said as he pulled away still keeping his hands on Castiel’s arms, “even more handsome than the last time I saw you.” Dean glared at the angel and an angel sword dropped down from his sleeve.
Sam saw this and elbowed him, “Dean, no.” Rolling his eyes Dean put it away and reached out to grab Castiel’s hand pulling him back to his side. “It’s good to see you too.” Cas told Daiel.
“You must be Sam and Dean. Cassy told me a lot about you guys.” Dean hummed, “Yeah, Cas really hasn’t told us anything about you.” he said smiling smugly. Castiel groaned, “This is my friend Sam and my boyfriend Dean, my boyfriend who doesn’t listen very well.” Dean looked over at him a smiled.
Castiel looked over at Dean and rolled his eyes. It hadn’t been the first time Dean was jealous of somebody he thought was trying to hit on Cas. There had been a waitress a few weeks back that tried to get his number by writing it on his cup, when Dean saw this he had taken the cup and drank some of the coffee inside, then pressed a kiss to Castiel’s lips.
They all sat back down, Sam and Daiel across from Dean and Cas. “So what’s this meeting about. I’m guessing it’s not just because you missed me.” Daiel said winking at Cas. “No,” Cas started, “we need your help. There’s a sickness going around killing angels and we need to figure out how to stop it before anyone else dies.”
Daiel leaned back, “I’ve heard.” Dean looked over to him, “Well if you’ve heard why haven’t you been doing anything to stop it hm? You just hiding away?” Sam kicked Dean under the table and gave him a look of ‘shut up’.
Daiel smirked, “No actually, I’ve been working with a few other angels to figure out what it is. Can’t stop something you don’t know.” Dean simply rolled his eyes and gripped Cas’s hand tighter.
“Although I do have to say Cassy, I’m surprised you’re not on my team. With a strong, smart leader like you we could figure it out a whole lot faster. I have been trying to find you, but it seems you dropped off the map.”
Castiel nodded, “Yes, I’ve been helping Dean and Sam with some cases. I haven’t really been in any angel business lately.” He looked over at Dean and smiled. Daiel smiled and leaned across the table putting a hand on Castiel’s arm, “Still we can always use your help. I could use your help.” He looked Castiel in the eyes.
Dean shot up, “Alright we’re done here. We can figure this out on our own. Let’s go.” Sam grabbed Dean’s arm and pulled him back to the table. “Dean, maybe we should team up with them. It would help us figure out what this is faster and maybe they have a better way to stop it then what we have. Which is nothing.”
Dean groaned, “We can figure this out okay, we’ve been up against bigger things.” Cas stood up and gripped Dean’s jacket pulling him over to the hall leading to the bathrooms. Dean was looking down avoiding Cas’s puppy eyes. “Dean.” Castiel lifted his chin forcing his eyes up. “This it's important, my family is dying. I know that they may not like me at the moment, but they are still my family. You may not like Daiel but there’s nothing to worry about-they can help us.”
Dean sighed and nodded. “Alright, we’ll work with them.” Castiel smiled softly and pulled him in for a kiss. “By the way. It’s kind of hot when you’re jealous.” He whispered then turned and walked back towards the table.
……………………….
Sam, Dean, and Cas walking into a large office area that was filled with Angels. Daiel walked out of a main room with some people and stopped when he saw the 3. “Hey, thanks for coming guys.” Sam smiled, “Yeah, no problem. So what do we know?” Daiel lead them over to a table which had papers spread out across it, “We know that it’s something Biblical, there’s no current sicknesses that could cause such a big issue with Angels.”
“What if it’s not the Angels that are being affected. It could be their host bodies.” Castiel suggested. Daiel looked over at him and smiled, “Like I said, we need someone smart like you Cassy.” He winked and pulled Castiel over to look at some more papers. Dean grabbed the gun that was in the back of his jeans, “Dean, no.” Sam told him groaning, “What? It’s not going to kill him.”
Sam pulled him to the side, “Look I know you don’t like the guy, but right now we need to work with him, Angels are dying and anybody in this room could be next, that includes Castiel.” Dean groaned knowing Sam was right. “Fine. I’ll work with the douchbag.”
……………….
A few days later they had figured out what was killing the angels: a toxin that slowly destroyed the host bodies so that they wouldn’t know and by the time they did it was too late. Daiel walked over to Sam, Dean, and Cas with his hands in his pockets.
“Thanks again, we couldn’t have done it without you guys.” He looked over at Cas, “Especially without you.”
Daiel walked over and pulled Castiel into a hug staying in it for a minute or two. “I missed you Cassy. Don’t be a stranger.” Castiel pulled away and gave a confused look, “How could I be a stranger? We’ve known each other our whole existences.” Daiel laughed, “Never change Cassy.”
Dean and Cas got in the impala while Sam said a few thank you’s to the Angels really quick. Dean grumbled to himself, “Castiel. It’s Castiel.” Cas smiled and leaned forward wrapping his arms around Dean from the back seat, “Relax Dean, he’s called me Cassy for hundreds of years. But whatever you call me is my favorite thing to be called.”
Dean smiled and leaned his head back on Castiel’s shoulder before turning and kissing his jaw, “Thanks baby.” Castiel smiled, “That is definitely my favorite thing to be called by you.”

"I'm Still Upset"-Dean Winchester
Summary: Dean and his girlfriend get into a fight which lasts all day, but they can't sleep without the other by their side.
Yelling could be heard from all over the bunker, keeping everybody on edge. "Are they still on this stupid argument?" Castiel asked as he walked down the stairs towards Sam who was sitting at the table. "Yeah, almost 3 hours now without a break. It's almost impressive."
"You could have died!" They heard Delilah shouting, "How is that different from every other day?!" Dean responded.
"This time you put yourself in the way on purpose. You're lucky that bullet only hit your side." She dropped her head in her hands sitting in the chair behind her, exhausted from this entire situation.
Dean and Delilah had gone out on a hunt and were chasing down 2 suspects. Delilah had gotten one to the ground and was checking to see if he had the object they were looking for on him when she heard Dean shouting her name.
The next thing she knew Dean pushed her to the side and was holding his side where a bullet had just hit. Looking up she saw the other person holding a gun out and she shot them dead center and they fell to the ground.
“Dean. Dean, you okay? What the hell were you thinking jumping over like that” She ran over and grabbed his head. “What the hell were you thinking letting your guard down like that?” He groaned sitting up.
“Seriously. Dean I had it under control, that was stupid.” She took a step back. “No what’s stupid was almost letting yourself get killed on a rookie mistake.”
And that’s how the rest of the day went. The two of them going back and forth saying whatever came to mind. Sam and Castiel had grown tired of it and went to their rooms attempting to block out the yelling and get some sleep.
“You know what, I’m done with this. I’m going to sleep. In my own room!” Dean told her stomping off. They had usually stayed in one room, switching between Dean and Delilahs, but tonight they went to their separate spaces.
……………………………….
Around 2 in the morning, Dean was lying wide awake in bed staring up at the ceiling unable to sleep. His mind had been racing and every time he closed is eyes, nightmares threatened to come. Usually Delilah helped calm the dreams but she wasn’t with him now.
Delilah had been in her own room with the same issue. Freezing and anxious. Throughout the night she was move closer to Dean and steal his heat, and Dean didn’t mind one bit. She had also gone through experiences in her life that left her with terrifying memories. They had helped each other.
Another 30 minutes later Delilah heard her door open and looked over seeing Dean walking in his face still upset yet tired. He walked over to the bed and climbed in not saying anything and wrapped his arms around Delilah.
Delilah turned over and rested her head in the crook of his neck and tangled their legs together, the cold feeling she had slipping away. Dean let out a breath of relief and closed his eyes starting to fall asleep.
“I’m still upset.” Dean whispered almost asleep. “Me too.” Delilah told him. He pressed a kiss to her head and they both fell asleep, they could continue arguing in the morning.

Unbroken Promises-Derek Hale (p5)
Delilah P.O.V:
I was sitting at the top of the steps watching as Erica and Isaac dragged Jackson into the middle of the room. Usually I’d be against this type of method Derek uses, but this kids a little jackass so I’ll allow it this once.
“What happened to you on the night of the full moon?” Derek asked from his spot in the corner, “What?” Jackson asked slightly agrivated, “Nothing. Nothing happened.”
Dered looked up at him, “You’re lying.” Jackson at this point was breathing heavily. Derek started putting on gloves and Jackson got even more anxious “No, wait! No, wait! I can—I can prove it. I taped myself.”
Isaac and Derek laughed, and I gotta admit I did too, what the hell is he trying to say? “You taped yourself?” Isaac asked him amused.
Jackson looked at him and started getting angry, “Yes, it was the full moon. And maybe, while you were curled in the corner having an existential crisis about turning into a monster, I was preparing for the gift your so-called Alpha promised me. And what did I get? Nothing.”
I leaned forward on my knees. His body’s rejecting the bite if nothing happened. Or he’s the Kanima-either way he’s screwed.
“You want proof? Let me get the video.” Jackson tried to bargain. Derek smiled to himself then shook his head, “No.” He pulled the broken piece of the mirror out from behind his back. “No, I have a better idea.”
Jackson’s eyes filled with panic. “What is that?” He asked as Isaac and Erica got him on his knees. Derek stood up and started walking over to him. Jackson was struggling but Isaac held his mouth open.
“You know, Jackson, you’ve always been kind of a snake, and everyone knows a snake can’t be poisoned by its own venom.”
He then walked closer and tilted the mirror over Jakson’s mouth as some of the Kanima goo dropped inside. Erica and Isaac let him go as Jackson froze up unable to move.
Sooo, not the Kanima. Isaac and Derek looked at each other and Derek sighed, then walked over and crouched next to the frozen boy.
“You’re still a snake Jackson. Just not the one we’re looking for.” Then he walked up the stairs towards me and before we left I heard Isaac downstairs, “You’re still gonna have to do one more thing for us. Well, actually, for me.” Then he walked up the stairs to us and the three of us drove to the loft, Erica got into her own.
…………………..
Derek P.O.V:
We got back to the loft and Isaac immediately went over to the fridge, searching through it like I don’t feed him-well, like Delilah doesn’t feed him. Lilah and the twins have been staying over more often, and it’s perfect. Having the three of them, and I guess Isaac sometimes, is the best part of my life.
Boyd was at the counter on his phone talking to Isaac about what happened with Jackson, and Delilah was outside on the phone. When she walked in she looked stressed and walked over dropping her head on my chest, something she’s done since we were ini highschool. I laughed and wrapped my arms around her. “What’s wrong?”
She looked up at me, “There was a pipe burst at the school so now I gotta go pick up Eli and Liah but my mom really needs my help at the diner. So I called Melissa but she’s working a double tonight and I know you have to find out what’s going on with the lizard—which means I have to find a last minute sitter—”
“We can watch them.” We turned around and saw Isaac and Boyd looking at with a bag of chips between them. “What?” I asked.
“Now that I’m not longer wanted by the sherrif station I can go out again, so me and Boyd can take them to the arcade or something.” Boyd nodded seeming okay with the idea. I looked down at Delilah and she looked like she was thinking about it, “You guys wouldn’t mind?” She asked.
They shook their heads, then Lilah looked up at me, “I’m good with it.” I nodded and she smiled thanking the boys then calling the school letting them know that Isaac and Boyd would be picking up the twins.
I walked over to the two of them and grabbed the back of their necks draggin them over to the window, the two of them wincing. “Listen to me very carefully. If anything-and I mean anything, happens to either of the twins, the bones I have broken so far will be nothing compared to what I will do. Understand.” They both started nodding quickly.
Isaac looked back, “We are however going to need a mode of transportation.” I glared at him and pulled my keys out of my pocket putting them in Boyds hand. Isaac’s jaw dropped, and Boyd smirked at him.
Delilah walked back in and clapped her hands, “Alright everythings ready, thanks again guys.” I walked back over to her, “Are you completely sure about this?” She smiled and kissed me before reaching into my back pocket causing my eyes to go wide. Lilah laughed and pulled back holding up my wallet.
I glared at her, “Seriously.” She shrugged, “For the twins.” I rolled my eyes. She walked over and handed my card again to Boyd. They better be smart about this.
…………………..
Isaac P.O.V:
Boyd and I walked downstairs and made our way to Derek’s car, “Can’t believe he gave you the keys.” I grumbled buckling my seatbelt. He laughed and started the car putting the school into the GPS.
Atleast I was able to pick the music, and we listened to my favorite playlists the whole way there. When we pulled up to the front of the school I got out and walked inside to the check-in counter. “Hi I’m picking up Eli and Thalia Hale.”
The lady at the front desk gave me the bitchiest look I’ve ever seen. Is she really allowed to work with children? “And what is your realtion to them?” I rested my hands on the desk, “I’m their brother.” I told her smiling.
She looked me up and down the rolled her eyes. Again I say, bitch. “You’ll have to sign them out on that form.” I looked over and pulled the clipboard over to me filling out all the spots. “Isaac!” I turned to my right and saw Eli running towards me.
I smiled big and picked him up placing him on my side. “Hey kid, you’re hanging out with me and Boyd today. That cool with you?” He nodded quickly. Something hit my leg and I looked down seeing Thalia with a slight frown. “Hi Izzy.”
I picked her up and she put her head on my shoulder, I’d have to ask her about that in the car. “Hi hon, do you know this man?” The front desk lady asked not changing her expression for the twins, Eli gave her a sass face, “He’s our brother lady.”
I pursed my lips trying not to laugh and she glared at me before going back to her computer. I walked outside towards the car with them and Eli turned to me, “Mommy doesn’t like her.” I laughed out loud this time, “Yeah me neighter buddy.”
I set them down and Eli ran over to the other side of the car and got in his car seat, buckling himself in-then started talking to Boyd. I helped Thaliah in the car and grabbed her bag, the crouched down next to her level.
“Hey T, what’s wrong?” She looked up at me with sad eyes that broke my heart. “Tyler.” Who is this Tyler and what do I have to do to him?
“Who’s that bubs?” I asked. “He’s the boy that sits next to me and he keeps annoying me. Like he kicks my foot and takes my pen all the time.” I dropped my head, “Lia, I think he has a crush on you.” Boyd answered for me, she furrowed her eyebrows, “Sometimes when a boy likes a girl he teases her, or annoys her.”
She scrunched up her face, “But boys are weird.” I smiled and hugged her, “Always think that Thal, never fall in love please. No ones good enough.” She smiled and hugged me back already her bouncy happy self again.
I got in the car and Boyd drove off towards the arcade. Now back to themselves, Eli and Thalia chattered away in the back seat, so much that I was slightly relieved when we parked.
Making our way inside their eyes got huge and went to run off but Boyd and I caught them, “Not so fast.” He said with Thalia in his arms. “You guys gotta stay by us okay?” They groaned but nodded.
We walked up to the counter and a girl walked over, “Hi, how can I help you?” I handed her Derek’s card which I had swiped from Boyd in the car. “Can we fill a card up please.” She nodded, “Sure how much?” I looked at Boyd and we smiled, “$100 please. We’ll probably be back for more later.” I joked.
She smiled and walked to the back to fill the game card. Boyd pulled out his phone and read me the text he got, “Derek said he saw the charge on his phone.” “And?” “He said he’s going to kill us.”
I laughed and put Thalia down next to Eli and told them to smile, they did and it was clear they were incredibly happy being here and spending all their dad’s money. Boyd laughed and sent a photo to Derek who left him on ‘read’.
The girl came back with the cards and handed back both. “Have fun.”
“Alright guys, where to first?” They looked at eachother and thought for a moment before announcing at the same time, “Claw machine.” The, exact, same, time. That’s never gonna not be creepy.
“Alright claw machine it is.” Boyd grabbed Eli’s hand and I grabbed Thalia’s as we made our way to the back. After trying several times and getting nothing the twins started to give up but I looked at Boyd and tilted my head towards the back of the machine. He nodded and walked around to stand there.
“Alright let’s try again.” I told them swiping the card on each of their machines. This time however they had a little extra help, and as the claw missed a toy, Boyd gave the games a slight push and 3 stuffed animals fell into each slot. Thalia and Eli started jumping up and down beyond excited.
And that’s how most of the day went. Eli and Thalia trying to win certain things, me and Boyd giving them some help. We were now at the racing games and the twins were going against eachother on Mario Kart. Eli won in the end and Thalia groaned tilting her head back in the chair to look at me.
“Can you and Boyd race now?” I looked at him and shrugged, “Sure.” We went to walk over to the bigger car racers, but they pulled out hands, “No you gotta do this one.” Boyd and I looked at eachother and groaned before trying to manuver into the seats.
I looked over and started laughing seeing him in the child size chair. “Shut up.” I calmed down after a little and we started our race, getting surprisingly competetive for a kids game. I won in the end after cheating a little but he doesn’t have to know. “Alright guys where to next?”
I turned around and didn’t see either twin. Shooting up out of the chairs Boyd and I started running around calling their names, but ran into each other again, “Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit. Derek’s going to murder us. Like he’s seriously going to—I don’t even know what he’s going to do. He’s going to invent a new way to kill us.”
I ran my hands through my hair pacing back and forth. I had one job, one job and I lost my little brother and sister. “Forget Derek, what about Delilah?” Boyd mentioned, “I mean we lost her kids, she’s going to be a complete mess-” I grabbed the front of his shirt, “You’re, not, helping!”
“Uh oh!” Boyd showed me his phone and I saw Derek’s number flashing across it. “Can we just not answer?” I asked, “No he’s going to think somethings wrong.” he answered. “Something is wrong!”
“I know that stop yelling!” “Well now you’re yelling!” The phone turned off and our eyes went wide as we looked at each other. Then it lit up again with Derek’s number flashing. Boyd pressed answer and put it on speaker.
“Hey Der, what’s up?” he asked trying to calm his voice. “Hey. Everything okay over there? Where’s the twins?” I cleared my throat before speaking up, “Everythings great, they’re playing a game and really into it, so we should—”
Derek cut me off, “Isaac put them on the phone.” I swear at that moment I could’ve started crying. “Listen I would but they’re really into this game. Last time they lost focus I swear I thought they were going to break something. But we’ll call you back when they’re finished.”
There was silence for a second then a sigh, “Alright fine—but what are you guys buying. Seriously what the hell?” I started checking my pockets, Derek’s card was gone…maybe this is why Delilah gave it to Boyd.
“Uh, which purchases are you talking about? Cause I think they’re all pretty normal.” Boyd asked. “Normal? $75 candy store, $50 pet store, what were you even doing at the pet store?”
I looked at Boyd, oh crap. No, no, no, no, please no. “Yeah those sound pretty normal to me—hey listen we gotta go but we’ll call as soon as the twins are done.” Without another word Boyd hung up and we ran out to the pet store.
The twins had asked when we got here if they could get a dog, but we figured they meant like a stuffed animal or something from the prize counter. But there’s no way a store would just sell a dog to two little kids. Right?
Well I couldn’t have been more wrong. We got to the pet store and I saw Eli and Thalia walking out, and Thalia had a puppy in her arms, the two of them smiling big. “Hi Izzy.” Thalia said as we got to them.
“Where were you guys!” Boyd asked picking Eli up. I picked Lia, and well the dog, up and grabbed the credit card that was in her hand. “Doggy store.” Eli strugged like it was no big deal. “We told you guys to stay by us.” I told them walking back into the pet store.
Hopefully they have a return policy on dogs. “But you guys were racing.” I sighed and Boyd and I placed them on the counter, “You guys can’t run off like that we thought we lost you.”
They looked down, “We’re sorry.” “It’s okay guys but stay by us from now on. Okay?” They nodded and I was reminded of the animal Thalia was holding when it barked and started licking my hand.
“Can we keep him?” I shook my head, “Sorry guys, he’s gotta go back.” A man walked up to the counter, “Actually he can’t. We don’t accept returns of dogs after they’ve been sold.”
I looked over at him, “Who the hell sells a dog to two children!” He shrugged, “A sales a sale.” Before I could get angry Boyd shook his head and pulled us out of the store. “Alright I guess the dogs here to stay.” he told them.
“Does he have a name?” I asked and they started smiling big and nodded. “Isaac.” They shouted. Boyd scoffed and I smiled at him. “Alright, I think we’ve had enough fun today, wanna head home?” He asked clearly jealous.
“Alright, but first things first.” I called Derek who immediately answered, “Hi daddy!” The twins shouted and we could hear him sigh in relief, “Hey guys. You headed home?” They nodded, “Yeah.”
“Alright well I’ll see you soon. Love you guys.” This time even Boyd and I answered, “Aww you’re too sweet.” “We love you Der Bear.” Then I hung up and we walked out to the parking lot.
The whole time Boyd was trying to convince the twins to name the dog after him but they kept shooting the idea down. “No, his names Isaac.”
………………….
We walked in the loft and saw Derek and Delilah sitting at the kitchen counter with a bowl of fruit in front of them. We left other Isaac outside the door with Boyd as a surprise. “Hi mommy, hi daddy.” Eli ran over. I was holding Thalia who claimed she was too tired to walk.
“Hey bubba, how was your day?” Delilah picked him up and kissed him on the head. “It was amazing, Izzy and Boyd took us to the arcade.” “Oh they did, did they?”
Derek walked over to me holding his hand out. I placed his credit card in his hand as well as his keys. “Where’s Boyd?” I nodded my head towards the door and he walked over pulling it open.
As soon as it was completely open dog Isaac ran through is legs towards Eli who was sitting on the floor waiting for him. It started to lick his face and Eli laughed petting him. “What. The. Hell. Is. That?” Derek asked me and Boyd.
Thalia answered in a tired voice, her head still on my shoulder, “That’s Isaac. He’s our new dog. But we can call him Isy.” I smiled at Derek who’s eyes were wide. Delilah walked over to dog Isaac and picked him up. “Hello cutie. Oh Derek he is actually really cute. Hi Isy.” She started petting him.
Derek shook his head, “Nope, no dog.” Eli groaned and walked over dropping his head on Derek’s leg then looked up at him, “Pleaaaaase.” He made his best puppy dog eyes, Derek looked at him and tried not to give in but we all knew that wasn’t possible.
He picked Eli up, “Fine-but you guys are going to have to take care of him.” Eli started nodding quickly, “We will.” Derek set him down and he ran over to Delilah who was now sitting on the floor. Boyd dropped all the stuffed animals, and dog toys, and pretty much everything else that the twins got today on the couch.
“Alright, well I’m out. I gotta head home.” We all waved at him and I looked down, Thalia had fallen asleep, I walked over to the couch finding the one empty spot and sat down on it, feeling the tiredness as well.
These two really take the energy out of me. “Izzy?” I looked down and hummed, “you’re a good big brother.” Thalia whispered before placing her head in the crook of my neck and falling asleep again.
I smiled to myself and hugged her before turning and laying my head down on a giant turtle with my feet resting on the end of the couch—falling asleep too.
Derek P.O.V:
“You’re a good big brother.” I heard Thalia say before she and Isaac fell asleep on the couch. I smiled and walked over sitting next to Delilah. Eli was running around with dog Isaac, I’m surprised he’s still awake, it’s like he has an endless suply of energy.
“She’s right you know,” Delilah said, “he is a good big brother.” I nodded, “Yeah he is.” I’m glad the twins have him. He’s a good kid and didn’t deserve the life he had before this. But he’s with us now.
Isy ran over and jumped in my lap looking up at me. “Hey, you’re not so bad.” I petted him and he crawled over in Delilah’s lap falling asleep. Eli walked over slowly and sat in my lap, “What’s up little man?”
He leaned his head back, “Tired.” is all he said before falling asleep. I laughed and picked him up carrying him to what was now his and Thalia’s room. Walking out I saw Delilah on her phone, Isy asleep as well.
I went to move Thalia to the room but decided against it and just placed a blanket over her and Isaac. “Night kid.”

Day Off-Sam Winchester
Summary: Sam and his girlfriend Avery are left in the motel room on a free day, Dean off doing what Dean does, leaving the couple to decide what to do.
“Alright guys I’m headed out. Call if you need anything, and if you’re going to have sex, just keep it away from my side of the room.” Dean told the couple making a face before heading out the door. Avery and Sam heard the sound of the Impala getting softer and softer knowing he was finally gone.
“So,” Sam looked over at Avery from his spot at the kitchen table, “what do you want to do?” Avery got up stretched then walked over to the bed and dropped down in the middle, “I want to sleep.” Sam laughed, “We have a free day, and you want to sleep?”
Avery hummed a responce and settled into the pillows more. “Mhm, sleeeeeeep.” Sam looked over and saw that she had dozed off and started looking around for things he could do, eventually settling on reading a book. He had ended up on Dean’s bed because Avery had been stretched out in the middle of theirs.
30 minutes later, Avery started to stir and opened her eyes looking over to see Sam, he was lying on his back with a book propped up on his knees, something random he found about greek myth.
She decided to let him have time to read his book and walked over pressing a kiss to his forehead before going to the desk and scrolling on her phone.
25 more minutes had passsed and Avery was getting bored. She was now spinning in circles in the desk chair, her head back as she stared at the ceiling. Looking over at her boyfriend she let out a not so subtle sigh hoping to get his attention.
“Sam?” She whispered but got no response. “Saaammmy?” Again nothing. Groaning she picked up a book that was at the desk and tried to distract herself. Avery flipped through a few pages not reading any of them then groaned and slid down in the chair onto the floor.
Sam was deep into reading, already halfway through his book, when he felt something resting on his knees but didn’t look up. “Hm?” He asked only half paying attention.
“Saaaaaam.” He looked up and saw his girlfriend staring down at him pouting. Sam started laughing and close the book but stayed in his spot, “Can I help you?” Avery rolled her eyes and groaned, “Can we do something?” Sam laughed again “I thought you were tired.” He teased her.
“I’m not anymore. Can we please do something?” Sam smiled and sat up pressing a kiss to her lips, “Okay, what do you want to do? Anything, it’s up to you.” He told her. Avery sat there for a minute thinking before a soft smile set on her face, “I want…” She moved from her spot resting on her knees to lying beside him and put her head on his chest. “To stay right here with you.” She said closing her eyes.
Sam wrapped his arms around her and started laughing, “You just woke up. Don’t you want to go out? See a movie, get food, something like that.” She shook her head and draped an arm over him, “Nah, just wanna be with you.”
“Can I read my book while we lay here?” He asked softly as he ran his fingers through her hair. Avery laughed and nodded, so he picked up his book and started where he left off.
Sam eventually finished his book and placed it on the bedside table, wrapping his arms tighter around his sleeping girlfriend and dozing off himself. But before he could fully fall asleep the motel room door swung open, “Oh what the hell? I told you to stay off my bed!”
Avery woke up and her and Sam started laughing, “Realx Dean we just fell asleep.” He threw his hands in the air, “You know you guys have a perfectly good bed right there.” The two of them shrugged making Dean groan and give up his argument. Walking over to the fridge he pulled out a beer and went over plopping on the other bed. “Guess we’re switching.”
