In life we eventually come to a stage where all relationships cease. No parents, sisters, brothers, friends, or relatives. At this point we realize that there is no earth under us nor is there a sky above, but only Allah who is supporting us in this emptiness. This is when we grasp our worth. We realize that our existence is only confined to our being - to the role we play, and our demise makes not a whit of difference to the world around us, nor to the overall scheme of things.

Meri zindagi tau firaq hai Woh azal se dil mein makee'n sahi Woh nigah-e-shaug se door hain

Rag-e-jaan se lakh qareeb sahi Humein jaan deni hai aik din Woh kisi tarhan, woh kahin sahi

Sar-e-tor ho, sar-e-hashar ho Humein intezar qabool hai

woh kabhi milein, woh kahin milein woh kabhi sahi, woh kahin sahi
