Suggestions rather than rules: what's not going to be reblogged

this year I'm making the decision that while I won't stop you from making anything, I won't be reblogging certain topics. They can still be added to the ao3 collection, as I'm leaving it unmoderated and ao3 is better at filtering, but here on Tumblr it's a little harder to avoid even with filters. I'm basing it off of the major archive warnings on archive of our own.

Graphic Depictions of Violence: extreme gore. light is okay, blood is fine, violence is nearly unavoidable. It's based on the level of detail; if you think it's detailed enough to warrant the warning, use it

Major Character Death: There's nothing wrong with this one to be honest.

Rape/Noncon: just like with graphic violence, if you think it needs the warning, then it won't be shared

Underage: Hyrule Historia is a suggestion. Just don't mention age and you're good.

Hello! I wanted to ask about what kinks are allowed. You said extremely dark content is not allowed, but I wanted to double check just in case. What about knifeplay, bloodplay (or blood in general), choking, CNC, dub-con? Genuine question.

Yeah all of the above would be fine! I used the ao3 warnings as a guide because it's easiest to say but it's ghiralink, absolutely no warnings is hard to do lol. It's not that anything isn't allowed, per se, but more that I personally don't want to deal with complaints people have had in the past (for and against)

It's mostly just up to the discretion of the author/artist, if they decide their work needs one of the major archive of our own warnings then I won't reblog it here. Ao3 has better filtering so honestly I'm going to open the collection and let people post to it without much moderation

hi all! i'm bella (@dykevirgo on tumblr/AO3 and #virgo0916 on discord) and i'm another mod for ghiralink week this year. i'm based in EST time zone and i'm awake and in bed early (so don't expect to see me online at 3am my time 😅).

i will be helping moderate all over but specifically focusing on the tumblr (both NSFW and regular) in terms of reblogging posts from the tag and such. i work full time during the day so i’m mostly available first thing in the morning or in the afternoons. i love ghiralink (and i love ghiralink week) so naturally i volunteered to help cherry out this year 😁
