npd culture is even though i have friends who say “let me know if youre low on supply ill help you out” i never tell them because then it sounds insincere. i dont want pity supply. i dont want crumbs because im starving. i want genuine without-underlying-intention compliments and praise. i know youre trying to help but itd just make it worse. please dont do that

okay but shoutout to pwnpd who ARE kinda toxic sometimes. youre not evil or playing into abuser stereotypes by not having perfect control of your symptoms 100% of the time. its a disorder for a reason, if it didnt affect you badly it wouldnt be npd. its not your fault, even if it is your responsibility to make up for it.

People with NPD are not evil people who are out to get you. They're people who went through trauma and have to live their lives as much as they can. A lot of times, pwNPD turn out to still hate themselves. Maybe not as much as they hate other people but still.

PwNPD are humans who still deserve love and support. When I try to look up how to help a narc crash, I shouldn't have to find 20+ articles on how to cause one.

Would you treat someone with PTSD like this? No? Then why treat us? We also had trauma, just because we cope differently doesn't mean we're evil
