Consistently dropping anvils about Caryl

It never (at least so far) ceases to amaze me how people ignore Daryl's IMO obvious feelings for Carol on the account of him wanting everyone to be safe, him being a good decent man that tries to save everyone and provide for everyone. When he thinks you are good people, when he chooses you, you are his.

BUT.

Many things that have happened with Carol, haven't happened with everyone, or anyone else.

Just to name a few (though there are so many more)

1) The whole deal with looking for Sophia and the cherokee roses

2) Him getting bashful and flustered etc when she flirts

3) ...in fact, we are never shown anyone else flirting with him, though someone must have, however innocently 🤔

4) He recognized her knife

5) He had difficulty preparing himself to meet her as a walker

6) He is furious when she gets banished. Take notice that Rick does this when Daryl is away; not a coinsidence. Rick isn't as emotionally blind as he sometimes seems.

7) That absolutely intimate, desperate hug with actual nuzzling. I repeat, nuzzling. From Daryl.

8) When this happens.

9) When he tells Carol he isn't interested in Connie

10) When he lets her cut his hair and caress it. And has that look on his face while she does.

11) The bracelet and New Mexico

12) His absolute forgiveness.

13) Finally, the way he just looks at her, from season two on. Even when they are unsure about where they stand. Daryl is an observer, yes, but I haven't seen him look at anyone else quite like the way he does Carol.

Point is moot, though, as these people don't want to see it, and when it happens they are gonna be like "this came out of nowhere!?". Bless them.
