About

Novo Empower Counselling

Neha is a registered counsellor and psychotherapist with the Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia. She has over a decade of experience helping people living with HIV/AIDS, mental health issues and severe physical disabilities. She has worked in a clinical capacity in community health, drug and alcohol services and homelessness.

Neha has extensive experience working with adults across a range of issues; trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, drug dependency and coping with loss and adjustment. She believes at the core of ever human need is a need for connection. Her therapeutic approach not only reflects that but also makes her clients feel held and supported by the genuine love and compassion that she exudes. 

Counselling

I offer short and longer-term counselling to adults over the age of 18 years old. Key areas of my work include: trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties. 

Modalities/ Approach

I use a mixture of psychodynamic and person-centred therapy. I seek to help my clients increase their awareness of their ways of being in the world. 

Quality Provision

My training as a Counsellor was undertaken at the University of Western Sydney. I continue to undertake professional development and training.
