There’s a theory about pattern recognition where you don’t even have to look at the clues anymore, but I found that going across instead of down helps because the sequence of saccades and fixations in traditional reading assist with other oculomotor tasks such as solving crossword puzzles.

I do believe that we would do a lot more damage to them than vice versa. Everyone has set views, and not necessarily the best, therefore they would not give them a chance. They would threaten to destroy them and send them back to where they came from, before hearing them out - or trying to communicate.

If we ever actually found aliens, I don’t think we’d be nice to them.  If they were to just land on earth and say hi to everyone, I think everyone would freak out.  Like, look at these illegal immigrants!  Trump would build a wall.
