ACTIVITY NOTICE.

i put my blogs on hiatus some time ago with the hope that i would eventually come back to bagley. after some consideration, i’ve decided that while i may return to tumblr rp, i will not be returning to this blog. bagley isn’t a very stable muse for me; i haven’t been here in so long i nearly forgot i was even writing him. though i would like to keep writing him, i have so little muse for him nowadays that i wouldn’t be able to enjoy it if i did. i will keep the blog up for archiving purposes.

i think i need to go on hiatus for a while. ( technically i already am on hiatus, but figured i'd let you know instead of dropping off the face of the earth for months again. ) it's become hard to focus on my blogs without my anxiety deciding to ruin any muse / energy i have, on top of school. i feel like i'm pressuring myself to be here, and i can't do that to myself. it isn't healthy.

i'll come back when i don't feel so stressed out, whenever that is. if you don't already have my discord and want to chat feel free to dm me and ask for it.

the hermit who helps

at first, you were a resource for the established characters to turn to, but you quickly began to steal the show due to your personality, your usefulness, or your inherently interesting perspective on life. you were pretty much already able to provide for yourself, but the next thing you know, these people are growing on you. instead of asking favors, it becomes an invitation to socialize. you find yourself sticking around for no apparent reason other than you like it here. the people are fun to watch, if nothing else, but ultimately they're just--oh no. oh no, you care about them. you always thought you stayed away from this "relationship" stuff for a reason. it gets messy and isn't worth it unless it really works. for some reason, this group really works. these weirdos are now your weirdos, and if anything happens to them, there will be hell to pay. you were basically already looking after them before this, after all. welcome to the family, hermit.

whoops i made another verse. details under the cut bc this might get long.

in this verse, skye receives her diagnosis ( it’s not said in-game what she has, although i’m assuming it’s something like motor neuron disease / lou gehrig’s which is what sinead had ) while bradley is still undergoing treatment for his epilepsy. because of this, the treatments never progress to the stage where bradley would develop dementia. as her disease progresses, skye retreats from the public eye and asks her brother to take over as ceo of broca tech. he agrees.

even though he isn’t a genius like his sister, bradley learns. and learns. and learns. he’s coming at this the same way he comes at rowing -- determined and focused. he’s got to carry on his sister’s plans, after all, and he can’t do that if he doesn’t know what he’s working with. he surprises himself at how quickly he takes to it. it’s like a hunger, one he didn’t even know he had. a hunger for knowledge. always wanting more. ( he wants to know everything. )

bradley knows what really happened to sinead. doesn’t stop him from using the neural mapping technology -- but really, what’s science without a few mishaps here and there?

as you can probably tell, personality wise this bradley is not the same as canon bagley / bradley in other verses. he’s not evil per se, his morals are just a lot more loose. especially with regards to neural mapping / project daybreak.

speaking of bradley and neural mapping, he’s done some experiments on himself after skye gave him access to her labs. i’ll write more on this later probably. ( hey, if ubi can give one of the dlc characters the power to hack people with her mind, then i can give bradley powers. shh. )

hey psa but when people post headcanons, or metas, or even random little posts with a fun fact about their muse, like the post. if you don’t want to clutter your likes, comment with a ( ❤️️ ) emoji. interact with the people you follow. everyone has posted something about their muse before that they were excited about that no one acknowledged, and everyone knows how disheartening it is. it doesn’t take long or cost you anything, and it could literally make someone’s day. i think we as a community need to try harder to appreciate and encourage everyone’s effort in developing their characters, especially if they’re your mutuals. if you follow someone, show them why.

bagley’s bravery comes from a place of strength and determination, because he has already seen the worst the world can throw at him. he is an indescribable force, and once you’ve won him over, you have the greatest and most loyal friend on your side. bagley will move mountains for those dear to him, so make sure to never hurt his loved ones.

bradley chose: too nice.

the version of bradley that you see depends on the way you treat him. never mistake his kindness for weakness; he has a heart of gold, but it won’t end well if you make him angry. bradley may be quick to forgive you, but he will never forget the people who have wronged him.
