Everytime Muichiro got injured, he just zoomed in the butterfly estate, looking for Aoi. She saw him and just understood immediately.

Aoi was belittle for not joining in slaying demons after the final selection by some other slayers but after Muichiro gave them 'friendly' warning, no one made fun on Aoi again.

Muichiro thought Inosuke was being a nuisance to Aoi lately but she stopped him. It was then Mui realized there's something going on between those two. He's okay with it, but he doesn't like that Inosuke keeps finishing Aoi's tempura.

Aoi is quite envy of Mui, who is much younger than her but has gain the title of a Hashira. Muichiro assures her that this does not make her less anything and he respects her. Kanae and Shinobu are relief to see Aoi and Muichiro friendship.

Aoi had heard a blasphemy of no sweet onigiri and so... this is how they ended up here. her school's test kitchen after dark, togame by the table and her running around like diracell bunny on crack. her hands moved with fluidity of a master, the reason she got a full ride to this university and her professors loved her-- something she was so, so proud of. her hands dipped into water to shape rice into onigiri's signature triangle shape, filled with delicious bean paste and then drizzled with brown sugar sauce.

"Here you go!" She said, pushing the plate to him with eagerness only someone who TRULY loved what they did could muster. "Try it."

online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted was sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.

and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.
