"Jimmy O. Yang, Chloe Bennet, and Ronny Chieng are trapped in a procedural in the first images from Interior Chinatown. They're characters on a TV show inside a TV show, with no way to escape. All ten episodes of the Hulu miniseries will drop on Hulu on November 19.
The new images give us a first look at Yang as Willis Wu, a background character in the Law & Order-like procedural TV series Black & White. He longs to become a more important character, but when he witnesses a murder, he finds himself becoming part of a larger world than he ever imagined. Helping him are Fatty Choi (Chieng), his best friend and a devotee of video games and malted beverages, and Detective Lana Lee (Bennet), a new lead character on Black & White. The series is based on Charles Yu's award-winning novel of the same name, which examines Asian-American stereotypes in the media with a humorous metafictional twist."

The Franchise (prod. Jon Brown).
HBO mocks Marvel's superhero shared-universe content-making machine in their satirical series set on the production of a fictional big budget blockbuster comic book film adaptation called "Tecto" starring a earthquake controlling hero (Billy Magnussen). Packed with in-jokes about the absurdities of contemporary filmmaking, there's a breakneck pace and dire exasperation to its beaten down characters struggling to do their jobs amidst the battle of egos on set with increasingly wilder demands.

Psych was correct. When you're 100% sure of your conclusion, but it's based off of evidence that only you can see (because it's obscure, easily dismissed, or requires a lot of prior context), it's genuinely better to just say "I had a psychic vision" or something like that. People are more willing to believe you have mystical powers than that they just missed something you found obvious.

ASTEROID CITY (2023) dir. Wes Anderson
In my loneliness, and perhaps because of it, I've learned not to judge people, to take people as I find them, not as others find them. And most of all, to give complete and unquestioning faith to the people I love.
