Selected pictures to illustrate this morning’s walk. I started when it was still darkish (1) and walked along the park fence up toward the dog park to look past the big oak and across the park toward sunrise(2). I had planned to walk home from there but as you see in the 3rd picture the clouds started to light up. How could I go?
I gave in to the beauty and walked downhill through the snow (carefully) toward the stream and saw softer colors in the sky to the north (4). I admired the rough bark of the big black locust tree (5) and the looked toward the little stone bridge as the new day’s light lit up the stream (6). From the green bridge I looked across the north lawn of the park toward the north entrance to the woods (7) and reluctantly started back, passing the same big oak from below, now lit by brilliant first light and with the gibbous moon shining over it (8), and from there walked under the oldest Norway spruce in the park, seeing the gold morning light shining through the sakura cherry trees that will be full of bloom in a few months (9). And then finally I was back at the fence (10) and from there back on the road where walking was much easier.
I have many more pictures and I’m not sure I chose the best ones. I kept meaning to go home but everywhere I turned beauty was beckoning and as I’m sure you know by now I can’t resist its charms!

WILLOW - run!
During her interview with Rolling Stone, Willow stated, "I wanted [this song] to feel like you're on the verge of a panic attack."
Mission accomplished, Ms. Smith. Distorted, breathy vocal display to portray racing thoughts, uneasiness, and skipping breaths with a production to match. Black and white visuals to depict inner turmoil and entrapment before progressing in color to evoke freedom. This young lady is ridiculous.
A pen game, can sing her ass off, a visionary, and a multi-instrumentalist? I don't wanna see her name in none of those damn nepotism convos. Pure talent.
"Run!" is featured on her newly released sixth album, empathogen. Solid project. But my only gripe is that half of the songs are too short. Idk who started this trend of condensed track duration. This is not the days of Motown patterning the song structure of gospel music because that's certainly isn't even the execution. I want full songs. Nonetheless, Willow just keeps getting better and better musically and I'm happy that this is her outlet.

So crazy that my husband had two lemon-sized tumors removed from his brain and he’s. Fine? Like obviously he had a long recovery, and he’s noticed some discrepancies in his memory and processing speed compared to before, but he’s had virtually no permanent changes to his personality or his physical abilities. The human brain can withstand crazy stuff.
