my thoughts on the wwdits finale

they really destieled us a little no but why the constant nandermo teases??? the fanservice hypnosis thing?? what the fuck. oh yeah, "youll always be my master", "im going away forever youll never see me again byeee" and then the twist. nandor spent most of his screentime this episode staring longingly into guillermos eyes and for what? just to mock us. this had been such an emotional rollercoaster, not only nandermo but this whole damn episode. the unfinished plotline kinda bugs me but im not too mad about it, loved the fake endings when it didnt actually end that was pretty cool

ok let me get this straight gay

nandermo this season:

were made equals in episode 1 cuz it was made clear guillermo didn't work for him and also made it clear they they were taking a break from each other

ended up working at the same place the next episode with guillermo having a higher standing than nandor (which is the kinda start of them doing a swap in character this season) at a place called CANNON

went through a reenactment of their 1st meeting

had one FIRE the other (cuz he was told to) but did it in a way that felt like a breakup ON TOP OF THEIR BREAK UP (once again IN A PLACE CALLED CANNON)

had another argument that led to divorce number 10000 (again ON TOP OF THE BREAK UP)

were chill with each other enough to have weekend get aways with nadja (thanks to blackmail)

took an actual break from each other that ended with nandor attempting to rebound with the guide and guillermo and getting punched in the face (not cause of all of this but had to mention cuz it was funny)

had the guide flat-out reject nandor and told him TO HIS FACE how he loves while waiting for guillermo to save them

had nandor say GUILLERMO'S FAMILY IS HIS FAMILY right after guillermo came over to save their asses and before guillermo and his cousin got them tf out

had one try to warn the other about his boss's intentions at a big event for one of them (that he's there AS HIS FRIEND) which after another argument led to basically a call back to the pilot

back to back WENT OFF on guillermo's boss which lead to them chatting outside cannon about how nandor want to stick by guillermo's side, doesn't care that he isn't a vampire cause he belongs with his family of weirdos (YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH NANDOR SAYING GUILLERMO WILL NEVER BE A NORMAL HUMAN AND BELONGS WITH THEM MEANS TO ME), and WANTED TO BECOME CRIME FIGHTING PARTNERS

BASICALLY BECAME CANON OUTSIDE OF CANNON AND (partly) CAUSE OF CANNON

Okay but Jordan really highlights all the things Nandor NEVER was. He was never intentionally cruel. He was never using affection as a manipulation. He was never calculating in the things he did or didn't do for Guillermo. If anything, he held himself back from being as affectionate as he wanted.

The glitter portrait wasn't some cheap shitty little gift to appease Guillermo. It was an entire portrait Nandor made of fucking glitter by hand, of the two of them together forever. Jordan put a shitty print in a cheap frame and Guillermo definitely felt the parallel, but it is NOT the same and I hope he knows that.

Nandor was disgusted with Jordan's disdain and contempt because he never felt those things toward Guillermo. And when Guillermo called him out on his thoughtlessness, Nandor would apologize and/or try to make it right! And Nandor didn't wait so long to turn Guillermo just to keep him strung along. He waited because he was genuinely afraid Guillermo wouldn't thrive as a vampire.

Jordan literally highlights every way in which Nandor has ALWAYS cared for Guillermo far more than Guillermo knew or Nandor wanted to let on. I love these writers so fucking much.

Nandor has been doing the same shit over and over again since season 3. He distracts himself from his complicated relationship with Guillermo by looking for new love. That's nothing new.

I don’t think we acknowledge enough that the Guide’s whole thing is that she was cursed to a life of servitude to the Vampiric Council because she loved a Van Helsing. Like that seems relevant when we’re talking about her in relation to Nandor

okay so i just started watching wellington paranormal today and ive already got a theory

i know its a comedy show and all, but people there are stupid. Like, very stupid. I say it in the nicest way I can but there's no way that someone could be this stupid. I'm only on episode 6 and I think they could have some form of brain scramblies (like in the wwdits show). We know that's possible because both series happen in the same universe and we've seen both Minogue and O'leary get hypnotized. They act awfully similar to Sean Rinaldi from wwdits and we all know that he's got a serious case of it, right?

Idk if it's explained in later episodes or if they all act silly because it's just a silly show, but thought I'd just throw it out there lol
