Loneliness, when experienced by women, is treated like a joke. The stereotypical image of the crazy cat lady has been mocked for centuries, warning other women not to be too selective or too demanding, or else you'll end up like her.

When there was a female mental health crisis in the 2010's no one gave a flying fvck. Men were litteraly making memes about it and laughing at women with ED's. Men were never blamed for a thing.

But when men are lonely (when women refuse to engage with certain men) suddenly it's our fault and women are so shallow, society has failed men! It's an epidemic and a crisis requiring analysis by psychologists and hundreds of articles telling why these poor men are so lonely! Women should lower our standards.

Don't feel bad, it isn't your fault for not wanting to date men. We all know how bad the dating pool has gotten.

A year ago a family member was running in a triathalon. We gave her an AirTag to wear so we could make sure we saw her cross the finish line. Turns out AirTags are terrible for that, but that’s besides the point.

Once she finished the race, she used one of the portable restrooms. Well, the AirTag fell out and got irretrievably lodged between the floor and wall.

I ceremoniously renamed the AirTag to “Lenny the Latrine” and have, with inexplicable curiosity, watched the porta-potty make its way to different locations.

This caused a funny encounter with airport staff when my baggage was picked up by the wrong passenger, and I showed them the baggage AirTag driving down the road. They glimpsed Lenny on the page and decided to hold back their verbal questions, but their questions were still written all over their face.

I just got an alert saying the battery is low, so I know my time tracking Lenny the Latrine is nearing an end.

So long, Lenny.

i paint. and because someone told me that another student wanted to get his portrait done i approached this man who i have barely exchanged two sentences before and said "i heard you want to get painted. i'll do it for 500"

and it took as two very confusing and exparating minutes of haggling about the price and outlining the logistics of said painting during which i said sentences like "you can be naked if you want but that would be extra" and "what do you mean why would you pay me. i do all the work?" while he got increasingly more flushed until i put my foot down and said "well if you want to be painted baroque style that's gonna cost some money" and he said "oh my god PAINTED. that makes a lot more sense."

turns out he misheard me and thought a stranger. a random person. came up to him in the middle of the lecture hall in front of god and everyone and loudly and confidently said "i heard you want get pegged." and then got mad at his refusal to pay half a grand for it. can you fucking imagine
