I come bearing thoughts that won’t let me rest:

1) Did you know that the Appalachian Mountains run near South Carolina (the Palmetto State)? If you head deep into the mountains, the drive takes about 4.5 to 5 hours

There’s a good chance that in «The sunshine court» , the Foxes rented a cabin somewhere in that area

2) In 2006, a series of murders occurred in Oconee County, South Carolina. Bodies were found in the woods, and some reports even mentioned strange symbols and stone circles — though the police never officially addressed that part

In my headcanon, Nicky found a clipping from a local newspaper — and from that moment on, Wymack banned the team from going anywhere near Oconee County

3) There aren’t many major airports in the region. The closest one is Charleston International Airport — the main international airport in South Carolina. So it makes perfect sense that that’s where Andrew picked Neil up

4) What would Andrew smoke? :)

The obvious answer is Marlboro Reds. In 2006, they were the most popular cigarettes in the U.S., especially among men in their 20s and 30s

He definitely wouldn’t go for Winston, since their consumer base skewed older

So just imagine: one day, on some weird impulse, Andrew grabs a pack of Newport Menthols — a classic menthol brand. Of course, he smokes them like breathing. But Neil hates the taste. So Andrew tosses almost the whole pack and never touches menthol again

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone else point this out but Mary liked exy too. In like chapter three of tfc, Neil is remembering the little league games that she took him too, and she says that it was THE ONLY TIME HE REMEMBERED SEEING HER SMILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why does no one talk about this???? Why does no talk about the fact that the only reason Neil loves exy, and loved it as a kid was because Mary encouraged it. Look, I get it, the little league games were training for his Edgar Allen audition. But if that was all it was, she wouldn’t clap and cheer in the stands. She wouldn’t have SMILED.

Idk, this little detail is so telling to me, but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone bring it up ever.
