I still have a couple of special needs ‘mon that need rehoming if anyone is interested…! Anyone that doesn’t get adopted I will be keeping to care for, but with my plans moving forward it was not reasonable to keep all 37 of them. But!!

A special needs pokemon companion can be a very personal experience, and paired with the right trainer, they have so much potential. I hate seeing them left behind because they don’t all have the same type of appeal as battle or racing pokemon.

I’m not looking for payment. I just want to ensure that they will be loved.

As of so far, we have 55 mammals, 26 birds, 21 fish, 2 crustaceans, 18 invertebrates, 6 reptiles, 10 amphibians, 13 insects, 2 arachnids, and 4 extinct animals! Feel free to go crazy submitting animals for the smaller categories, as if a category is significantly small, it may be combined with another category if that is the way we decide to go with things. If not, variety is still nice :>

The Luxray is a male, and he’s rather timid. He’s actually mostly blind, so he’s rather skittish from not being able to see as well as he should. He was separated from his pack because of it, actually. He likes to keep close to trainers and Pokémon that he trusts.

Do you like animals? Would you like to see more of them? Have you ever decided what Tumblr's animal mascot would be if it had one? Well, what if we found out what our communal favorite skrunkly is?

Please submit an animal via scientific species name (feel free to include the common name if you'd like). You may submit more than one. The goal is at least 2,000 different animals of all different kinds to pit against each other.

I’d say so! They’re tender and have a nice sweet taste, and there are a ton of different ways to prepare them. I like mine sautéed tbh. Not worth the slowpoke poaching like what goes down in Azalea Town though!

You know what I want? I want a Midwestern America pokemon region. Not because I think it'd be cool or cool pokemon would come from it, no. It's purely because I live in the Midwest, and I wanna see a region where I feel at home. Like I can just stand in the middle of the corn fields (bcuz the region would have corn fields) while crying being like, "omg I can live at home in pokemon."

Life is good. I see a lot of trainers on rotomblr who are so focused on the things happening around them, and especially on the bad things, that a lot of you seem to be forgetting that life is still good. Not everything is about what’s happening in the moment, or what’s going to happen tomorrow. Sometimes life is good because the sun is shining, and because you can smell ripe Oran berries, and because on a hot summer day you can take a dip in the river and that cool rushing water will always be there for you. Sometimes life is good because of what’s around you, too.

In my experience, while not particularly aggressive, a hungry slowpoke can be a very determined force!! It was very nice of you to share with him :> Do you plan on keeping him around?
