so would you recomend getting pixark? ive been debating on it for a good while now and i would only be able to do it on console. i was always afraid it was just a rip off of ark but it looks interesting. so would you recommend it

Sorry this is so late! Whether or not you should get PixARK is a really subjective thing, to be perfectly honest. It’s still early access and as you’d expect there are glitches and imbalances that some people just won’t want to deal with. For me though, I don’t mind the oddities of prerelease games, and if PixARK follows ARK’s example I won’t have to pay anything for the full version when it’s finished so that’s part of it too. That said, personally I don’t regret buying it. I can see the potential for further development, and what’s already there is pretty enjoyable.

A couple of rabbits showed up in my base and now they’re just sitting there.

If the scanner says a mob is “active” it means aggressive, just FYI. Kinda wonder if whoever converted dung beetles actually played ARK though, as PixARK’s version are hostile. And really strong.

I respect your right to have an opinion, even if it is different from my own. I do however question why you felt the need to come on an ARK + PixARK blog and express this opinion.

It's the same parent company. Snail Games bought Wildcard, so now they have rights to the ARK IP. PixARK is kind of like a combination of multiple Snail IPs including ARK and Dark and Light.

The obelisks don’t seem to do anything yet, as there’s no boss to summon in the terminal and you can’t upload creatures. It’s also possible for the terminal to be buried.

I didn’t even know there were randomly generated dungeons, but there are! I’m not sure yet what you’re supposed to do with them though, as the mobs inside seem to be invincible. They’re invincible to bone weapons at least, not sure about animals.
