Fungi at Plotterkill Preserve- fun fact: many of our local trails have "kill" in the name as my region was founded by the Dutch, and "kill" is the Dutch word for "Creek." so Plotterkill just means Plotter Creek!

hi and welcome to my blog!
A little about me: I am a field biologist (in training) from the northeastern United States! I work with birds mostly, but also have experience in herpetology. I’m also a huge fan of mycology. Besides that, I’m an artist/ scientific illustrator, birdwatcher, and was a beekeeper!
This blog serves as a diary of my time as a naturalist, mostly in the northeast US, but also places that I travel to for my field jobs. Mostly I made this blog because I ran out of room on my phone for photos and would like to have an organized spot for them.
I will include photos from the past, as well as updating with photos from my newest adventures!
Thanks for stopping by!
