Initially, it was believed that the goblin is a spirit that arose in very ancient times. It was believed that ordinary people become goblins if their parents curse them. Other beliefs say that these are the dead who have sinned too much in life, therefore, even after death, the human spirit does not find peace and becomes the spirit of the forest.
Their tasks included keeping order in the forest, helping animals, removing diseased trees and chasing away spirits that harmed plants and animals.

Influenced by the House of the Dragon, Aymond One-Eyed Targaryen, Brotherslayer. According to the book, I didn’t like the Green line, but the series presented it this way ... That even such a creature can’t be especially disliked

Character of Slavic mythology, Polednice. The personification of noon as a dangerous time of day for a person in Russian and West Slavic mythology. The origin of the image is associated with the personification of a sunstroke, the special atmosphere of a hot noon and the remnants of beliefs in ancient deities and demons.
