here’s the plan for this weekend.

finish all the replies owed first and foremost. there’s a lot of them. more than i had thought i’d ever get with this silly blog or the equally silly greeters that i post. then i’ll tackle the greeters i owe, which there are a lot of those as well.

(seriously took a week off because of illness, and suddenly there’s an endless stream of things i need to do. i love it. since this weekend is probably going to be one of the quieter ones for my personal life, and i have off today through tuesday, so lots of time to bother other players and write.)

but first, i’m going to nap. still technically in recover mode and i’m just tired.

it had always been a bit of surprise when someone reached out to him. particularly when that someone wasn’t a decepticon merely checking in or sending him a report on whatever assignment they had been tasked with. though an autobot possibly being indebted to him? it had a certain appeal to it.

the ping was returned, not nearly as hesitant as the autobot or as cautious as he should have been. in an odd twist, it had been a bit curious if anything at all--but still nothing more than a ping. if the other wanted something, soundwave would consider it.

he won’t be able to simply upset this one. the autobots didn’t deserve him; most of their soldiers meekly fell into soundwave’s webs, but this one? no. he did allow the autobot to know--know that the officer was watching him. he slithered the cold, eerie connection in place; he pawed at mental walls but did not move past them, instead pulling back and disconnecting.

the autobot should consider himself lucky.
