Also, I love that Caleb did not answer any of Imogen's questions about what she should choose. Not only because they've been given so much advice about what they should do, what's right or what's better, but because, if I remember correctly, Liam specified that Caleb walked into the T-Dock fully prepared to follow through on his plan to go back in time and save his parents, that he did not know until the moment he acted that he would choose otherwise. And even as a child, he was so sure until he wasn't. Up until the moment he broke, Bren was prepared to follow through on everything that was asked of him.

Caleb is too aware that the only action that matters is the one you take when it comes down to the wire, and he didn't comfort or coddle Imogen by pretending otherwise.

The Essek dice set is finally mine after craving and then falling out of fixation to then slam back in with the return of Hot Boi No. 1 💜 Yes I got the Caleb dice as well. The numbers are amazing, they're lavender in some light, lilac in others, and they have a liminal pale blue glow sometimes that's hard to describe.

Almost as if they're designed to change and shift like potential does from different perspectives 😁🤩

You know, I think CR3x103 is an incredibly clear example of how Matt's target audience for Critical Role is his players. They wanted to talk to their dear friend Sam who has only recently returned to the table, and use a relatively chill moment to poke him and prod him and figure out his little guy. They captured a longtime enemy who had become a huge stress on the party and they didn't necessarily want to immediately dramatically process anything except relief. They love to see their former blorbos and talk about them and make Matt do their voices and tell them what they're up to.

Most of 3x103 won't make the hypothetical animated show as is, and that's fine. Matt runs for his friends. His friends often spontaneously create unbelievably compelling character-based drama, and we love that and we watch for that, but sometimes they just want to poke Sam Riegel with a stick. Which is valid.

I know Ludinus is supposed to be one of the smartest people in the world but every time he starts talking about releasing Predathos, he sounds like Nott trying to explain how setting off a homemade bomb in a tiny room with all of them inside is absolutely 100% going to work.

Hey Critters!

So, you may recognize these doodles, as I've been live doodling since the first campaign, and doing what side games and one-shots I'm able to do ^_^ I really love doing the doodles, and I hope ya'll are enjoying them too!

I'm reaching out b/c Work is getting tricky as my wife was fired from her job (along with her coworkers last year) b/c her boss got greedy (the union is currently suing him, but we're not looking to get much recompense even if we win probably), and her covid really disabled her so she's not likely to be able to get much new work. Additionally, our kiddo needs a lot of one-on-one support, so her being a stay at home mom is really something he needs at least in these first years of his life. So I'll be the sole earner for the foreseeable future, and I bet you can imagine how tough living off of comics and freelance is lol XD (for a family of 3 humans, 4 rescue cats +1 outside we're caring for best we can, and a number of hefty bills to pay ^_^;;)

So, if you enjoy my doodles (and perhaps even my other work) and want to throw some support my way, a couple bucks a month goes farther than you'd think! Or if that's not an option, shopping in my stores is great too, or even the free option of boosting my work whenever you see it, tell your friends about my comics (word of mouth is LITERALLY what works through this social media algo garbage that's hitting), etc and so on!
