The odd part is this idea that Spock somehow changed after "Amok Time", so he can now "screw like anyone else". First time I hear about this. Does it mean he's not subject to pon farr anymore? Or just that he can have sex outside pon farr (which is something that I always assumed for ALL Vulcans, not just Spock)? Could the scene with Droxine in "The Cloud Minders" be an allusion to this?

I can imagine the Captain's Log after the incident: "Returning from the ceremony in Vulcan that almost cost me my life. Mr. Spock reported in a briefing session that he can now fuck anytime he wants. Dr. McCoy and myself will need to verify this info..."
