i love being a handy butch when there is always potential to fix or make something. like what if one day a very nice femme asks me to put them up a fence. i need to know how to build a fence because that's always a possibility. that a femme might need a fence. built by me. do you get it
better yet... one day a very handsome butch asks for help puttin a fence up. I STILL HAVE TO KNOW HOW. DO YOU SEE

now say it with me: authors/artists dont owe you moral purity. an author/artist job is not to hold you by the hand & tell you exactly what is Good™ & what is Bad™. you should be able to think for yourself

why do you date people if you're aromantic?
because aromantic people can do everything that allo people do if they want :)
my partner and i are in a queerplatonic relationship, and then my boyfriend who i’ve only recently started dating is fully aware of and comfortable with my aro attitude. my sexuality and romanticism are pretty fluid and something i’m still navigating, but i clearly communicate the lack of romantic feeling, especially if i don’t expect it to develop. i had actually assumed that my qpr was a one-off or special circumstance with a special person, instead of being just another way that i can have relationships — if that makes sense — so having aro relationships with multiple people is a new thing for me (though i’ve been polyamorous for a while). that being said i’m still a very “romantic” person and am perfectly comfortable using words like dating/boyfriend etc to describe my relationships. yippee
#<> mwah do whatever u want forever#bean my darling#also. you may want to consider prefacing with a ‘if you don’t mind me asking’ or something. because people’s tones on the internet vary#<< this fr aspec hate is rampant

Scam names used to make sense. "Pump and dump" invokes a very visceral image. "Pyramid scheme" okay we all know what a pyramid looks like. Ponzi requires a bit of historical knowledge, sure, but the old names are mostly straightforward. Time goes on and we get shit like the Nigerian Prince Scam which isn't intuitive from the name but it is at least named for its most common incarnation in the early days, which did tend to involve some sort of prince or rich guy frequently from Nigeria. But they don't even try any more. The Pig Butchering Scam has nothing to do with pigs or butchering. 'It's connected because they try to take everything just like using every part of -- ' every scam tries to take everything! Surreal Nightmare World type scam name.
