French music recommendations

I’m trying to learn french the same way I learnt English: by listening to music and learning the lyrics even if at the beginning I don’t have a clue what the words mean and I mess up with the pronunciation. I know it’s all about practice.

I have found a few songs that I like even if I’m not crazy about them is a step further to get to understand the language. If you don’t want to look them up individually you can go to my spotify playlist which I hopefully will be updating as I find more artist that I like.

Today was basically organizing and coffee. This afternoon I’ll continue reading “La miel derramada” by José Agustín.

I’m actually excited about the book, it’s the first book I’m assigned to read for university, so I’m expecting it to be interesting.

Photo quest #1

Yesterday I decided to go on a photo quest since I had no classes, I just went to pick up my student ID and I had the rest of the afternoon to myself.

Near my Uni there are a lot of interesting places, but I chose to go to a museum this time. The sculptures are Alejandro Nava’s and the paintings are Remedios Varo’s (I became a big fan of her work).

I headed to my favorite coffee shop, “La borra del café”, where I did some reading. And that was the end of the day.
