Aaaaah! The mighty boosh should’ve done an allegory of the cave episode (y’know, the Plato thing). Where Vince and Howard are tied in the cave and the other character in the ep have been in the cave their whole life. And then the plot is them escaping.

Also Diogenes (Greek philosopher guy) needs to be a side character in this. And we need a random celebrity to be one of the people in the cave. Turns out Gary Newman or whoever has only seen shadows his entire life.

Im just saying, guys, Greek philosophy. It’s got some juicy stuff for inspiration.

Oh damn also - an Orpheus and Eurydice style episode (myth about the guy trying to get his wife back from the underworld) where either

a) Howard is trying to save Vince from the land of the dead but Vince keeps on trying to show Howard his sick outfit, and getting offended n insecure when Howard won’t look at him (even though, yknow, if Howard looks back Vince will die again.

b) Vince is saving Howard and Vince has no problem not looking back and tells Howard that he’s not attractive, Howard gets rlly offended and spends a good portion of the journey explaining how good looking he is. Then at some point Vince catches sight of Howard in a reflection or something or maybe he’s already done saving Howard, and he has an “oh shit he hot” moment. It turns out Vince thought Howard was ugly because he has mislabeled a photo with Howard’s name.

Also, this needs to tie into the afterlife introduced in season one with all the Colin’s. Maybe they commandeer a taxi
