More Nash lore! Mostly her familial life.

So, I’ve already revealed this, but Nash has a bull terrier who I’ve officially named Mosa, (after a mosasaurus, duh). She’s one year old when Nash joins the club! She also joins Nash in Africa, and is treated like royalty by Nash’s research crew.

Nash also has an older brother! He’s, like, 20 when she joins the club. They’re not the closest ever, but he still wrestles with her and is crazy protective. He kinda threatened Jerry when Jerry was starting to think about perusing her, but that’s for another comic I’ll have to eventually make.

Nash also has a single mother. Her dad and mom broke up when she was a baby, and now he lives in California with a replacement family and sends Nash’s brother a birthday card every year. He pretends Nash doesn’t exist.

They moved to New York after Nash’s mother got dumped by her boyfriend, and she wanted a fresh start from bum-fuck Michigan. Nash’s brother, being an adult, could’ve stayed or even gone to a different state, but he stayed one, to help his mother pay the bills, and two, to protect Nash. She was bullied in her old school, despite being rather pretty in her canon, because she’s kinda weird and obsessed with dinosaurs. Both her mother and brother were worried she wasn’t going to make any friends, which is actually what led to Nash joining the club. More about that in another comic I’ll have to make, (I really am cooking myself with how many comics I’m promising).

Anyway, enough of that for now!

Some Nash lore drop before I go missing, (start working on the comics).

Other than dinosaurs, Nash really likes SpongeBob. She’s embarrassed about it, cause it’s childish, which is why the guys never really are allowed to go to her house, but she does end up quoting the show whenever she gets more comfortable around the club. (No,1 this is Patrick/You know what’s funnier than 24?/etc. (some of these refs are probably before Nash’s time in the club but IDC!!!!))

She also really likes boy bands! She doesn’t rlly obsess over them like in the typical hormonal teen girl way, but she has a bunch of cds from boy bands like the Beatles, back street boys, NSYNC, etc. (not to mention all the SpongeBob songs she has…)

One final thing! Nash actually isn’t that into fandom culture like the guys. Or even ‘geeky’ things like comics or DnD in general. Shes familiar with some sci-fi and obviously knows anything with Dino’s in it, but the boys are the ones to introduce her to the world of nerds. Even then, she wasn’t that interested in it, only sticking around cause she was lonely, and, obviously, Jerry.

Anyway, that’s all I got rn. I’ll be working on the other shit soon if school doesn’t kill me! (Also, possibly more Nash lore drops soon???)

So, gang, I think I’m going to do the anthropology lore comic (ab my irl experience) first then I’m going to do Jerry’s pov of the break up then some reqs FINALLY then maybe Nash’s first meeting the group comic!! That’s the plan so far.

Sorry if it’s not very satisfying!! I had the general idea of why they broke up in my head and just ran with it.

TLDR: Nash is going to Africa after graduation for an abroad archeology program. At the time, (like 80s/90s-early 2000s), long distance wasn’t rlly a thing and Nash didn’t want to put Jerry through all that anyway. They end up reuniting like a decade+ later. What happens after they reunite is up in the air so far.
