Cardiac Care Unit
The Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) at Noble Multispeciality Hospital is a 16-bed unit comprising 6 acute beds and 10 telemetry beds. The unit is located on the 3nd floor of the Hospital. The facility is supported by a team of experienced nurses, house staff, cardiology fellows and attending physicians who oversee the care and management of all the patients.

Adult critically ill medical cardiology or post-procedure cardiac patients
Patients with life threatening Arrhythmias, Cardiogenic Shock, Acute Myocardial Infarction, Congestive Heart Failure, Cardiomyopathy, Post Cardiac Arrest, Intra Aortic Balloon Pump Therapy, Left Ventricular Assist Device, Angioplasty with Stent and Ablation Therapy

The unit is a high care environment with a higher ratio of nurses to patients than on a general ward. There is monitoring equipment above each bed. This is normal for this kind of unit and enables nursing staff to constantly monitor heart rhythms and other important signs, such as blood pressure and oxygen levels. Information is sent to a central monitor so staff can still see this even when not at the bedside. There are alarms on the equipment that may sound from time to time they do not always indicate a problem so try not to worry.
