In this tutorial I’m going to show you how to turn this

This half of the tutorial is going to be about how to dye and cut the wig.

I use iDye Poly to dye my wigs instead of other methods such as marker dying. I’ve found that it’s more permanent, will never rub off on anything, it doesn’t make the texture of the hair feel weird, and i think it gives better color than markers as well. the only caveat to this is that you need to use a heat resistant wig because of the dyeing and styling processes required.

I apologize in advance, i forgot to take many pictures as i was cutting it, but I’ll do my best to explain.

Part 1 - Ventilating | Part 2 Dying and cutting

Step 1

Gather your materials: the wig, iDye Poly packets in your desired colors, lots of towels and old sheets you don’t mind getting stained, a bucket to put the wig when it’s done dying, a big pot to dye in and tongs to stir and pick the wig up with (never to be used for food again. thrift shops are good places to go and get things like these for cheep), and the left over extensions.

Make sure you lay down lots of towels and things anywhere you don’t want dye to go. The stuff is super messy and extremely hard to get off of surfaces.
