Trying to do inktober last year really stressed me out, but I’m trying to do some art stuff anyways because I haven’t for a while and its fun!

I’ve been getting more and more into Magic the Gathering, and decided to make up a fanwalker- basically an OC that is able to travel between the planes of the MtG world :) This is Amaranth, a Dominarian gorgon who now lives as a hermit in a forest…somewhere?? lol. She does a lot of plant/regrowth magic, so she definitely leans GW but still a little towards black. In my head she’s slowly starting to get to know the nearby villagers, and she sometimes acts as a hedge witch and healer (but only with a hooded cowl and veil covering her face). She secretly hopes to be accepted into a community for who she is, but as a scary, “evil” creature she’s gotten good at hiding, and has shut most of herself away in fear of being rejected. (also I’m open for commissions still, if anyone is interested! )

Rasmin planeswalked to Ravnica and joined the Izzet League long before WAR and the common knowledge of planeswalkers, when they were more of a somewhat-well-kept secret. So like, image Ral meeting them for the first time and he immediately gets nothing but “definitely a planeswalker” vibes from them, which is stressful enough. Then somebody probably points out Pinni and Ral is internally like “THAT IS A KALADESH GREMLIN!! WHAT IS IT DOING HERE!!” and Rasmin quickly makes the weakest, limpest excuse like “oh this is my dog” and Ral feels like he’s going to have a stroke.
