My father’s Dragon directed my Nora Twomey is now on netflix!
Here are some early concepts that I made a while ago for pre-production. I’m really proud and I really did enjoy working on those, even if the production by itself was a nightmare. (I left for some reasons that I won’t expose there, most of them due to management and communication. Animation is an industry, as making clothes or constructing buildings, which is submitted to constraints like time and money; and if you don’t use that time and that money wisely, it can backfire and crush your team , lead to burnouts and dramas)
Hopefully I worked with a magnificient team that I won’t never thank enough, and I’ll let you do your own opinion about that movie!

Inktober#15: Panther cap.
Probably my fav mushroom yet. Looks like a fly agaric, exept it’s golden brow instead of red, with the same snow spots.

inktober #13: amanita muscaria, fly agaric. One of the most iconic mushrooms, one that I never met in the woods yet. I drew it with other autumn red berries: mountain red ash, rose hip, hawthorn.

It’s a real pleasure to draw those little guys.
Who knows where their adventure will lead them?

Inktober #7: Penny bun houses.
Yes, I know, my inktobers are a lot about people cooking stuff with fire. But I love so much the cosy feeling of it, and until I'll possess a fire stove I think I'll probably sublimate my frustration by drawing dream cottages , camp fire, earthen ovens and big soups. You can't stop me.

Inktober #3: devil's bolete/bolet satan/Rubroboletus satanas Very pretty shroom, sulphur and lava colored; his flesh turns blue when cut. NOT EDIBLE, or maybe just for the devil himself.
