What if Under the City Streets was even more mean to Ingo?

Then you get the Mad Woodsman AU of an AU.

The Mad Woodsman was an Ingo who descended fully into madness in the Unknown, attacking anything and anyone that dared get too close with a flaming axe drenched in Edelwood oil. But he inflicted the worst violence on himself, trying repeatedly to kill himself and self-harmed, always failing because his pure despair is fuel for the Beast, making him more useful alive and suffering as a battery to be consumed.

Unlike other Woodsmen, he has a full scraggly beard and long, matted hair and is constantly in a filthy state. His mind is lost in a cloud of misery, despair, and delusions, his moments of clarity few and far between. He is constantly haunted by a figure in white who always stands out of reach, only ever smiling enigmatically at him.

So when Time Lord Emmet Railer appears to try and save him, the Mad Woodsman is immediately lost in raging insanity as he tries to kill the figure, begging to be left alone so he can die in peace. There’s nothing to save. He’s less than nothing. Why can’t the figure leave him alone?

But eventually, the despair becomes too much to bear and he collapses, allowing the Edelwood to take him. When Railer finds him and tries to save him, he begs for oblivion, his heart and soul in so much agony, that death is a relief.

But Railer refuses.

Using his supernatural strength, Railer tears the Edelwood off the Mad Woodsman, ripping whole chunks of bark off at a time. Once enough of him is freed, Railer takes him and his lantern into Time Central station.

The Mad Woodsman is given a room to recover in. But he barely moves. He thinks he’s lost his mind completely and exists in a haze of misery. He refuses to change clothes or bathe because he thinks everything is a hallucination. He is beyond terrified of Railer and Beta, refusing to let them anywhere near him, screaming at them to leave him alone.

However, the Time Manager/Railer’s adoptive time sister, Unity, makes an effort to reach out to him. She takes the feral cat taming approach with him, simply being in his presence and acclimating him to hers. She gently talks to him, tries to help him take care of himself, and makes sure he’s fed. Despite her efforts, he doesn’t outwardly respond to her, often just shuffling back to bed after she coaxes him out. Unlike Railer, the Mad Woodsman never lifts a finger against her, only ever quietly moving away.

It’s decided that they can’t wait any longer to purge his body of the Edelwood oil poisoning him.

The day of the Edelwood oil extraction is a terrifying one. He is put under for the procedure, only for them to discover that Edelwood oil makes up for a quarter of his insignificant weight. He starts to fade, his mind accepting and embracing death as an end to his suffering. With his heart flatlining, Dr. Ingo of @nimbasamedical-train is called and the man is given life-saving blood transfusions, which he begs them not to administer as he wished for oblivion.

When he wakes up, his mind is strangely clear. He’s still miserable, but it’s not eating him alive anymore…

Most of his beard and hair has been trimmed short as the rest of it was filthy and got soaked in oil.

But when Unity comes to check on him, he recognizes her by name. Even when he was insane, he recognized that Unity was only ever trying to help, never daring to hurt her.

As he readjusts to sanity, he still has problems to face.

He’s forgotten what he looks like and can’t recognize faces anymore. He knows what his name used to be but is so full of self-hatred, he’s too ashamed to use it again. So he asks Unity to choose a new name for him.

Unity decides on Pyre.

He accepts it.

And his journey of recovery begins…

Bit of a spoiler for the story line:::

Emmet after a serious Team Plasma Attack involving Kyureme and witnessing the third mysterious dragon of Unova forcefully fuse itself with Reshiram and Zekrom was fascinated and terrifed of this event but he gained ideas.

though his priorities was saving those in damage and destruction caused by the dragon , unfreezing and helping victims with his brother for hours to days till Kyureme and Team Plasma were defeated , Kyureme after being defeated unfused with the other dragons , to weak to fight and angered at Team Plasma it ran off to a secluded location.

Emmet saw where it went but waited a few weeks before chasing it and hunting it down when he found its cave , the dragon was hostile towards him not trusting , Emmet tried to calm them down assuring he just wanted to help and make it whole , how he has an idea , he could brew a potion to fix the broken dragon.

Kyureme determines he was lying threatened his life nearly EATING Emmet till the Medical Professional pleading at letting him just PROVE it .

Kyureme let him go reluctant and letting Emmet give him a potion, a sip , Kyureme gained small black feathers resembling Zekrom after the sip but that’s all, as it was a prototype elixir , convinced Kyureme gave Emmet a time limit to fulfill and complete the potion.

Emmet is excited and terrified at such a challenge .

Dr.Fuse is calm , professional, stern,polite ,friendly, loves his job and trains , he has Emmets curiosity and medical science and Ingo’s medical healing and caring attitude .

He loves experiments like Emmet but takes them to a new level reaching far and wide .

How they work and why the boys wear them.

Info:

While having a simple design ,the masks Ingo and Emmet wear are useful medical devices, they can scan patients for internal injuries,infections and contaminations.

Though ghost pokemon patients aura tends to mess with the technology cause glitches and texts overlaps , no one knows why.

Beware the Blood Doctor

During the 2 year (meant to be 4 ) service as combat Medics / Field Medics in a small war as part of training in way of medical practice , Emmet was severely injured and not by an accidental hit , the attack was planned by the enemy , Emmet took a chest full of shrapnel and Ingo had to perform in field surgery on his brother when he got them to safety .

Now attacking medics or doctors in a battle field INTENTIONALLY or as aggressively target like so is extremely TABOO unless that Medic activity makes the first move but the twins never did as their job was to heal and save lives.

So Ingo once he got his brother stable and safely out of harms way , LOST it , he was always known for his patience, kindness,compassion and PROTECTIVNESS of others ,ESPECIALLY HIS BROTHER.

After leaving his Indeedee assitant with Emmet for protection he pulled out Chandilure and actively hunted down those who harmed his dear brother , with his blood stained hands and coat ( Emmets blood) he trudged across the field having enemies be burned alive by Chandilure though he gave a command not to kill cause he would feel horrible having his precious partner burden with taking lives , no he just wanted the soldiers to feel and KNOW the aching stinging pain in his chest as he saw metal fly into his brothers chest.

Anyone who tried to actively attack Ingo he pulled out a -bone saw- it’s frankly a outdated tool for emergencies only and he used it as his weapon , he spilt a LOT of blood that day , he didn’t kill though , every wound he inflicted was just to cause pain to unleash his anger and fury, he knew EXACTLY where on people’s bodies to inflict wounds that looked worse than they are and DRAW blood leaving trails and he would knock out anyone who didn’t stand down or faint from blood loss.

This earned him the name the Blood Doctor.

Now for optimal service the twins during training trained under combat medics in the field during a small war happening in a hardly named region for a few years to learn quick efficient ways to save a life but after the second year left when Emmet got a serious injury.

They still were determined to be the best doctors they can and when recovered made their dream come true.

At long last, my boys, Doctor!mas, are finally here (just another one of my hundreds of Submas AUs, don’t mind me)!

Ahem… anyways! Let’s introduce them, shall we?

Here are the Subwa- oops! I meant the DOCTOR masters Emmet and Ingo! This AU isn’t anything particularly special, it’s just the boys in an AU where instead of Subway Bosses, they became doctors!

The amount of patients that come in every month for these two is astounding… everyone loves them! Ingo is very patient and caring with his patients, offering them the most attention and care that a doctor has for his patients! Emmet loves to make his patients feel like he is their friend and not just a doctor, ensuring the patients feel a sense of trust with him, so that they can come to a conclusion together! They’re both great at giving the proper diagnosis for all patients and the optimal treatments and medicines they need to get them back on track! The boys are so good at their job that EVERY patient that has been attended by them recommends the two to everyone they know, hence why they receive so many patients so often! And they keep coming back, too.

As for the pastel outfits? Uhh… a few friends and I were chatting about what colors would suit them most, and me and them being the pastel loving silly billies we are chose these colors for them. But hey, at least these colors are a hit with the kiddos! They love these outfits, it makes the doctors more approachable to kids (especially since most kids are TERRIFIED of doctors).
