fun fact: we had a meeting if Miku was canon in the Hunting Grounds universe (aka if she existed in the time that HG takes place). Which she does! Miku was created in 2008 and our film takes place in 2008 :>

Sarah (labor.0f.love on Instagram)

Sarah is our lovely layout lead and was responsible for a very VERY important character’s animation ;]

While leading the team in these aspects, she also contributed her skills to the overall animation of the film, both for rough and cleanup! She also had a hand in compositing with her eye for lighting!

Dasanti (dashenvy on Instagram)

Dasanti helped with character design during pre-production. She also helped to produce layouts for our film, animated (rough & cleanup), as well as composited! Dasanti is one of our social media managers along with myself ( @niles-mcdonald ) and Daniella (colordanime on Instagram).

Message from Dasanti: “This is my first of many animation collab projects and it was an awesome experience. Not only did I love what I was doing and learned more about animation as a whole, I also gained some amazing friends while doing it. I think that’s the key takeaway from this project. I know my teammates will do great things in the future! >:)”

I have been the Production Manager Assistant for this film. I’m also your tumblr account admin! I helped out with props, layouts, and animation as well.

Working along this team was absolutely fantastic and honestly ruined my expectations on how a team should interact (in a very good way). This crew has some of the most talented character designers, storyboard artists, and animators that I have had the pleasure with working with. If I have the opportunity to work with them in the future, I would do so in a heart beat.

I am very excited to see where everyone goes after this, and I wish them all the best in life! 🧡
