Crowley: So if they're your friends I can't be friends with them?

Nik: also can u not msg me so early in the morning

Nik: [sleeps again for about 30 minutes]

Nik: is this aboout juliet?

juliet:

She shrugged. “I’ve missed too much.” She laughed a little at his comment. “I guess so but I might go hiking soon.” She shrugged. “Yeah sure. I think that’s over here.” She said and smiled, not asking questions. “Maybe you should let me take it out for you. They might not trust you with that type of book.”

❝ don’t go hiking around the woods alone. at night. ❞ their past experiences about that, made niklaus very worry for juliet’s safety—even now. he’ll never grow out of it. ❝ ... you’ve got a point. ❞ niklaus agreed. he’s been checking out a couple of books about curses and hexes the last week, the librarian would get suspicious and get tired of his lame excuses that it was for his classes.

he patted juliet on the head. ❝ one missed homework isn’t an entire grade. ❞ he said with a tone that made him sound wise. ❝ missing homework is an adventure in itself, don’t you think? ❞ he replied and scanned the shelf. ❝ yeah, sure. it’ll speed up things. i’m looking for hexes, spell book and other shit like that. ❞

She laughed. “You think I have the time to do that? I have homework and everything. Maybe one day I will.” She said and smiled. “Need help looking?”

juliet:

“Well I haven’t had an adventure in a really long time, so yeah boring.” She said and shrugged. “Wait? Niklaus Stoker is looking for books? That’s very out of the ordinary.”

as much as the stoker wanted to take juliet on a spontaneous adventure at this very moment. he couldn’t. maybe he’ll make it up to her one day, he made a mental note to remember. ❝ you should go do something, travel n’ shit, you’re capable anyway, ❞ he suggested. ❝ ah, quite, no? ❞ he chuckled. ❝ it’s for homework. ❞ half-lie, half truth.

andromeda:

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes as small flashes of the dream appeared in her mind. As an image of a man trying to console her mother as they argued, the man with familiar cold blue eyes. “I think…I think its not a dream,” she opened her eyes and groaned in frustration, her hands going up to tangle themselves in her hair. “I don’t know. I’m not even sure anymore, but it feels like a memory,” she hated not knowing, she had made it her business since she was young to know everything she could, as long as it was relevant to her. 

it hurt niklaus to see the person he loved in misery. he’d do anything to take the curse off her—heck! he’d even transfer the curse to himself if that meant andromeda would be free of it. he stood by her, caressing her hair gently. ❝ hey... you don’t have to worry about whatever your dream was. ❞ he lied. it was probably a vital information they needed. but he didn’t want her to stress over it. at least, not for now. ❝ i think you should get some rest. ❞ he suggested.

❝ wow. your life is incredibly boring, ❞ niklaus teased. though he was pleased to know that his room mate—and bestfriend—was trying to abstain from alcohol. ❝ finding some books, you know nothing out of the ordinary. ❞ he shrugged, moving his head to look at some books on the shelves.

She shook her head and laughed. “Nothing really. Studying. Staying away from the alcohol. How about you?”

owenweiss:

Listening to the other, he nodded slowly. Nik had a point, Bi would probably like Owen regardless of where they went but this was important. This wasnt just their first date, it was Bi’s first date ever. “Well I am the best of the trash crew so I get it. I just want it to be something he remembers.”

niklaus grabbed a pillow and threw it at owen. he laughed. ❝ ah, stop being cocky you little twat. ❞ emphasis on little.  it was probably quite true on some aspects, nik thought. if anyone was the worst in their little troupe, it would probably be niklaus. ❝ of course, he’ll remember it. it’s his first date. ❞

he shook his head with a grateful barely there smile. ❝ so what have you been up to? you know besides making out with my little brother? ❞ he said, assuming that the issue would know be their little inside joke.

She looked at him with concern. “Well if you need to talk out the complicated or need help with anything really, you know where I live.” She said and smiled, putting a hand on his shoulder. “Of course. Anytime.”

❝ well, i know she’s doing well... but she’s not doing that well... she’s not sick, though... ❞ he trailed off as he started to blabber nonsense.. ❝ it’s complicated, ❞ he sighed. he wished things were that easy, having dinner, no stress and all that. but with andy and nik’s problems right now a nice dinner wouldn’t fit. ❝ that would be nice, actually, thanks for the offer jules. ❞

“That’s very true.” She said and laughed. She looked at him confused. “You’re not sure if she’s doing well?” She asked. “Oh well I would hope so too. You should have her over for dinner one night. I’ll make you two love birds a nice dinner and then be out of your hair for the rest of the night or a day.”

❝ when have i been not sick and twisted though? ❞ he replied. he bit his lip at the mention of andy, wondering if he could tell juliet or not. he was his best friend after all, surely he could tell him. but andromeda would —figuratively—kill him at the same time. ❝ she’s doing well?? i’d like to think that the whole andy-wanting-to-rip-your-head-off thing is all in the pass now. ❞

“You know is a sick and twisted way, that was very sweet of you nik.” She said and laughed. “Speaking of girls, how’s Andy? Haven’t seen her in a very long time. Thought she’d have come to find me and rip my head off by now.”

owenweiss:

“Ive saved up so much money for this doing stupid fucking jobs. I just want things to be nice.” He mumbled after a moment trying to ignore the smirk that crossed his features are Nik pointed out how much he liked Bi. “I mean, I liked Ver a lot too but its different. It’s his first actual date, you know.” 

❝ you know what i honestly think? ❞ nik started. ❝ i think this guy you like would like you no matter what. no matter if it was a fancy dinner date or if you guys are eating out on food trucks— plus your sarcasm is like top quality— how could he not like you... like at all? ❞

❝ there’s a long list of what i’d like to thank you for jules. ❞ he said in a moment of sincerity. ❝ might even be longer than the girls i’ve slept with. ❞ which was ruined by his joke.

She stuck her tongue out at him and shook her head. “Like what? You’re the one that puts up with all my bullshit.”

❝ hm, whatever you say princess. ❞ he said with a teasing smile. ❝ you really don’t have to thank me. i honestly think i have a lot more to thank you for. ❞ he admitted.

“That doesn’t mean anything. Other than I have a lot of people watching my every move.” She said and sighed. She laughed at his joke and then lightly pushed him. “Thanks Nik.”

“You could always surprise her every once and awhile?” Owen tossed out before going to loosen his tie with a sigh, tossing the cigarette. “You know, this was easier on the fucking isle. We didnt have to worry about fancy places.”

❝ i could, but me and andy don’t really have the luxury right now to go out on dates. ❞ honestly because their dates now consisted of spell books and researching. ❝ i don’t think so. ❞ nik shook his head. ❝ the difference about this is that you really like the guy a lot, owy. ❞

“Shut up. We are going somewhere fancy and nice. Just because you dont take Rommie to nice places doesnt mean I’m too dressed up.” He stated, ashing his cigarette. 

niklaus chukled. ❝ adorable how you think andromeda and i like going to nice places. ❞ the dates nik and andromeda had weren’t the typical dinner out type of thing. ❝ but you know, you look good, like decent good. ❞
