Honestly I imagine Mistystar as leader in TNP. Because after everything, I can’t imagine Leopardstar coming out of this intact. She’s either forced to step down or challenged, or hell she’s challenged when she refuses to leave the forest.

Don’t know if Blackstar would still happen or even if he would be alive. Honestly I’m for keeping there so he has to see Misty at every gathering, knowing she took down Leopard and one of his lives and will gladly do so again.

I don’t see Deadfoot properly recovering. Maybe Ashfoot and Mudclaw take over those duties. Not a confirmed leader for a while. I can only imagine the possibilities.

I can definitely see Leopardstar being stripped of her rank for her role in the half-clan cat debacle and TigerClan as a whole because unlike what SOME arcs want to believe, she was absolutely down for that shit. As for Blackstar, that's tough...he genuinely shouldn't be leader but I find the idea kind of interesting? Definitely gonna keep him the same minus some actual consequences lol

The Deadfoot situation adds some extra buildup to the WindClan uprising. These guys have been lead by their deputy for moons and then, when he finally wakes up, he raspily reveals one of Tallstar's wishes before he'd be slain and kickstarts a full on civil war before dying Tallstar style.

Definitely right about Hawkfrost, I feel like his struggles would be made even more difficult with how much damage Tigerstar wrought but throw in the destruction of the forest and he has the chance to actually do some damage.

au doodles! basic premise is that firestar and tigerstar actually do get to fight and firestar loses miserably to tigerstar, escaping with sandstorm and graystripe to the twolegplace where princess tells them about a certain alleycat leader who might be able to help them. During his time there, Firestar must heal physically and emotionally and realize he needs to figure out what he really wants (and Scourge provides some help with that).

back in tigerclan, longtail and cinderpelt work together as spies and convince their clanmates to stand up to themselves for when firestar returns. cloudtail is chased off for being a kittypet and brightheart goes with them, the two narrowly avoiding execution to try and find their former leader and his friends.

Fake Cryptids, Real Ghosts

Ok, so dp x dc/batfam because this AU has me by the throat but what if it's the fake cryptid batfamily AU who never joined the JL.

Just...imagine it. The Batfamily has been protecting Gotham quietly but fiercely by scaring the daylights out of criminals as creatures that go bump in the night. A bit of stage magic, frightening method acting, contortion, a whole language comprised of chirps, growls, and body language, and the best tech possible and you've got a recipe for striking fear into the hearts of everyone.

They've got shrines on the rooftops, vaguely on the JL radar (Cause really, who's gonna believe that Gotham, one of the worst cities has a demon problem? Constantine? Homeboy took one look at Gotham and went Nope.) and they're protected cause any self respecting Gothamite wouldn't go spilling the beans to Outsiders. The Bats keep them safe. Who would believe them anyways?

Enter half dead, half alive Danny Fenton.

Danny Fenton who has a best friend's named Tucker and Sam who find out about the Gotham Cryptids, and go absolutely ham on research because here lies something,a bunch of someone's who are Other. Maybe they're creepy but they're cool and they're Heroes and they help people.

Sure, at first it was an attempt from Sam and Tucker to help their best friend feel less alone in the face of other, more 'normal' heroes and people out there in the world. Maybe they try to further bury the Bats online cause if anyone understands keeping on the down low, it would be Amity Parker's. For awhile, Danny Fenton, sometimes Phantom is simply happy to know he's not alone.

Then he's outed and his sister who's long since been ecto-contaiminated is put at risk there's nowhere that seems safer. Gotham is a chaotic city, even without the Bats factoring in. After all Gotham has (Demons-Spirits-Creatures?) The Bats already. Who would care if a halfa and his sister hide out there? As long as they're respectful of their territory, it'll be fine right? Besides, they've got to warn the Bats anyways about the GIW and government. They're coming after ghosts, who knows if they'll be next? Spooky things have to look out for each other after all.

Cue shenanigans as Phantom who stops hiding all of his creepier traits as a ghost walks up to the Totally Human but Faking it Batman with really thoughtful gifts for all of their shrines (And one fruitcake), no heartbeat and an earnest plea for a safe haven in their Haunt because the Ancients taught him manners and the importance of respecting another entities territory.

next time we get a reboot, i want a Batman who isn’t grim, but instead...

he’s unsettling.

Batman’s whole basis is the idea of scaring criminals, right?

well, sure, outright intimidation through brute force works for that.

But the whole reason a bat was chosen is that the average person doesn’t understand how cute and cool they are, and finds them creepy and gross.

So let’s play that up. A Batman who uses his training in escape artistry, stage magic, and contortionism to move in ways people think humans shouldn’t be able to move. A Batman who reacts to things that he shouldn’t be able to (because his suit is wired with sensors and Alfred is monitoring things through hacked security feeds). A Batman who has a Slasher Smile.

Give me a Batman who, for the villains, seems like a cryptid. An urban legend on the level of creepypasta, some half-glimpsed shadow who, instead of being scary because of his muscles, is scary because holy shit what was that? What just happened? I’m outta here, man!

Give me a Batman where his battles with characters like Scarecrow and the Joker seem more like one of those crossover films where two horror movie monsters fight it out.

And then?

Give me a Robin and Batgirl who are the same way.
